Saudis May Ban Letter ‘X’

A group of Islamic clergy in Saudi Arabia has condemned the letter "X” because of its similarity to a hated banned symbol – the cross.

The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, which has the ultimate say in all legal, civil and governance matters in the kingdom, issued a fatwa, or religious edict, against the "X.”

It came in response to a Ministry of Trade query about whether a Saudi businessman could be granted trademark protection for a new service with the English name "Explorer.”

The request from the businessman, Amru Mohammad Faisal, was turned down.

"Experts who examined the English word ‘explorer’ were struck by how suspicious that ‘X’ appeared,” Youssef Ibrahim writes in the New York Sun.

"In a kingdom where Friday preachers routinely refer to Christians as pigs and infidel crusaders, even a twisted cross ranks as an abomination.”

In response to the turndown, Faisal wrote an article that appeared on several Arabian Web sites, sarcastically suggesting that the authorities might consider banning the "plus” sign in mathematics because of its similarity to the cross.

Among the commission’s earlier edicts is the 1974 fatwa declaring that the Earth is flat.

     EXPLOITING WOMEN:    Tehran & Toronto
By RON GRAY  CHPLeader@chp.ca
  CHP National Leader

Socialists and Libertarians clamoring to legalize prostitution in Canada
would probably by astonished to learn that they're walking right in the
footsteps of the mullahs of Iran.

As Iran has diverted oil revenues from social needs to weaponry and the
support of terrorism, the Shi'ite nation has had a growing problem with
street prostitution. Tehran's proposed solution - one that conforms to Shari
'a Law  - is a proposal to establish what they call
"chastity houses".

To understand why "chastity houses" - which are really brothels - fit within
the Ayatollahs' rigid interpretation of Shari'a, you have to comprehend the
Islamic principle of sighe: although the Qur'an limits a man to four wives,
Shari'a allows
sighe - "temporary marriage" for a fee. In fact, if not in
name,
it's prostitution. And like all prostitution, it exploits women.

Tehran's proposed "chastity houses" will be places where destitute women can "marry" Iranian men for a half-hour or so, and thus eke out a living. And the government will get the embarrassment of prostitution off the streets.

Of course, the exploitation of desperate women is still exploitation,
whether it's under Shari'a or socialism.

In Tehran or in Toronto, or anywhere else in the world, legalized
prostitution
is merely caving in to the problem of sexual exploitation, not
solving it.

In Iran, the problems that drive women to degrade themselves by prostitution are primarily their inability to get an education, oppressive domination by men, and a crumbling economy; in Canada, it's more likely to be rebellion, addiction, and a crumbling moral code, eroded by the sexualizing of our children in schools and the entertainment media. But the result is still the same: when women are desperate, there will always be johns and pimps willing to exploit them.

It would be a compounded tragedy - and a moral outrage - if our government made it easier for the exploiters by legalizing prostitution.

PLEASE NOTE:

I find a great deal of similarity between the hyprocisy of the Muslims and their position on prostitution (calling WHORE HOUSES 'chastity houses') and the hypocritical position of the Roman Catholic Church on divorce (calling DIVORCE annulment)!

Their official position is NO DIVORCE unless,  of course, you have enough money and clout, like Senator Ted Kennedy whose 'claim to fame' came on the heels of the sordid, irresponsible and possible criminal Chappequiddick Tragedy!

An annulment of marriage cannot be officially given unless one party can prove dishonesty, sexual perversion or frigidity that hampers the fulfillment of the act of sexual intercource. Usually the annulment is requested almost immediately or no later than a few weeks after the marriage vows were made.

In the case of Kennedy, the hypocritical Roman Catholic Church issued 'the old skirt chaser' an annulment after being married to Joan for decades and had three children. I HATE HYPOCRICY IN THE MUSLIM RELIGION AS WELL AS THE  ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION.!!!    - Pastor Max Solbrekken

                  Note: Historical record...Sympathy For Joan
Teddy divorced his wife Joan in 1981, had the marriage annulled [The Catholic Church relegates the marriage as never occurring] in 1983, so that he could remarry as a Catholic in 1992. The second marriage was even "blessed" by the Catholic Church in 1995. "A Catholic annulment, or a declaration of nullity or invalidity, is a statement of fact, by the Catholic Church, that a valid marriage (as defined by the Catholic Church) never existed." Too bad for the children Patrick, Edward, and Kara -their parents were never married according to RC. Legally, no? Spiritually, no?
What a lying scam.!!!!!!! m.s.

Haman, Hitler, Hussein

by David Brickner   March 1, 2006

Evil Has a Name and It Begins with "H"

Many people don't want to acknowledge that evil exists; they believe that people do bad things because circumstances or environment or conditioning leaves them no choice. Others know that evil exists but see it as a vague, unnamed malevolent force that somehow preys on innocent people. Yet history shows that evil is real and personal—and in fact, some individuals have become the very personification of evil. This month we remember one such person, and his name is Haman.

The festival of Purim, celebrated this year on March 14, commemorates God's victory over Haman's evil intentions to utterly destroy the Jewish people. Today, the feast of Purim is a lighthearted holiday traditionally celebrated by humorous enactments of the book of Esther called Purim schpiels. Noisemakers, games and delicious pastries known as hamantaschen (Haman's ears) are all part of the tradition, and many people play practical jokes similar to those on "April Fool's Day."

But the actual events of Purim, as recorded in the book of Esther, were anything but light-hearted for the Jews living at that time. The ancient world was cruel. Entire cultures and peoples were destroyed through wars. Even so, rarely, if ever, was genocide practiced during peace times against a people submitted under the rule of a king. Rarely, if ever, was the mass execution of such a people methodically planned to be carried out in one day. Yet this is the atrocious evil associated with that name, Haman.

"And the letters were sent by couriers into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate all the Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar, and to plunder their possessions" (Esther 3:13).

It is plain to see that such a decree is evil, but what about the person behind it?

There have always been villains like Herod, Haman, Hitler and Hussein; groups like Hamas and Hezbollah who have sought to wipe out the Jewish people. They have been diabolically inspired by Ha Satan (Hebrew for the adversary) who is God's sworn enemy. He longs to wipe out the Jews because in so doing, he imagines himself defeating God's plan and making Him to be an impotent liar. After all, God promised to protect and preserve the Jewish people—in fact one might say that He has staked His reputation on the perpetuity of the nation. No wonder the destruction of the Jewish people has been the objective of "evildoers" throughout history. While those demonically inspired individuals probably do not know or care about spiritual realities, their own evil inclinations have provided Satan with opportunities to use them.

Why do people have such a hard time associating evil with a person or persons, with naming them as evil? When President Bush called terrorists "evildoers" he was ridiculed as though he had made a blunder unbefitting his office. Why try to justify the actions of evil people? I remember a public service ad on television that admonished, "Don't leave your keys in your car or you might help make a good boy go bad."

We have fashioned blame shifting into an art form to avoid the harsh reality that people are responsible for their evil actions. Why? There are things about evil that by nature, we do not want to know.

Evil Has a Source and It Begins with "H"

A major source of evil in this world is the human heart and we all have one of those. From earliest times, "…the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually" (Genesis 6:5).

This was not merely an evaluation of one or two generations. It was God's diagnosis of the human predicament for all time. Y'shua (Jesus) said, "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man" (Mark 7:21-3).

Evil is not some unnamed malevolent force that exists solely outside the realm of humanity. The Bible speaks a great deal about evil (462 times) and specifically identifies people as evildoers 44 different times. Not only is evil real. People are evil. And part of our evil nature is that we don't want to admit it.

Our modern and post-modern mindset resists the idea that evil has become inherent in human nature because of the fall of our race. How ironic then, that when confronted with their wrongs, many shrug it off by saying, "I am only human." Precisely. Deep down, everyone knows that not one of us is exempt from evil thoughts, words or deeds. Most would simply prefer to call it something else.

Perhaps we avoid the reality that our hearts are evil because we reserve that word for the likes of Haman, who, after all, must be in a category shared only by other ruthless murderers like Hitler and Hussein. But Haman's heinous crime did not begin as a diabolical plan for genocide. It grew out of what the Greeks called "hubris." It grew out of the wretched seething resentment of inappropriate pride.

"When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath" (Esther 3:5). That seething wrath towards Mordecai the Jew gestated and gave birth to Haman's monstrous plan to wipe out all Jews.

Could something as common as hubris lead to something so, well, so evil as genocide? Yes! Pride is a powerful deceiver that causes untold destruction. It keeps us from seeing and hating our own sin. The feeding and festering of arrogance under any cover, be it nationalism, religious fervor or you-name-it can take human beings down a maniacal path toward genocide, gas chambers, the slaughter of innocent Kurdish women and children. But it will not always be so.

Evil Has a Destiny and It Begins with "H"

Haman had a hangman's gallows erected for the special execution of the Jew he hated most, Mordecai. But Haman's plans backfired in one sudden moment of judgment. Standing before the King, Queen Esther confronted Haman with his evil plan. The truth came out in the most unexpected way—through a young woman who had risked her life to uncover the plot. With Haman's wickedness revealed, justice was swift and relentless.

"Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, 'Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king's behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.' Then the king said, 'Hang him on it!' So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai" (Esther 7:9-10).

Those gallows are a part of the history of the Jewish people's survival but they also symbolize God's intention to judge all evil some day.

God will judge evil, if not in this life, as was the case of Haman, then most certainly in the next. Evildoers have a destiny and that destiny is called Hell. One day all will stand before the King to have justice meted out—and then there will be no avoiding the reality that we have sinned—that we have thought, said and done what was evil in God's sight.

Thankfully, God did not condemn us to be left to our own evil inclinations. God sent His only beloved Son, a Jew named Y'shua, into this world to change our destiny for good. Satan in his pride, tried to get Jesus to bow down to him. Failing that, he foolishly constructed a "gallows" from which Jesus willingly allowed Himself to be hung. The enemy must have thought Jesus' death would defeat the plan of God. Instead, that gallows, the cross of Christ, became the point of victory by which the adversary and all his evil accomplices would be destroyed.

Purim teaches us that evil has a name, a source and a destiny. It demonstrates how God uses the unexpected to separate good from evil, to preserve His people and put forward His plans. Though we see our sin on a far smaller scale, evil still resides in each of us. Its source is pride, which has corrupted every human heart and given birth to unholy thoughts, words and choices. But God used the most unexpected means to separate us from our sin. He nailed it to Calvary so that He could give us a new name, a new heart and a new destiny.

The cross became the means by which our own sin would be executed so that we might be saved. That is the good news that we must believe and proclaim to our world. Evil is real. Hell is real. And because of these realities, we have been given the only real solution, the finished work of our Messiah Jesus. "Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!" (2 Corinthians 9:15).

Saudi King: Terror Is Work of the Devil

CAIRO, Egypt  — Islamic terrorism is "the work of the devil," and Saudi Arabia will fight it "until we eliminate this scourge," King Abdullah (search) said in an interview broadcast Friday.

In the interview with ABC-TV's Barbara Walters, he also said the kingdom will expand the rights of women and eventually allow them to drive.

The king denied assertions that his government finances schools that teach a fundamentalist philosophy of Islam that can lead to militancy.

Saudi Arabia "will fight the terrorists, and those who support them or condone their actions, for 10, 20 or 30 years if we have to, until we eliminate this scourge," the king said.

When asked why groups such as Al Qaeda (search), the terror network led by the Saudi-born Usama bin Laden (search), had taken root in the kingdom, he replied: "Madness and evil. It is the work of the devil."

Foreign observers and liberal Saudis have long contended that the way Islam is taught in Saudi schools encourages attitudes that may lead students to become terrorists later.

"For those who level these charges against us, I say provide us with the evidence that this is happening and we will deal with it," the king said. "It is not logical or rational for us to be supporting it.

"We have also regulated our charities and we have closed offices around the world, and we have withdrawn support for institutions that we found to be extremist," he added.

After the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States, the kingdom took steps to prevent money collected by Islamic charities from being diverted to terrorist groups.

The kingdom was initially faulted for being slow to clamp down on militants and their financing, but it drastically stepped up its measures after Al Qaeda-linked groups launched a series of terror attacks on Saudi soil in May 2003.

Abdullah, who became king on the death of his half-brother Fahd in August, told ABC he was committed to increasing the rights of Saudi women, who are currently not permitted to drive cars and who need a male relative's permission to travel abroad or attend university.

"I believe the day will come when women drive," he said. "In fact, if you look at the areas in Saudi Arabia, the deserts and in the rural areas, you will find that women do drive.

Driving licenses for women "will require patience. In time, I believe it will be possible," the king said in the ABC report, which was posted on the network's Web site.

But when pressed on whether he would legalize female driving, Abdullah indicated Saudi men were too conservative for such a step any time soon.

"I value and take care of my people as I would my eyes," he said. "I respect my people."

Parts of the interviewed were aired Friday morning on "Good Morning America." The full interviewed was scheduled for broadcast Friday night on ABC's "20/20" news magazine show.

BISHOP T.D. JAKES’

EIGHT SECOND PRAYER!

    By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.

"Lord, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, and bless me, my family, my home and my friends, in Jesus' name. Amen."

                                                             - Bishop T.D. Jakes

They call it ‘Bishop Jakes Eight Second Prayer’. People are testifying that it works wonders! And I believe it! Even a short and direct prayer like that is certainly better than no prayer at all! In this column I will examine this prayer and seek to understand why it does work, as short and hurried as it is!

We have several precedents for it in the Bible, among which is ‘The Sinner’s Prayer’! It comes from the parable Jesus told about a publican who smote his breast and prayed thusly: “God be merciful to me a sinner.” (Luke 18: 13).

Our Lord compared the short, broken-hearted prayer of a repentant sinner with the long, proud prayer of a self-righteous Pharisee! Jesus said: “I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other.” It wasn’t the length of the prayer, but its sincerity and humility that mattered!

Let me be clear, however, that when a person has been received into God’s kingdom, it would be totally inconsistent with reality to make short prayers a habit, without spending quality time in God’s presence pouring out feelings of love, gratitude and worship to our precious Lord and Saviour!

JESUS PRAYED SOME SHORT PRAYERS!

Jesus prayed several short, powerful and effective prayers, while lifted up on the ‘cross of shame’ (Gal.3: 13). Among the ‘Seven Sayings of Christ’ from the cross came this powerful utterance: “Father, forgive them: for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23: 34)

That short prayer was of utmost importance because it confirmed the Old Testament prophecy of the promised Messiah: “And He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bear the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.” (Is.53: 12).

It also shows us the love of God for sinners! St. Paul made this staggering statement: “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” (Heb. 12: 24) What does that mean?

When Cain murdered Abel, Almighty God confronted him thusly: “What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto Me from the ground.” (Gen. 4:10). The blood of righteous Abel was asking for revenge, but when Jesus was dying on the cross, He cried out: “Father forgive them…” Jesus’ blood cried out for forgiveness while Abel’s blood demanded revenge!

JESUS’ BLOOD SPEAKS TODAY! It speaks forgiveness and mercy, grace and peace, healing and deliverance! The blood of Jesus speaks loud and clear to a lost and dying world, to the sick and suffering, and to the poor and lonely among us!

I have personally witnessed the change in thousands of lives as repentant, broken-down sinners have called on the name of Jesus our Lord and have received the forgiveness of sins and the “peace that passeth all understanding” into their innermost  being! (Phil.4: 7)

BISHOP JAKE’S PRAYER!

We find a number of great gospel truths encapsulated in ‘T.D. Jakes 8 x 8 prayer’. Firstly, God is properly addressed as Lord and in the prayer we rightly express our love for Him! Jesus said to His disciples: “Ye call Me Master and Lord: and ye say well: for so I am.” (John 13: 13 ); “And why call ye Me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6: 46).

The Bible says: “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2: 36 ).

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him (Jesus), and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil.2: 9-11).

Jesus said: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.” (Matt.22: 37-38). There is no God like Jehovah!

The Eternal states: “To whom will ye liken Me, saith the Lord. Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding.

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might, He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” (Is.40: 28-31)

Jesus said: ‘For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son (one and only Son), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the word; but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3: 16,17)

And St. John wrote: “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation (expiation, mercy seat, satisfying the demands of divine justice) for our sins. We love Him because He first loved us.” (I John 4: 10,19)

HE LOVED US BEFORE WE KNEW HIM!

In theology, we call this the ‘prevenient grace of God’! What does that mean? God loved us before we loved Him! The very reason that we called out to Him is that He had already touched our hearts, so that we would respond to His great love. Unbeknown to us, He was calling us; putting the right people in our pathway, through a radio broadcast or the kind words of a relative or neighbour, or speaking to us in a supernatural dream or vision!

St. Paul declared: “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” ( Rom. 5: 6, 8)

      An old gospel song stated:

And this is why I love Him, He gave Himself for me

To purchase my salvation, They nailed Him to the tree.

At last He cried tis finished. He bowed His head and His died

Oh what a sight for sinners, My Saviour crucified!

I LOVE YOU LORD & I NEED YOU!

If sinners only knew Who Jesus Christ really is, they would embrace Him (1 Cor.2: 7,8). The whole world stands guilty before God (John 3: 18 ) and one day Jesus will return, not as a Saviour but as judge of the living and the dead! (Matt.24: 29-31; Rev.19: 11-16).

Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem because of their sinfulness and how they would suffer because of their unbelief!  He had come to save them, but they had refused. He prophesied God’s judgment upon them:

“For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side. And they shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave within thee one stone upon another; BECAUSE THOU KNEWEST NOT THE TIME OF THY VISITATION.” (Luke 19: 41-44)

In A.D.70 the judgment was fulfilled. Jerusalem lay in an ash-heap, the temple had been dismantled - stone by stone – and the nation of Israel was no more. He had cursed as fig tree because there was no fruit on it and it wizened away. It was a type of Israel that was going to die, and it did!

Jesus made a second prophecy concerning Israel – it would come back to life in the latter days! He stated: “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender,  and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things shall be fulfilled.” (Matt. 24: 32-34).

The fig tree was then and still is the symbol of Israel ! Jesus referred to Israel’s rebirth in connection with His return; First the rebirth of the nation of Israel according Ezekiel chapter 37, and then His return according to Hosea 5: 15; 6: 1-3. In Luke 21: 29, He includes “and all the trees” which would take in the nations that have to do with Israel , the Arabs of the Middle East !

Write for my message entitled ‘New & Exciting Signs of the Return of Christ’, which deals with the two generations Jesus spoke of, the length of a Biblical generation, the budding of the fig tree “and all the trees, the rebirth of Israel and the return of Jerusalem to the Jews, for the first time in thousands of years and what all that means today!

We need the Lord now, more than ever! St. Peter said: “Casting all your cares upon Him, for He careth for you.”  (1 Peter 5: 7).  We need Him more than the air we breathe, the clothes we wear or the food we eat! Jesus overcame Satan with God’s Word: “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matt.4: 4).

Here’s the chorus of an old gospel song:

I need Thee, Oh, I need Thee

Every hour I need Thee

Oh, bless me now my Saviour

I come to Thee!

COME INTO MY HEART, LORD JESUS!

In my old Evangelical Lutheran Church , we learned a classic altar song that has stayed with me ever since. I often still use in my crusades after having invited people to respond to the Gospel. It goes like this:

Into my heart, into my heart

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus

Come in today, Come in to stay

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus

All of my heart, all of my heart

Take all of my heart, Lord Jesus

Take all today, Take all I pray

Take all of my heart, Lord Jesus

Out of my heart, out of my heart

Shine out of my heart, Lord Jesus

Shine out today, shine out I pray

Shine out of my heart, Lord Jesus!

AND BLESS ME, MY FAMILY & MY FRIENDS!

That part of the prayer is also very scriptural! The Bible says: “God be merciful unto us, and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us: Selah (pause, think of that). That Thy way may be known upon earth, Thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise Thee, O God; let the people praise Thee.

“O let the nations be glad and sing for joy; for Thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon the earth. Selah. Let the people praise Thee, O God; let all the people praise Thee.

Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.” (Ps. 67: 1-7)

What a tremendous truth! When God blesses us, our relatives, neighbours and friends also will feel the impact. When God blesses us, we begin to praise God and things change round about us. Others begin praising God too and before long, our communities begin prospering and government officials start honouring God. And, even the land will give her increase as God rebukes the devourer for our sakes! (Mal.3: 8-10) Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!

HISTORY CONFIRMS THAT!

History provides a confirmation to this great truth. Look at the blessing of God that was upon King David and the Israelites while they served the Lord God Jehovah! When they turned away from the teachings of Moses, the blessing departed. And when they rejected the Covenant that God made with Moses (Deut. 28) and his prophecy about the Coming Messiah (Deut.18: 15; Acts 3: 22 -26; 7: 51 -52) and crucified the Prince of Life, they went into captivity and obscurity for two millennia!

Now, look at God’s blessing that came  through the Protestant Reformation led by Martin Luther and other great reformers that shook Europe, resulting in hundreds of Evangelical missionaries being sent around the world from Great Britain and the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

No-one can deny the great influence of Great Britain under the godly Queen Victoria when ‘Britannica ruled the waves’ and God’s blessing upon the United States of America for the past two hundred years. Then, look at the parts of Europe that have chafed under the rule of papal regimes and you will find corruption, superstition and poverty!

In 1831, Alexis de Toqueville of France visited the USA to study the democracy of  that great nation. France was beginning the democratization process and he had been dispatched to America to discover her secrets! Here is what he wrote:

"I sought for the greatness and the genius of America in her commodius harbours and her ample rivers, and it was not there; in her rich mines and her vast world commerce and it was not there. Not until I went into the CHURCHES OF AMERICA, and her PULPITS AFLAME WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS, DID I UNDERSTAND THE SECRET OF HER GENIUS AND POWER."

In Quebec , we have had more than one hundred years of misrule, corruption and poverty – kept alive by the largesse of Ontario , Alberta and British Columbia ! A study of history reveals the inability of Federal Quebec politicians to govern in Canada , without resorting to immoral, abusive and corrupt practices that generate scandal upon scandal!

Our only hope is to clean house in Ottawa and replace corruption with honesty, integrity, and a repealing of immoral and unrighteous laws that have been enacted by politically appointed judges, who apparently, are motivated by self interest and the leftist agenda! An evangelical grassroots, national Bible Revival of repentance, honesty and fairness would dramatically change our beloved nation of Canada for the better!

And Europe ’s only hope is a revival of evangelical, Pentecostal fire to burn away their godlessness and pride! If they do not, they will be the prime breeding ground for the Antichrist and his false prophet! May Europeans open their hearts to Jesus Christ in the tradition of Martin Luther, Zvingli, Knox, Wesley, Whitfield and Booth!

What about the nations of the Middle East : Israel believes in the Eternal, living God and despite all the hatred of their Muslim neighbours – whose sole purpose for living, it seems, is to annihilate that tiny nation – has risen from the ashes of the holocaust to become one of the most powerful military nations in the world!

What about their neighbours? Islam – the religion of the Sword – is fast becoming the religion of fanatical suicide bombers! And when their oil is gone, their only hope will be to flee to the nations of the West for survival - as they are now doing by the tens of thousands! The gospel of Jesus Christ is the ONLY HOPE for the Arabs and the Jews! He paid the supreme price for our redemption by His blood on Calvary ’s cross for us all!

Look at what democracy and individual freedom has given to the world! And where did all that blessing come from? Democracy is the child of the Law of Moses and the teachings of Jesus Christ!

IN THE NAME OF JESUS, AMEN!

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father by Him.” ( Col 3:17). Jesus said: “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven.

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matt.18: 18-20);  “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents (Paul on Malta - Acts 28: 3-5) and if they drink any deadly thing (Pentecostal preachers in Soviet prisons) it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Acts 28: 8,9).

“And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it…that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.

“And in that day ye shall ask Me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it you; “Hitherto ye have asked nothing in My name: ask and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 14: 13 ,14; 15: 16: 23 ,24)

“Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us. And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.” (1 John 3: 21 ,22; 4: 13 -15).

Why is the name of Jesus so important, that we should ask Almighty God to answer our prayers prayed only in His name?

The Resurrected Jesus declared: “…Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations beginning in Jerusalem .” (Luke 24: 46.47)

When asked by the religious authorities about the healing of a crippled man outside the Temple Gate , St. Peter declared: “And His (Jesus) name through faith in His name has made this man strong, whom ye see and know; yea, the faith that is by Him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him does this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 3: 16 ; 4:10 -12)

“And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.” (John 20: 30,31)

AMEN: EVEN SO LET IT BE!

The word ‘amen’ is a form of assent. It means “true, even so let it be”. (1 Cor.14: 16).  All of God’s promises are guaranteed by Christ Himself, Who is the Truth and the Amen. The Bible says: “For all the promises of God are in Him yea and in Him Amen.” (2 Cor.1: 20).  In Revelation 3: 14, Jesus Christ is called “the Amen”, because He is “the Way, the Truth and the Life.” (John 14: 6) Amen

Seven Lesson Sunday Morning Sermon Series on Islam

7 Factors that caused Muhammad to reject Christianity and start his own new religion called Islam.

60 questions Muslims don't like to be asked because their answer proves Islam to be a false religion.

A Brief History of Islam and a Muslim version of their own history.

10 reasons why Islam is not from God

Mormons and Muslims share much in their religion! Joseph Smith was wise when he modeled a new religion after his mentor Muhammad and Islam. It seems Smith reasoned, "Hey if Muhammad could start a new religion very hostile to Christianity, I can start a new religion that is only somewhat hostile to Christianity." Both Muhammad and Smith claim an angel visited them. Galatians 1:8 says "But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed."

Muhammad’s call to prophethood and the influence of his wife

"The church fathers treated Islam as a heresy; Muslims were infidels; Muhammad a "renegade bishop," an "impostor," who rebelled against the central mission of Christ. Dante ranked the prophet of Islam low among the ill-fated occupants of the Inferno. Christian authors in subsequent times held him in no better regard. In his Vie de Mahomet (Life of Muhammad), published at the end of the seventeenth century, the French writer Prideaux held Muhammad up as a mirror to "unbelievers, atheists, deists and libertines." To the irreligiously inclined Voltaire, the prophet of Deism, Muhammad was the fount of fanaticism. The more generous Abbe Maracci regarded Islam as a distorted extension of Christianity while he begrudgingly conceded in his Latin translation of the Qur'an (Koran), the sacred book of Islam, that "this religion contains many elements of natural truth evidently borrowed from the Christian religion, which seems to be in accordance with the law and light of nature."" Encyclopedia of Islamic Myths!

"Islam ... contains multitudes of wild myths" (The Life of Mahomet, Sir William Muir, 1861,Vol. 1 chapter 1,)

Islam: Truth or Myth? start page

Myths are fantasy/untrue stories that are accepted as reality/truth themselves.

Index of Islamic Myths:

"9/11 Media Conspiracy Myths":

The Myth of Faked footage: Muslims celebrating on Sept 11,2001, when they heard the news of the WTC collapsing.

The myth that Jews were the pilots of the planes that slammed into world trade centers. "Jews were the pilots funded by the CIA under the control of Israel, were the real pilots of those planes on 911. The CIA then produced photos of Muslim looking people in an effort to destroy Islam", a practicing Muslim told us.

"Koran Myths":

Embryology Myths: Scientific errors of medical information on embryology and human development in the mother’s womb.

The Koran is unchanged and perfect!

Earliest complete manuscript of Koran is 200 AH or 800AD! There are no ancient copies of the Koran dating before 750 AD in museums. We challenge you to prove us wrong! Send us the name, locate and date of the Koran written earlier!

"Islamic Hajj (pilgrimage) Myths":

The Hajj is purely of pagan origin, adopted directly into Islam from pagan polytheism.

Animals were sacrificed at the Kabah at one time. As shocking as it may be to Muslims, the "al-Hijr" (area enclosed by a half-moon shaped wall beside the Kaba called the hatim) was originally designed as a pen to house animals to be sacrificed at the Kaba.

"Allah Myths":

It has frequently been pointed out how Muhammad's concept of Allah in the Qur'an falls far short of that of other monotheistic religions of the Near East (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 85)

 Allah
Allah
Allah

Muhammad learned monotheism from Christians Arabs were "late bloomers" when it came to rejecting polytheism and adopting monotheism. While much of the world had rejected polytheism, Arabs, like late blooming adolescents finally gave up their eternal history of paganism.... thanks to the direct influence of Christians.

Allah is not the God of the Bible but is the personal name for the Islamic God!

The phrase, "no god but Allah"? proves "Allah" is not just another word for "God" to the Muslims. The transliterated phrase from Arabic reads, "La ilaha illAllah." A word for word translation into English would read: La [no] ilaha [god] ill [except or but] Allah [Allah]. The important thing to note is that the word "Allah" is a name and is not the word for god. If "Allah" were the word for god, then the phrase would read, "there is no allah but allah. Clearly it does not. The Qur’an itself claims that Allah is the personal name of the Islamic god: (017.110) "Say, Call Him Allah or call Him Ar-Rahman; whatever the name you call Him, all His names are beautiful." If "Allah" were the word for god, then Islam’s god is nameless. There is also no evidence that the word "Allah" is a contraction of the words "al ilah," which means, "the god." If it were, then again, the phrase would read, "there is no allah but allah." As part of the first "Pillar of Islam," this issue is critical as Islam claims that the God of the Bible (whose name is Yahweh) and Allah are one in the same and that we all, therefore, worship the same god.

"Muhammad Myths":

There are thus two figures of Muhammad, the Muhammad of history and the Muhammad of faith [myth], the historical preacher who lived and labored in seventh-century Arabia and the mythical figure of the Prophet which lives in the faith of his community. (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 3-4)

The Koran says Muhammad was not sinless, but Muslims reject what the Koran says!

Muhammad had more than 4 wives. Perhaps as many as 22. His youngest wife was 6 years old.

Muhammad never performed the Hajj (Pilgrimage at Mecca)

Muhammad worshipped Idols. Muslims falsely claim Muhammad never worshipped Idols. Another Arab myth.

Muhammad was not a prophet of God, but was in the right place in the right time, who said the right things in the right way, to transform a rapidly changing Arab society into the religion of Islam. The social dynamics behind the rise of Islam are examined.

Muhammad was not born in the year of the Elephant!

 Myths about Muhammad's childhood.

Muhammad was not illiterate. He could read and write!

Muhammad was not a prophet but was the founder and inventor of Islam

Muhammad was not a moral example compared to Jesus Christ

"Kaba Myths":

Adam built the first Kaba
Abraham went to Mecca
Abraham sacrificed Ishmael instead of Isaac near Kaba
Abraham rebuilt the Kaba
That the Kaba in Mecca was the only Kaba in Arabia
That the black stone in Mecca was the only one in Arabia

According to Muslim tradition, God told Abraham to begin the rite of pilgrimage to Becca (now Mecca). In a rite called tawaf, Arab pilgrims from time immemorial circled the stone counterclockwise seven times and ran seven times between the two promontories in memory of Hagar's seven passages. The historicity of this Abrahamic tradition is difficult to confirm; the first verifiable reference to the Arab people occurs in an inscription of Shalmanezer III dated 853 BC. (The Joy of Sects, Peter Occhigrosso, 1996, p394-397)

Other Myths:

Islamic belief in Jinn is superstitious paganism. Islamic belief in Jinn is superstitious Arab paganism. Jinn are unique to Arab paganism. Jinn are the "mythical bad guys" of Arab culture. Rather than discarding the wide spread concept of the "Jinn" believed by the Pagan Arabs, Muhammad rubber stamped these mythical manmade creatures and brought them right into the Koran!

Modern Arabs are descendants of Ishmael "Arabian literature has its own version of prehistoric times, but it is entirely legendary." (Encyclopedia Britannica, Vol. 2:176)

Myth of Muslim toleration

Monotheism existed in ancient times outside of Judaism: Pharaoh Akhenaton

Islam is not the fastest growing religion in the world.

The word "Islam" means "Submit", not Peace. Islam only brings peace to Muslims who blindly submit. To Christians, Islam means war, persecution and death.

Muslim unity? Ya Right! Muslims are divided into many splinter groups who kill each other. (Sunni and Shi'a sects)

Hubal and Allah the Moon God?

Islam: Truth or Myth? start page

Introduction to basic facts of history:

  1. Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia since 2000 BC. The crescent moon is the most common symbol of this pagan moon worship as far back as 2000 BC.
  2. In Mecca, there was a god named Hubal who was Lord of the Kabah.
  3. This Hubal was a moon god.
  4. One Muslim apologist confessed that the idol of moon god Hubal was placed upon the roof of the Kaba about 400 years before Muhammad. This may in fact be the origin of why the crescent moon is on top of every minaret at the Kaba today and the central symbol of Islam atop of every mosque throughout the world:
About four hundred years before the birth of Muhammad one Amr bin Lahyo ... a descendant of Qahtan and king of Hijaz, had put an idol called Hubal on the roof of the Kaba. This was one of the chief deities of the Quraish before Islam. (Muhammad The Holy Prophet, Hafiz Ghulam Sarwar (Pakistan), p 18-19, Muslim)
  5. The moon god was also referred to as "al-ilah". This is not a proper name of a single specific god, but a generic reference meaning "the god". Each local pagan Arab tribe would refer to their own local tribal pagan god as "al-ilah".
  6. "al-ilah" was later shortened to Allah before Muhammad began promoting his new religion in 610 AD.
  7. There is evidence that Hubal was referred to as "Allah".
  8. When Muhammad came along, he dropped all references to the name "Hubal" but retained the generic "Allah".
  9. Muhammad retained almost all the pagan rituals of the Arabs at the Kaba and redefined them in monotheistic terms.
  10. Regardless of the specifics of the facts, it is clear that Islam is derived from paganism that once worshiped a moon-god.
  11. Although Islam is today a monotheist religion, its roots are in paganism.

"Daughter-gate": Allah’s Daughters: el-Lat, el-Uzza, and Manat
Muslims today do not worship Allah's daughters and view them as pagan deities. Having said that, it is important to note that Muhammad himself commanded his followers offer prayers to these "Allah's daughters". He later retracted it and blamed it on the Devil. It is this true event in Muhammad's life which was the topic of Salman Rushdie's book, "The Satanic Verses." (a book we certainly do not recommend reading for its profanity and racism.)

The defrocked super goddesses of the 6th century AD!

It is clear, from a historical point of view, that Muhammad, as a youth participated in worshipping all the 360 pagan gods in the Kabah in Mecca owned and operated by the Quraish tribe to which Muhammad was member in good standing. As Muhammad grew up, he was influenced by Christians (monotheists) who condemned the polytheism at the Kabah. At some point in Muhammad’s life, he was convinced by the Christians that Polytheism was wrong and sought to reject the 360 pagan gods he had grown up with. Muhammad was converted to the concept of monotheism through the influence and teachings of Christians. However, being a proud "nationalistic cultural Arab", bent to preserve his traditions, Muhammad, decided to "reform" his native pagan religion, rather than adopt a completely different religion like Christianity. So Muhammad took the top pagan god of the Kabah in Mecca (called Hubal and/or Allah) and chose it to be his new monotheistic god. This god was already considered the top god among other gods at the Kabah. Muhammad’s strategy was simple. Rather than converting all the Arab people to the monotheism of Christianity, Muhammad merely banished the other 359 pagan gods and chose the one remaining to be the one and only god... what Muslims refer to today as "Allah". Thus Islam was born.

If Muhammad was trying to convert one of his fellow pagan Arabs to monotheism, the conversation probably went something like this: Muhammad: "You know, worshipping all these pagan gods is really silly. There must be a supreme god, a "THE GOD". (the god is what Allah actually means) We already refer to the chief or head of the Kabah as "Allah", lets continue to worship that god, but do away with all the others. I don’t want to discard the Allah, the Lord of the Kabah that we already worship, rather I only want to remove his wife and his daughters and all the other gods. And lets never refer to Allah again as "Hubal" or call him the moon god, because Allah, being our new monotheistic supreme god, created the moon.

We have identified many elements of pagan worship that Muhammad grafted directly into Islam virtually unchanged. The symbols, the temples and the rituals of modern Islam were practiced by polytheists before Muhammad was born. Islam is Repackaged Polytheism. "Polytheism with a monotheistic veil"

Muhammad and "Pharaoh Akhenaton the monotheist" (1379 BC). Like Akhenaton, Muhammad chose one god, from among hundreds of pagan gods, to be his one monotheistic god. Both merely repackaged polytheism and called it monotheism. We have identified 12 key similarities between the religious reforms of Akhenaton and Muhammad.

Library of Muslim scholars quotes on the pagan origin of Islam. We have collected quotes from 17 different practicing Muslim scholars that document the polytheistic origin of the symbols, rituals and temples of Islam. This is a must read for those Muslims that think Christians are misrepresenting the true history of Islam. These Muslims say that the ritual in Islam was corrupted from its purity and that Muhammad restored the religion practiced by Jesus and Abraham. We merely point out that this theory cannot be true, for there is only a pagan history to all the rituals and rites of Islam.

Practicing Muslim admit the following about the origins of Islam:

  1. That the Hajj (pilgrimage) was practiced by pagans and adopted "as is" into Islam.
  2. That moon worshipped was popular in pre-Islamic Arabia.
  3. Lat, Uzza and Manat were worshipped in pre-Islamic Arabia as the "daughters of Allah".
  4. The "daughters of Allah" were worshipped as goddesses at the Kaba in Mecca in pre-Islamic times.
  5. That Allah was worshipped by Muhammad’s Quraish tribe at the Kaba as the top ranking god among many lower polytheistic gods.
  6. That Muhammad’s Quraish tribe also believed in a top ranking moon god called Hubal that was distinguished from Allah.
  7. That Muhammad’s Quraish tribe had put an idol called Habal either on the roof of the Kaba or inside it, in pre-Islamic times.
  8. To our knowledge, no practicing Islamic scholar admits that Allah was worshipped as a moon god in pre-Islamic times.

History of the Kaba

All agree that the Koran instructs men to beat their wives in Qur'an 4:34
But you must beat her with a "miswak" (a small natural toothbrush)
Islam is split on the subject, those in Muslim controlled countries are more likely to endorse wife beating, while those living in the civilized world tend to say it is a symbolic stroke with a toothbrush. What we are pointing out here, is that the Koran, instructs men to beat their wives. Regardless of how you interpret this verse in "Allah’s holy book", we must say that such a verse is shocking and unprecedented in the Bible.

Islam: Truth or Myth? start page

Six translations of Qur'an 4:34 The "word of Allah" in the Koran is clear and unmistakable! Exactly mirroring all legal systems that administer increasingly harsher penalties for continued wrongdoing, the Koran says the Husband should first verbally admonish her, next ground her to the bedroom like a child, and finally when all else fails, to beat her. We must say that such a verse is shocking.

Documentation from Muslim scholars who specifically mention the toothbrush (miswak) We are not making up the "toothbrush". The idea originated with Islamic scholars who set the maximum size of the wife beating stick to be no larger than a "miswak" (a small natural toothbrush). Of course, this is only one of many interpretations of Koran 4:34. No Muslim denies that the Koran says a man can beat his wife, they merely argue among themselves as to how large the stick is. Some Islamic countries actually legislate the size of the stick!

What the Hadith says about wife beating . The hadith are Islamic historical documents, though not considered the word of Allah, are used by all Muslims as a reference for their religion. These Hadith give us glimpses of early Islamic life. They show us how women were thought of, and how they were treated. Later Islamic scholars were able to draw from these stories and develop an Islamic system of life. But, what the scholars, and Muslim leaders did was accurate, based upon the Hadith. If wives were beaten with Muhammad’s approval, then that practice should continue today.

Are women allowed to vote in Islam in those countries that are run by Shariah law? Well first, Shariah law is usually a dictatorship where NO ONE is allowed to vote! For example, Indonesia and Malaysia are both dictatorships. Egypt is a single party state backed by the military. Sudan held their first general elections in 1996 and woman are allowed to vote.

Muslims & Female circumcision! "Please honey, you won’t feel a thing... it will be over before you know it!" (Romantic Muslim in bed.)
Some Muslims Forbid Female drivers! The universal statistic of all insurance agencies the world over is that woman are much better drivers of automobiles than men.
No Muslim denies that when Muhammad was over 50 years old, when he
married a six year old girl named Aishah and "knew her" at age 9.

Islam: Meteorite Worship of the black stone
Islam’s meteorite that they circle at the Kaba is like the Meteorite of Acts 19:23-36, six hundred years earlier. It seems pagans would think the meteor was a god and start worshipping it.

"But when they recognized that he was a Jew, a single outcry arose from them all as they shouted for about two hours, "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!" After quieting the crowd, the town clerk said, "Men of Ephesus, what man is there after all who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is guardian of the temple of the great Artemis and of the image which fell down from heaven? [ie. a meteor] "So, since these are undeniable facts, you ought to keep calm and to do nothing rash."

Why Muslims pray five times a day.

The 5 Pillars of Islam

Islamic calendar

If I told you Christmas was celebrated by the apostles, you would chide me. Yet Islam teaches that Abraham made the pilgrimage and circled the Kaba with the black stone in it.

Pagan Origin

Ritual retained, meaning redefined. Paganism spiritualized into monotheism:

Christmas

December 25 was the birthday of the Pagan Mythra, the god of light.

Christians practice the pagan festival but redefined Dec 25 as the birthday of Christ.

Pilgrimage and Circling Kaba 7x

Each local tribe of Arab pagans walked 7 times around their own kaba that housed their own black stone.

Muslims circle the Kaba, claiming Abraham did such.

Kissing black stone

Each local tribe of Arab Pagans kissed their own tribal black stones.

Muslims kiss black stone but say it was a divine meteorite that fell at Adam’s feet and was rediscovered by Abraham.

"The stone throw" at Mina

Wide spread custom among Pagan Arabs.

Muslims claim the custom was started by Abraham when he threw stones at the devil.

"The Run": Safa and Marwa

Pagans ran between two idols, Isaf and Na’ila:

Muslims perform the same running but redefine the meaning to be Hagar running between hills, looking for water for Ishmael.

"The Praise" after Pilgrimage

Pagans praised dead ancestors

Muslims perform the same praising but redirect the praise to Allah, and with more zeal!

Ibn al Kelbi reports that Manat was a large stone in the territory of the Hudhail tribe, that Allat was a rectangular stone upon which a Jew used to grind wheat, and that Sa'd was a high block of stone in the desert. In some cases the divinity was identified with a particular part of the natural rock. Al-Fals was a reddish projection, resembling a man, on an otherwise black mountain. But specially erected stones might also serve as the dwelling-places of the divinity or the seats of his power. The most famous of all of the stone fetishes of Arabia was, of course, the black stone in the sanctuary of Mecca. The Ka'ba was, and still is, a rectangular stone structure. Built into its Eastern corner is the black stone which had been an object of worship for many centuries before Mohammed appropriated the Ka'ba for his new religion, and made the pilgrimage to this holy place one of the pillars of Islam. (Mohammed: The man and his faith, Tor Andrae, 1936, Translated by Theophil Menzel, 1960, p13-30)

Muslims believe (without proof) that the revered "black stone" (Alhajar Al-Aswad) is a special divine meteorite, that pre-dates creation that fell at the foot of Adam and Eve. It is presently embedded in the southeastern corner of the Kaba. Muslims touch and kiss the black stone during Hajj but non-Muslims are strictly forbidden to even touch it.

The stone has been attacked many times and is now composed of several pieces and fragments, bound together by a silver ligature. It is semicircular and measures about ten inches horizontally and twelve inches vertically. Here a woman and her husband touch the stone.

The pagan Ka'bah, which became the Palladium of Islam, was an unpretentious cube-like (hence the name) building of primitive simplicity, originally roofless, serving as a shelter for a black meteorite which was venerated as a fetish. At the birth of Islam the structure was that rebuilt in 608 probably by an Abyssinian from the wreckage of a Byzantine or Abyssinian ship destroyed on the shore of the Red Sea. Quotes and notes:

  1. The kiss which the pious Muhammadan pilgrim bestows on it is a survival of the old practice, which was a form of worship in Arabia as in many other lands. (The Original Sources of the Qur'an, Tisdall, p. 43).
  2. Of the numerous baetyls, the best known is the Black Stone of the Ka'bah at Mecca, which became the central shrine object of Islam. (Britannica, Arabian Religions, p1059, 1979)
  3. Narrated Salim that his father said: I saw Allah's Apostle arriving at Mecca; he kissed the Black Stone Corner first while doing Tawaf and did ramal in the first three rounds of the seven rounds (of Tawaf). (Sahih al-Bukhari 2:673)
  4. Narrated 'Abis bin Rabia: 'Umar came near the Black Stone and kissed it and said "No doubt, I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit anyone nor harm anyone. Had I not seen Allah's Apostle kissing you I would not have kissed you." (Sahih al-Bukhari 2:667, 675, 676, 679, 680)
  1. This was like a small house, in the shape of a square box, called the Kaba, which means the cube. The object of especial veneration was a black stone, of meteoric origin, which may have been the cornerstone. Stones of this kind were worshipped by Arabs in most parts and by the Semitic races generally. When the young Syrian Arab Elagabalus, High Priest of the Black Stone of Emesa, was Emperor of Rome in 219, he had the holy thing transported solemnly to Rome and built a temple for it, much to the horror of the old Romans. (Mohammed, Maxime Rodinson, 1961, translated by Anne Carter, 1971, p 38-49)
  2. A celestial Black Stone, brought to Abraham by an angel and now thought to be a meteorite, is built into the southeast corner of the Kaaba; Muslims today kiss the stone as the Prophet used to do. (The Joy of Sects, Peter Occhigrosso, 1996, p394-397)
  3. The pagan Arabs practiced polytheism. They worshipped nature, stones. angels and demons. Particular reverence was accorded the three 'daughters of God', and various national, local and family idols. Each tribe gave allegiance to a special protector: one god to whom it turned in time of distress. Our modern altars may have had their beginnings in the stone worship of the ancients. One stone still holds a revered spot in the Arab heart. This is the stone that fell from paradise at the fall of Adam. Pure white it was and housed in a temple built by Seth, Adam's son, until a great flood ravaged the land, destroyed the temple, and buried it under the mud and debris. Tradition relates that the stone remained hidden until Abraham sent his wife Hagar into the desert with their infant son Ishmael. One day, weakened by thirst, Hagar laid her baby on the sand to rest. His fitful thrashings uncovered a spring of clear water near the site of the lost relic. It is told that an angel descended from heaven and helped recover the sacred stone and that Ishmael rebuilt the holy house of Seth with the assistance of Abraham and the archangel Gabriel. This, in brief, is the story of the Kaaba,' holiest building in Islam. (Islam and the Arabs, Rom Landau, 1958 p 11-21)
  4. One aspect of the worship of the pre-Islamic Arabs that attracted the attention not only of Greek and Latin authors who came in contact with Arab society but also of later Muslim authorities on the Age of Barbarism was a widespread cult of stones. For both sets of observers it seemed odd to venerate stones, whether they were totally unshaped or fashioned into some kind of very rudimentary idol. It was not, of course, the stones that were being worshiped but an animated spirit within them. (The Hajj, F. E. Peters, p 3-41, 1994)
  5. Doubtless the more simple believed the block of stone to contain magic powers, while the more sophisticated worshippers prayed to the invisible spirit, which perhaps dwelt in the tree or stone. Certainly many Arabs believed that a blessing could be obtained by kissing, touching, or rubbing a sacred object. (The Life and Times of Muhammad, John Bagot Glubb, 1970)
  6. In Mecca, Allah was worshiped in the Ka'bah and possibly represented by the famous Black Stone in that place. (The Archeology Of World Religions, Jack Finegan, 1952, p482-485, 492)
  7. "That Islam was conceived in idolatry is shown by the fact that many rituals performed in the name of Allah were connected with the pagan worship that existed before Islam. ... Because the Ka’aba, the sacred shrine which contains the Black Stone, in Mecca was used for pagan idol worship before Islam and even called the House of Allah at that time. (Is Allah The Same God As The God Of The Bible?, M. J. Afshari, p 6, 8-9)
  8. In particular the Semites regarded trees, caves, springs, and large stones as being inhabited by spirits; like the Black Stone of Islam in a corner of the Ka’bah at Mecca, in Petra and other places in Arabia stones were venerated also" (History of the Islamic Peoples, Carl Brockelmann, p 8-10)
  9. "According to a theory held by many, this temple [Kabah] had been sourceally connected with the ancient worship of the sun, moon and stars, and its circumambulation by the worshippers had a symbolical reference to the rotation of the heavenly bodies. Within its precincts and in its neighborhood there were found many idols, such as Hubal, Lat, Ozza, Manah, Wadd, Sawa, Yaghut, Nasr, Isaf, Naila, etc. A black stone in the temple wall was regarded with superstitious awe as eminently sacred" (Muhammad and Muhammadanism, S.W. Koelle, 1889, p. 17-19)
  10. The god Il or Ilah was originally a phase of the Moon God, but early in Arabian history the name became a general term for god, and it was this name that the Hebrews used prominently in their personal names, such as Emanuel, Israel, etc., rather than the Bapal of the northern semites proper, which was the Sun. Similarly, under Mohammed's tutelage, the relatively anonymous Ilah became Al-Ilah, The God, or Allâh, the Supreme Being. (Southern Arabia, Carleton S. Coon, Washington, D.C. Smithsonian, 1944, p.399)
  11. "Before Muhammad appeared, the Kaaba was surrounded by 360 idols, and every Arab house had its god. Arabs also believed in jinn (subtle beings), and some vague divinity with many offspring. Among the major deities of the pre-Islamic era were al-Lat ("the Goddess"), worshiped in the shape of a square stone; al-Uzzah ("the Mighty"), a goddess identified with the morning star and worshiped as a thigh-bone-shaped slab of granite between al Talf and Mecca; Manat, the goddess of destiny, worshiped as a black stone on the road between Mecca and Medina; and the moon god, Hubal, whose worship was connected with the Black Stone of the Kaaba. The stones were said to have fallen from the sun, moon, stars, and planets and to represent cosmic forces. The so-called Black Stone (actually the color of burnt umber) that Muslims revere today is the same one that their forebears had worshiped well before Muhammad and that they believed had come from the moon. (No scientific investigation has ever been performed on the stone. In 930, the stone was removed and shattered by an Iraqi sect of Qarmatians, but the pieces were later returned. The pieces, sealed in pitch and held in place by silver wire, measure about 10 inches in diameter altogether and several feet high; they are venerated today in patched-together form.)" (The Joy of Sects, Peter Occhigrosso, 1996)
  12. At Mekka, Allah was the chief of the gods and the special deity of the Quraish, the prophet’s tribe. Allah had three daughters: Al Uzzah (Venus) most revered of all and pleased with human sacrifice; Manah, the goddess of destiny, and Al Lat, the goddess of vegetable life. Hubal and more than 300 others made up the pantheon. The central shrine at Mekka was the Kaaba, a cube like stone structure which still stands though many times rebuilt. Imbedded in one corner is the black stone, probably a meteorite, the kissing of which is now an essential part of the pilgrimage." (Meet the Arab, John Van Ess, 1943, p. 29.)
  13. Religious objects, practices, and institutions. Sacred stones. A principal sacred object in Arabian religion was the stone, either a rock outcropping or a large boulder, often a rectangular or irregular black basaltic stone without representative sculptural detail. Such stones were thought to be the residences of a god-hence the term for them employed by Byzantine Christian writers in the 5th and 6th centuries: baetyl, from bet 'el, "house of the god." Of the numerous baetyls, the best known is the Black Stone of the Ka'bah at Mecca, which became the central shrine object of Islam. (Britannica, Arabian Religions, p1059, 1979)
  14. According to some, it was an elementary form of fetishism, the worship of stones and similar objects; already certain Greek writers had pointed out that Arabs worshipped stones. (Studies on Islam, edited by Merlin L. Swartz, Pre-Islamic Bedouin Religion, by Joseph Henninger, 1981, p 3-22)
  15. One detail which already impressed the Greek authors was the role played by sacred Stones, 52 a phenomenon that they interpreted as a worship of raw and unpolished stones, that is to say, fetishism, regarded as the oldest and crudest form of religion. However, the scientific study of religion has long since rejected the theory that accorded to fetishism such a place of honor. In fact what is customarily called fetishism is not an independent phenomenon. The material object is not venerated for itself but rather as the dwelling of either a personal being (god, spirit) or a force (Studies on Islam, edited by Merlin L. Swartz, Pre-Islamic Bedouin Religion, by Joseph Henninger, 1981, p 3-22)
  16. "Embedded in the corner of the structure is the Black Stone, a meteorite used by Abraham as a foundation stone. This stone, although respected as the only surviving object from the original building, has never been worshipped and has no special sanctity or power." (Makkah And The Holy Mosque, Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, Washington DC, website)
  17. "The rites and ceremonies connected with the Hajj and Umrah are exceedingly puerile, and decidedly inconsistent with the spirit of Islam The idolatrous customs of the ancient Arabs, though sanctified by the teaching of the Qur’an and the example of' Muhammad, but poorly comport with the monotheistic teaching of the reformer of Makkah, and come far short of "confirming the former Scriptures." Its sanction by Muhammad is one of the darkest plots on his religion, and shows at the same time how far the politician of Madina differed from the preacher of Makkah. How his apologists fail to see the inconsistency of his conduct and teaching here, not only with the dignity of a prophet of God, but with the character of an honest man, is beyond our comprehension. The kissing of the Black Stone and the Yamani Pillar was so manifestly inconsistent with the doctrine of Islam, that naught but the example of the prophet and the implicit obedience of his followers secured its perpetuation. The fiery Omar, kissing the stone, said, "Verily I know that thou art a stone; thou dost no good or harm in the world, and if it was not that 1 saw the prophet kiss thee, I would not kiss thee." (Mishqat ul Masabih, Matthews, book 11. chapter 4, part 3)
  18. At some point on the road to Mecca the pilgrims will be stopped at a police checkpoint to have their passports examined. For them, this, and not the Saudi entry-point, is the real frontier, for it marks the boundary of the holy territory which no non-Muslim may enter. The Saudi consulates in their home countries will have issued them with special pilgrim visas, only granted against proof of Muslim birth or conversion. In the past, people suspected of being Christians or members of extremist sects outside the Islamic consensus have been done to death for entering the holy places. (Islam in the World, Malise Ruthven, 1984, p 28-48)
  19. Each pilgrim makes the tawaf or ritual circumambulation of the Ka'ba, a ceremony that has changed little, if at all, since pre-Islamic times. He will make seven circuits of the building, in an anti-clockwise movement, during which he will try to kiss, touch or otherwise greet the famous Black Stone which is set in a silver casing in the eastern corner. Muslims are taught that this is a fragment of the original temple, for the Ka'ba is said to have been rebuilt several times, before, during and after the Prophet's lifetime. (Islam in the World, Malise Ruthven, 1984, p 28-48)
  20. Another clue to the origins of the cult is the fact that although the Black Stone was venerated as a fetish, it was not directly associated with any particular deity. There seems to have been a general cult of stone-worship in the peninsula. The early Muslim sources suggest that it developed in imitation of the cult of the Ka'ba: They say that the beginning of stone worship among the sons of Ishmael was when Mecca became too small for them and they wanted more room in the country. Everyone who left the town took with him a stone from the haram area to do honour to it. Wherever they settled they set it up and walked round it as if going round the Ka'ba. This led them to worship whatever stones pleased them or made an impression on them. (Islam in the World, Malise Ruthven, 1984, p 28-48)
  21. In the Hebrew tradition the stone 'pillow' on which Jacob, son of Isaac, had his dream of the heavenly ladder becomes the cornerstone of the Temple, the pivot on which the whole world is balanced. The first ray of light which illuminated the whole world issued from it; it is said to have come down from heaven, being one of the few objects of heavenly origin on earth. There are very similar traditions about both the Black Stone and the stone known as the 'place of Ibrahim'. One of the commonest traditions about the Black Stone is that it once shone so brightly that if God had not effaced it, it would have illuminated everything between the east and the west. In Muslim tradition the stone's blackness is attributed to its pollution by human sin, or by the various fires which have engulfed the Ka'ba. (Islam in the World, Malise Ruthven, 1984, p 28-48)
  22. Sir Richard Burton, who made the pilgrimage in disguise in 1853, have suggested that the Black Stone is really a meteorite. Could this have been the 'Star' originally worshipped by Ibrahim? What more natural object of adoration than a fragment fallen from outer space, which may once have lit up the sky with a trail of blazing particles? Such a possibility is strongly suggested by the Quranic account of Ibrahim's spiritual progress from the worship of the stars to that of the one Creator. In ritualistically imitating the primal motion of all heavenly bodies, around a temple incorporating an extra-terrestrial object, the Muslim, like Ibrahim, is expressing his allegiance as a subject of a universal cosmic order. (Islam in the World, Malise Ruthven, 1984, p 28-48)
  23. At the south-east corner of the Ka'bah, near the door, is the famous black stone, which forms a part of the sharp angle of the building, at four or five feet above the ground. The black stone is an irregular oval. about seven inches in diameter, with an undulating surface, composed of about a dozen smaller storm of different shapes and sizes. It is surrounded on all sides by a border of reddish brown cement, both the stone and the border being encircled by a band of a massive arch of gold or silver gilt, the aperture of the stone being one span and three fingers broad. In the corner facing the south, there is another stone about five, set from the ground. It is one foot and a half in length, and two inches in breadth, placed upright, and of common Makkan stone. According to the rites of the pilgrimage, this stone; which is called ar-Ruknu ‘l-Yamani, or Yaman pillar, should only be touched with ,the right hand as the pilgrim passes it, but Captain Burton says he frequently saw it kissed by the pilgrims. (A Dictionary Of Islam, Thomas Patrick Hughes, 1965, Kaba, p 256)

Myth of Muslim toleration Don’t be fooled by the "tolerant" face of Muslims you meet in the civilized world today. Islam has historically developed in four stages: 1. Evangelism. 2. Consolidation of power. 3. Revolution 4. Islamic State. Muslims would love to see Canada and the USA become Islamic states but are only at stage one: Evangelism!  Many Muslims rejoiced when terrorists struck New York City on September 11, 2001. A disturbingly large number of Muslims rejoiced at the news of 9/11. Men handing out free food and making the victory sign, women dancing and howling, children laughing, while the west angrily watched them in horrified disbelief.

The two Islams: The peaceful Islam of the west, George Bush talked about and the militant Islam in the developing world.

Muslim School children in Toronto Canada are taught, "Lessons in Hate". The mass-produced connect-the-dot drawings, apparently used for a colouring exercise, depict a shark-toothed Israeli jet festooned with the Star of David carpet-bombing a Palestinian village. Accompanying Arabic captions read "Allah is great over Israel" and "Our schools, buildings and gardens are being destroyed:" more

Origins and beliefs of The Nation of Islam. Most Muslims agree with Christians it is an ugly, racist black eye for Islam. This organization is on the extreme fringe is Islam and advocates that the Negro race is the supreme race. A kind of reverse twist on the Nazi white supremacist movement or the Klu Klux Clan. Louis Farrakhan is the current head.

Earliest complete manuscript of Koran is 200 AH or 800AD! There are no ancient copies of the Koran dating before 750 AD in museums. We challenge you to prove us wrong! Send us the name, locate and date of the Koran written earlier. Email Brother Andrew and he will forward it to the Webmaster of www.bible.ca

Biblical and Modern History of Iraq. Saddam Hussein is a terrorist whose country has a long history of being associated with evil.

Qur'an is different than what Muhammad delivered. The Hadith tells us how the stories in the Koran came to be in one book. Large differences were noticed, so a final version was edited, released to the world and all completing copies were ordered destroyed. There you have the "miracle" of the Koran!

Does the Koran teach reverse evolution? Of course not! For example: The Koran says men were turned into apes because they broke the Sabbath. This was a popular legend in Muhammad's day (Suras 2:65; 7:163-166).

Koran is literally a book of fairy tales. No kidding! The Qur'an is a revised counterfeit of 6th century polytheism, composed of previously existing pagan beliefs, practices and fairy tales.

The 20 Versions of the Qur’an today. (7 are recorded in the Hadith) Muslims believe that the Koran used today is identical to what was used 1400 years ago. Depending on the local sect in the world today, Muslims use up to 20 different versions of the Koran.

The Koran and the earliest Muslims did not believe the Bible was corrupted. Muslims may be surprised to learn that, contrary to popular belief, the Koran actually says nothing about the corruption of the Bible. It may also surprise Muslims that historically, the first Muslim to trash the Bible was Ibn-Khazem, in 1064 AD.

Theological and historical errors in the Qur’an

Muhammad is not prophesied in the Bible as Muslims claim.

Muslims believe there is a literal copy of the Qur'an in the presence of Allah. They call it the "Mother of the book." Further, it is claimed that the Koran was written by God before the creation of the world.

Allah is never found in the Bible. The Muslim word for God is "Allah". The fact that Allah is Arabic specific has been a real problem for Muslims to explain. After all, why would Allah, never reveal himself to anyone in the Bible? Abraham never heard God call himself Allah! So in desperation, Muslims actually try to find the word Allah in the Bible. Brace yourself for this, it doesn’t get more ridiculous than this!

The Original Sources Of The Qur'an By W. St. Clair Tisdall, M.A., D.D

There are not 50,000 errors in a Bible, as Jehovah’s Witnesses claim!

Muslims argue the Bible is corrupted and undependable.

The charge of 101 contradictions, by Muslim apologist, Shabbir Ally refuted!

Things found in Christ, not found in Islam: One simple but effective way of explaining the difference between a major "world" religion and the gospel of Christ (the New Testament, Matt. 26:28) is to show the things found "in Christ" that are not found elsewhere. The following are things found in Jesus Christ that are not found in Islam.

The Hadith of Islam: The Muslim Hadith is to the Koran, what an engine is to a body of a car. Without the Hadith, the Koran simply won’t drive by itself!

Jesus Christ is superior to Muhammad.

The Bible is superior to the Qur’an.

Quick Notes and quotes about the Qur’an

  1. If it is true, as we are often told, that Christianity is Christ, there is also a sense in which it is true that Islam is Muhammad. It was from his preaching in seventh-century Arabia that the religion got its start. Its Scripture, the Qur'an, bears the impress of his mind, with its enthusiasms and its limitations, from the first page to the last. The sunna enshrined in the corpus of Traditions, both canonical and uncanonical, is from one point of view nothing more than an attempt to get Muhammad's personal authority as backing for every detail of public or private conduct. In this sense it is an attempt to provide the faithful Muslim with material for an imitatio Muhammedis more far-reaching in its consequences than any imitatio Christi has ever been. (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 3-4)
  2. The Qur'an is the scripture of Islam. It is called the Noble Qur'an, the Glorious Qur'an, the Mighty Qur'an, but never the Holy Qur'an save by modern, Western-educated Muslims who are imitating the title Holy Bible. (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 47-48)
  3. It is clear that he had been preparing a book for his community which would be for them what the Old Testament was for the Jews and the New Testament for the Christians, but he died before his book was ready, and what we have in the Qur'an is what his followers were able to gather together after his death and issue as the corpus of his "revelations." Orthodox Muslim theory, however, holds that, this. material was all there just as we have it today, in a heavenly archetype, whence it was revealed by Gabriel to Muhammad bit by bit as circumstances warranted, was written down by scribes as it was proclaimed by Muhammad, was collated by him and Gabriel with the heavenly original, and was all ready for publication by the Prophet's successors at his death. In style it is in rhymed prose, closely resembling the form in which the pre-Islamic soothsayers of Arabia set forth their pronouncements. Its present arrangement is doubtless that given it by the committee appointed by the third caliph, `Uthman, to issue an official recension of the text. (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 47-48)
  4. The arrangement is clearly haphazard, though some modern Muslim writers make fantastic attempts to show a purposeful arrangement of, the material in the Suras. Since the Prophet's style of utterance changed markedly as he moved from period to period of his mission, it has been customary since the days of Weil 1 and Noldeke 2 to class material in four periods: I. Early Meccan; 11. Middle Meccan; 111. Late Meccan; IV. Madinan. (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 47-48)
  5. In English the above mentioned translation by Bell is by far the best for serious study, though for the general reader perhaps the most convenient is Rodwell's translation (available in Everyman's Library). Arberry's translation, in two volumes (London, 1955), makes an attempt to preserve the stylistic, rhythmic units of the original. The translations by Marmaduke Pickthall, by N. J. Dawood, and by the Indian Muslims Muhammad `Ali and Yasuf `Ali are not recommended. (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 47-48)
  6.  Is only the Arabic version of the Koran God’s word? Muslims claim that only the original Arabic version of the Koran is God’s inspired word. English versions cannot give you the true meaning of the Koran. Of course, such is false since the Bible is the most translated book on earth and the message is virtually identical in every language. Why then do Muslims claim only the Arabic version is the true word of God? Well to begin with, ignorance of what translation is. Next, perhaps Muslims realize that information is the enemy of Islam and the more Muslims can control their own information, the less outsiders can influence them for truth. You see if you must be able to read Arabic to know the true Koran, then when English speaking Christians point out various things in the Koran that Muslims don’t like, the reply is, "you can’t even read the original". The truth is that Muslims want to have their cake and eat it too! They want the English speaking world to rely on Arabs to tell them exactly what the Koran says.
  7.  I find it frustrating, that every version of the Koran has a different numbering system. Muslim would do the world favor to standardize the numbering system of the Koran. Looking up a verse in the Koran is like buying a dress for your wife in a ladies fashion store where size 8 is never size 8. Imagine a minister quotes a single Bible passage and the people the pews turn to 5 different passages.
  8.  Muslims do tend to be believers world scale conspiracies they just mistrust the media and reject all Earth history to a surprise us that the biggest conspiracy at all the biggest conspiracy of all is the information control the Muslims exercise on themselves in the myth of the perfect Koran.
  9. Early memorization of the Koran ensured its preservation? In the Buchari Hadith, Abu Bakr is said to gather the Koran from "parchments, scapula (bones), leafstalks of date palms and from the memories of men". Of course, if the Koran was really memorized front to back as Muslims claim, there would be no need to check with "parchments, scapula (bones) and leafstalks". Think about it a minute. If there really were many men who had memorized the whole Koran as we know it today, the tiny chunks of text found on paper, bones and leaves would be of no value.

Judas Iscariot is not the Saviour of Christians!

Islam vs. Christianity:

"Islam is a religion in which God requires you to send your son to die for him."
"Christianity is a faith in which God sent his Son to die for you."

"This point is of special concern to Christians, since the Qur'an denies the bare fact of the death of Jesus on the cross, and Muslims still consider that this denial outweighs the contrary testimony of historical tradition." (Muhammad: Prophet and Statesman, W. Montgomery Watt, 1961, p229-235)

"they did not slay him, neither crucified him, only a likeness of that was shown to them" (Qur'an 4:156)

See also: 32 reasons why the Gospel of Barnabas is a 16th century forgery.

Muslims teach that Judas, not Jesus, was crucified on the cross, in a case of mistaken identity. Muslims teach that Judas Iscariot, the betrayer and thief, is the real saviour of Christians. Muslims teach that it was actually Judas who actually died on the cross and because Judas had a similar physical appearance to Jesus even his own mother didn't recognize him as the wept at the foot of the cross. For 600 years Christians had been preaching Christ crucified. Then Muhammad comes along, jumps off his camel and gets a direct revelation from God that the universal record of history and the 10,000 manuscripts of the Bible, are all wrong. The idea that Judas was crucified instead of Christ, is so outrageous, no educated person would consider it. Even atheists, modernists and Bible haters who reject the resurrection of Christ consider Muhammad’s story of the cross nothing other than a myth and contrary to the undisputed facts of history.

"John Subhan had been a Sufi Muslim preparing for the priesthood. In school, it was common to hear his instructors attack Christianity. But one day while Subhan was walking home from class, he noticed a scrap of paper tossed by the wind across his path. It turned out to be a page from Matthew's Gospel, describing the crucifixion and death of Christ. "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?" He read the words over and over again. Now this astonished Subhan. He had been taught that Jesus Christ had not really been crucified but that Christ's likeness had fallen on Judas. It was Judas who had hung on that cross, not Jesus. Christ had ascended to Heaven before the crucifixion." (More to be Desired than Gold, True Stories Told by Christy Wilson, pp. 20-21, 1992)

Documentation section:

Muslims, quote atheists, modernists and Bible haters like Winwond Reade and Arthur Weigall, to trash all of Christianity. Yet amazingly, although Weigall does trash all of Christianity and even rejects the doctrine of Christ's blood atonement as a pagan doctrine, he does believe that the crucifixion was an historic fact... Just not for the same reasons that Christian's believe he was crucified.

  • This leaves no doubt at all in our minds regarding the sources of all Christian doctrine: "Christianity had conquered paganism, and paganism had corrupted Christianity. The legends which belonged to Osiris and Apollo had been applied to the life of Jesus. The single Deity of the Jews had been exchanged for the Trinity which the Egyptians had invented and which Plato had idealized into a philosophic system, [and which had existed in Brahminism, too]. The man who had said "Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God' had now himself been made a god or the third part of one." (, Philosopher and historian, The Martyrdom of Man, p 183-84, quoted by Ulfat 'Aziz as-Samed, Peshaver University, Muslim, "A Comparative Study of Christianity and Islam", The Source of Christian Creeds, 1976, Pakistan, Quoted by Muslims)

Yet both Read and Weigall believe the crucifixion of Christ to be an historical fact:

  • Read where Weigall talks about the crucifixion of Jesus as Jewish human sacrifice in his book, The Paganism in Our Christianity, Arthur Weigall, 1928, p69,76)
  • "At Jerusalem Jesus completely failed" (Winwond Reade, Philosopher and historian, The Martyrdom of Man, p 182-84)

Muslims Reject the Trinity and the Deity of Christ:

  • "O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs." (Koran, Surah 4:171, Women, actually quoted by JW's)
  • "Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one God, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve." Koran, Sura 5:73, food)

Muslims reject ANY pre-existence of Jesus:

  • The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. (Koran, Surah 3:59, never quoted by JW's who reject the Koran when it states Jesus had no pre-existence)

Muslims reject the concept of Sonship of Christ:

  • "And they say: The Beneficent God has taken (to Himself) a son. Certainly you have made an abominable assertion The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. And it is not worthy of the Beneficent God that He should take (to Himself) a son. There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent God as a servant. Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. (Koran, Surah 19:88-95, never quoted by JW's or Arians)
  • "Regarding Sonship of Jesus: That is Jesus, son of Mary, in word of truth, concerning which they are doubting. It is not for God to take a son unto Him. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing, He but says to it " Be" , and it is. (Qur'an 19:34,35) And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son.' You have indeed advanced something hideous. The heavens are well nigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains well nigh fall down crashing for that they have attributed to the All-Merciful a son; and it behoves not the All-Merciful to take a son. None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-Merciful as a servant. (Qur'an 19:88-93) Truly the likeness of Jesus, in God's sight, is as Adam's likeness; He created him of dust, then said He unto him, " Be" , and he was. (Qur'an 3:59) People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the Truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, 'Three', Refrain, better is it for you. God is only One God. Glory be to Him - that He should have a son! To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth, God suffices for a guardian." (Qur'an 4:171) (The Institute of Islamic Information and Education)

Muslims Reject that Jesus died and His resurrection:

  • That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. (Qur’an 4:157, never quoted by Jehovah’s Witnesses or Arians who quote other Koranic passages to trash the trinity)
  • "Regarding Crucifixion of Jesus: And for their unbelief, and their uttering against Mary a mighty calumny, and for their saying, 'We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of God'...yet they did not slay him, neither crucified him, only a likeness of that was shown to them. Those who are at variance concerning him surely are in doubt regarding him, they have no knowledge of him, except the following of surmise; and they did not slay him of certainty... no indeed; God raised him up to Him; God is Almighty, All-Wise. There is not one of the people of the Book [Bible] but will assuredly believe in him before his death, and on the Resurrection Day [at the end of time] he will be a witness against them." (Qur'an 4:156-159, never quoted by Jehovah’s Witnesses or Arians who quote other Koranic passages to trash the trinity)

Muslims believe the faked, Gospel of Barnabas that Judas was crucified being mistaken for Jesus and that Jesus lived to old age:

Click here for a full discussion about how the Gospel of Barnabas is a 16th century forgery.

"Accordingly they led Judas to Herod, who of a long time had desired that Jesus should go to his house. ... Now when Judas had been led thither, Herod asked him of many things, to which Judas gave answers not to the purpose, denying that he was Jesus. ... Then Herod mocked him, with all his court, and caused him to be clad in white as the fools are clad, and sent him back to Pilate ... Thereupon, in mockery they clad him [Judas] in an old purple garment, saying: 'It is fitting to our new king to clothe him and crown him': so they gathered thorns and made a crown, like those of gold and precious stones which kings wear on their heads. And this crown of thorns they placed upon Judas' head, putting in his hand a reed for sceptre, and they made him sit in a high place. And the soldiers came before him, bowing down in mockery, saluting him as King of the Jews. And they held out their hands to receive gifts, such as new kings are accustomed to give ; and receiving nothing they smote Judas, saying: 'Now, how art thou crowned, foolish king, if thou wilt not pay thy soldiers and servants?' ... Verily I say that the voice, the face, and the person of Judas were so like to Jesus, that his disciples and believers entirely believed that be was Jesus ... Jesus replied, embracing his mother: 'Believe me, mother, for verily I say to thee that I have not been dead at all ; for God hath reserved me till near the end of the world.' ... And though I have been innocent in the world, since men have called me "God," and "Son of God," God, in order that I be not mocked of the demons on the day of judgement, hath willed that I be mocked of men in this world by the death of Judas, making all men to believe that I died upon the cross. And this mocking shall continue until the advent of Muhammad, the messenger of God, who, when he shall come, shall reveal this deception to those who believe in God's law. ... And he reproved many who believed him to have died and risen again, saying: 'Do ye then hold me and God for liars? for God hath granted to me to live almost unto the end of the world, even as I said unto you. Verily I say unto you, I died not, but Judas the traitor. Beware, for Satan will make every effort to deceive you. ... Then before their eyes the four angels carried him up into heaven." 60 Questions Muslims Don’t Like To Be Asked!
(Asking Questions of Information Control Cults like Muslims)

What makes Abu get mad?

(keep reading to find out)

Islam: Truth or Myth? start page

Asking Questions of Information Control Cults.

The Islamic religion is an information control cult, like Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses and International Churches of Christ. Information control cults usually have cute terms to describe materials that are hostile to their religion. The buzzword for Catholics is "Protestant teaching". The buzzword for Jehovah’s Witnesses is "Babylon teaching" or "apostate materials" and for ICOC, the term is "spiritual pornography". You will notice that each of the cults below make statements that are basically identical. All false religions react negatively when basic common sense questions are asked of them and Islam is no exception.

Cult

How they view questioning of their religion:

Jehovah’s Witnesses

1983 "Avoid independent thinking...questioning the counsel that is provided by God's visible organization." (Watchtower, Jan. 15, 1983 pg. 22)

"Have No Dealings With Apostates, ... For example, what will you do if you receive a letter or some literature, open it, and see right away that it is from an apostate? Will curiosity cause you to read it, just to see what he has to say? You may even reason: `It won't affect me; I'm too strong in the truth. And besides, if we have the truth, we have nothing to fear. The truth will stand the test.' In thinking this way, some have fed their minds upon apostate reasoning and have fallen prey to serious questioning and doubt." (Watchtower, March 15, 1986 p12)

International Church of Christ

(ICOC)

"Even ‘spiritual pornography’ has found its way onto the information superhighway. Instead of building lives for God, enemies of the church and disgruntled former members are uniting to attack the Kingdom and destroy people's faith. They present their ‘facts’ and their ‘stories’ in such a way as to picture the church as an abusive, authoritative, greedy and evil cult. Of course, the danger in reading such material is that only one side is presented in personal stories of hurt, and no way exists to ever learn the other side." (Al Baird, World Sector Leader, You’ve Got Mail, kingdomnewsnet.org, May 25, 1999)

"You know, there is a proliferation – literally, throughout the world – of not only anti-cult material – little packets, but booklets, books, videos. Preston Shepherd calls this stuff ‘spiritual pornography’…. Some people say, ‘Well, hold it. If you're strong enough – if there isn't anything wrong in this stuff, then why shouldn't I read these anti-Boston materials?’ Well, let me ask you this: you've been a Christian for a while, and prayerfully you're strong in the Lord. Why can't you just open a Playboy and just see how it goes? Let me tell you something – I've been a Christian for 17 years, I don't dare get close to one. And you shouldn't get close to that spiritual pornography, the thing that's driving you there is curiosity, that is Satan – get it out of the house." (Kip McKean, World leader, They Hated the Dreamer, August 25, 1989)

Islam

"O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith." (Surah 5:101-102).

"The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions ...so do not try to probe into such things." (The Meaning of the Qur'an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-77)

"The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91) "Allah has hated you...[for] asking too many questions." (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591, Bukhari's Hadith commenting on Muhammad’s reaction to hostile questioners.)

Islam is an information control cult!

Although in the civilized world, Islam cannot enable their information control as they do in Muslim controlled countries, there is still significant misinformation that Muslims believe about the Bible and Christianity. As you can see from the three quotes above, Muslims are forbidden to question Islamic faith, and are expected to accept its truthfulness blindly without investigation. Muhammad understood that information was the main enemy of his newly invented religion. In many Muslim controlled nations, for example, young men are paid to learn NOTHING but the Koran to the exclusion of science and history and current world events. They are told this is all they need, but in reality they are brainwashed and basic world information is deliberately withheld from them.

Although Muslims in the civilized world will claim Islam is an open religion, the fact remains that they contradict the actions of their brethren in Muslim controlled nations. In other words, actions speak louder than words! Remember, if Islam is such an open religion, why are Christians harassed and murdered in all countries where Muslims are in control of the civil governments.

Muhammad, in our opinion, spoke truth when he described the first reaction people had to his new religion:

"This [Islam] is nothing but a lie which he [Muhammad] has forged, and other have helped him do it... Fairy tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written; and they are dictated before him morning and evening." (Surah 25:4-5)

Even Yusuf Ali, a translator of the Koran into English makes this comment:

"In their misguided arrogance they say, ‘We have heard such things before: they are pretty tales which have come down from ancient times: they are good for amusement, but who takes them seriously? The answer is that the Qur'an teaches spiritual knowledge of what is ordinarily hidden from men's sight, and such knowledge can only come from God to Whom alone is known the Mystery of the whole Creation.’" [3058-9]

Abu gets mad if you ask too many questions!

Muhammad said: "Allah has hated you for asking too many questions."

"The Prophet then got angry and his cheeks and face became red."

Bukhari's Hadith

60 Questions to ask Muslims
Now that you know Muslims will get mad easily by asking them too many questions they don’t want to answer, we suggest the following:

-Pick one or two questions.
-Be very kind in your tone.
-Be patient for their answer.
-Do not condescend.
-Pray for them to see the truth.

  1. Muslims claim, that a proof the Koran was from God, is that it contains scientifically accurate information about Embryology before man discovered it for himself. However, all the information in the Koran regarding Embryology is copied from three sources, 1. A Greek doctor named Galen, who lived of 150 AD. 2. A Jewish doctor named Samuel ha-Yehudi who lived 150 AD. 3. the Greek father of medicine Hippocrates who lived 400 BC. My question is: in light of the fact that all the information contained in the Koran was already in print by these three doctors, will you retract the argument on Embryology? If not, will you supply one detail revealed in the Koran about Embryology, that was not already revealed or that was new?
  2. Muslims claim, that a proof that the Koran was from God is that it contains scientifically accurate information about Embryology, yet in 86:6-7 the Koran says, "man was created from ejected liquid- Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs". This echoes the scientific error of Hippocrates who believed semen originates, from the brain down the spinal chord, before passing through the kidneys and finally out of the body. (Hippocratic Writings, Penguin Classics, 1983, p. 317) My question is: do you reject modern science and believe the Koran when it says sperm originates from the mid-gut section of a man's body.
  3. Muslims quote an article written in 1957 by the Jehovah's Witnesses who stated there were 50,000 errors in the translation of the King James version. My question is: Even if this were true, (which of course it is not), how does this prove there is corruption in the original Greek MSS from which the King James version was translated?
  4. Muslims claim, that the many different translations of the English Bible will render a single text with many different words and phrases. You said this was proof the Bible is corrupted and that the Koran reads exactly the same way everywhere in the world in Arabic. My question is: Since the many English translations of the Koran also render a single text with many different words, does that proof that the Koran is corrupted?
  5. Muslims believe the word Allah was used by Jesus when he hung on the cross. The Bible records that Jesus said "Eli Eli lama sabachthani", but you say Jesus really cried out to Allah and said "Allah, Allah lama sabachthani" My question is: Would you please explain why you would use this argument when you don't believe Jesus ever hung on the cross? And second, since Jesus was quoting Ps 22:1 on the cross, isn't rather unlikely that both the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament are wrong using Eli, a Hebrew word, rather than Allah, an arab word?
  6. Muslims chide Christians because the earliest complete copies of the Bible were written 300 years after the originals of the first century. Yet Muslim scholars state the earliest copy of the Koran was written no earlier than 150 years after Muhammad died. My question is: in light of this fact, how could the Koran possibly be better than the Bible and would you please state the name and location and date of the earliest Koran you believe to be in existence?
  7. Both the Samarqand MSS is in Tashkent, and the MSS housed in the Topkapi Museum in Istanbul are written in the script style called "Kufic". And not the earlier style known as Ma'il or Mashq. This fact is the reason Muslim scholars date these manuscripts no earlier than 200 years after Muhammad died. My question is: leaving aside blind faith and wishful thinking, what evidence do you supply that these MSS were written any earlier?
  8. The British Museum in London has an ancient copy of the Koran written in the Ma'il style of script, but practicing Muslim scholar Martin Lings, who is the former curator for the manuscripts of the British Museum, dates this manuscript at 790 AD. My question is: Apart from just making the claim, what evidence do you supply that this MSS were written any earlier?
  9. The text of the Koran in 37:103 reads "they had both submitted their wills (became Muslims)" while the Arabic text of the Tashkent MSS gives the exact opposite meaning, "they did not submitted their wills" (they did NOT become Muslims.) My question is: have you actually read the Tashkent MSS for yourself in this passage and how do you explain this textual variation given your comments on the miracle of the perfect Koran?
  10. Qur’an 18:9, makes into real history, the second century myth of 7 Christian youths who were persecuted for their faith and went to sleep in a cave for 300 years and then woke up with no ill effects. In the original myth the hero is a Christian, but in the Koran the hero is a Muslim. My question is: in the absence of any copyright laws when the Koran was written, are you at least prepared to pay compensation to the living relatives of the author of this myth? If not, would you be in favor of going starting up a charity fund to compensate for damages of copyright infringement?
  11. Koran 5:116, represents Christians as worshipping Mary which is a historical error. Given the fact that the pagan Arabs did worship Mary’s idol in the Kaba, and that history records no group of Christians had ever worshiped Mary at this time, my question is would you please name the sect of Christians who worshiped Mary at the time of Muhammad?
  12. Muslim's reject the doctrine of inherited sin of Adam but teach the Immaculate Conception of Mary. The reason the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception was invented was to remove inherited sin. My question is: since you reject the doctrine of inherited sin and believe all men are born without sin, why do Muslim's teach the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of Mary?
  13. In Koran 7:125, death by crucifixion is stated to exist at the time of Moses in 1500BC. Yet Encyclopedia Britannica, in harmony with all records of history, reports that crucifixion did not exist any earlier than 500 BC. My question is: to how do you explain this blaring historical error, and do you just disregard the history of the world merely because the Karen says otherwise?
  14. Muslim scholar, Tabbarah, said in his book, The Spirit of Islam, "Moslems do not worship the Black Stone, but only show special reverence and veneration for its dignity and they kiss it only after the example of the Prophet and to keep their Covenant with God to obey His Will and avoid His disobedience." (Tabbarah, The Spirit of Islam, p. 173, Muslim). Focusing on Tabbarah’s key phrase of showing reverence and veneration to the Black Stone, My question is do you see any difference between the Muslim practice of kissing showing reverence and venerating the Black Stone and the Catholic practice of pope John Paul II kissing the statute of the Virgin Mary with reverence and veneration?
  15. Informed Christians know there is no passage and the Koran that says the Bible is lost altered or corrupted. My question is would you please list all the passages you know where the Qur'an says the Bible that was in the hands of the Christians at the time of Muhammad had been corrupted?
  16. Muslims will quote Quran 2:79 as a verse where the Koran says the canon of the Bible is corrupted, "Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say: "This is from God," to traffic with it for miserable price!" My question is: If this verse refers to the corruption of the Bible, then why did Muhammad command Christians to follow the Bible they possessed in 600 AD in Quran 2:89; 7:157? And is this the only verse in the Koran that says the Bible is corrupt? (see also Quran 2:40-42,126,136,285; 3:3,71,93; 4:47,136; 5:47-51, 69,71-72; 6:91; 10:37,94; 21:7; 29:45,46; 35:31; 46:11)
  17. Muslims will quote Jer 8:8 as proof that the Old Testament canon is corrupt, "How can you say, ‘We are wise, And the law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes Has made it into a lie" Yet this verse is clearly speaking of the written scribal interpretations of the Bible as Jesus condemned in Mt 15:1-14. Here Jesus accused the Scribes of the same thing regarding washing of hands and Corban, "you invalidate the written word of God for the sake of your tradition." My question is: is this the only text in the Bible where you claim the canon was corrupted? If not quote the other texts.
  18. How can Muslims claim there are no textual variations in the Koran, when the Tashkent MSS differs from the modern Egyptian Qur’an in 5 passages: 2:284, 2:283, 3:37, 3:109 and 5:119. The Tashkent MSS uses the word 'Allah' while the modern Egyptian Qur'an, uses the word 'huwa' (the pronoun 'he'). My question is: Which word do you believe are in the "preserved master tablet" and "mother of all books" in heaven?
  19. The yearly Passover ritual began the same year it was initiated in the 10th plague and continued uninterrupted for 1500 years. The weekly Lord’s supper ritual began the same week that Christ was crucified and has continued ever since for 2000 years. The Islamic rituals just come out of nowhere, 2600 years after Abraham lived. Being as unbiased as you possibly can, My question is: are not the Jewish and Christian rituals more likely to be based on real history since the rituals of Islam that just pop out of nowhere 2600 years later?
  20. The "Throw" is a reenactment ritual based upon Abraham and the "Run" is a reenactment ritual based upon Hagar. My question is: Did Adam perform the throw and the Run, and if not exactly when did they become part of Islamic ritual and do you have any actual historical evidence to support such?
  21. Given the fact that Isaac Watt, said in his book, Islam and Christianity Today, "By the standards of modern historiography, the crucifixion of Jesus is one of the most certain events in past history" (Watt, Islam and Christianity Today, p. 144). My question is: What historical evidence do you give outside of the Qur'an that Jesus did not die on across?
  22. If all Muslim's must reject the crucifixion of Christ based on the Koran and all Christians must reject Muhammad as a prophet based on the Bible, my question is: on exactly what basis do you believe Christianity and Islam are compatible religions?
  23. Given the fact that the gospel of Barnabas is the 15th century forgery by Muslims, my question is: why do you quote this document as proof that early Christians denied the crucifixion of Christ and what proof do you offer that it is not a Muslim forgery?
  24. Muslim's will quote Yusuf Ali’s comment in footnote 663, as proof that the three early Christian sects of Marcion, Docetism, Basilides, denied the crucifixion of Christ. Given the fact the three sects are condemned as false teachers, deceivers and the anti-Christ in six Bible passages (1 John 1:1,14; 2:22; 4:1-3; 5:6; 2 John 7) My question is: on what basis do you claim they are Christian sects and isn't it as much of a misrepresentation for you to quote these Gnostic sects as Christians who deny the crucifixion, as it would be a misrepresentation for Christians to quote the Baha'i faith as proof Muhammad was not the final Prophet? (The holy Qur’an, text, translation and commentary by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. 1872-1952, First published in 1938, 1973 ed., p. 230, footnote 663, commenting on 4:157)
  25. The Koran says in 4:157, that God causes someone who looked like Jesus to die on the cross in his place, therefore tricking the apostles of Christ into thinking he was crucified. My question is: how can you escape the fact that the rise of Christianity to the largest religion in the world is ultimately the result of the divine action of Allah?
  26. The deity of Jesus is affirmed four times in Hebrews chapter 1. Jesus Christ is called the son of God, worshiped by Angels, called God by the Father and stated to be the creator. Given the fact that you would say that this is a textual corruption of the original gospel message, my question is would you not agree that this corrupted text does indeed call Jesus God?
  27. The Islamic religion teaches that Jesus Christ was a practicing Muslim. My question is: is this any less ridiculous than if Christians said Muhammad was a practicing Buddhist?
  28. Muslim's claim that Isaiah 42 is a prophecy of Muhammad. Yet Isaiah 53 is one of the foremost prophecies of the crucifixion of Christ in the entire Old Testament. My question is: on what basis do you feel Isaiah 42 is uncorrupted which prophecies Muhammad, but Isaiah 53 is corrupted that prophesies the crucifixion of Christ?
  29. My question is: If you feel the Bible is so corrupted, than why do you quote Deut 18:18 and John 16:13 as uncorrupted prophecies of Muhammad’s comment in the sixth century AD.
  30. Acts 19:23-41 mentions a religion that worshipped the great goddess Artemis and her meteorite which fell down from heaven. Taking note that this religion centered around a meteorite, my question is: is it possible that this is a pagan corruption of the Black Stone and meteorite that fell at the foot of Adam and that at the time of Christ the Black Stone was actually in Ephesus Asia minor?
  31. Galatians 1:6-9 Apostle Paul says "I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Christ for a different religion. But even if an angel from heaven, should preach to you a different religion, let him be accursed." My question is: Do you think it possible that this is a genuine text from God and he foresaw that both Muhammad and Joseph Smith would be taught a new religion by an angel?
  32. Before the discovery of the dead sea scrolls in 1947 the earliest copy of the Old Testament was the Massoretic Text dated at 1000 AD. The dead sea scrolls are dated at 100 B.C. contain 19 copies of Isaiah, 25 copies of Deuteronomy and 30 copies of Psalms that are virtually identical to what we have in our Bible's today. My question is: since you believe the Old Testament was corrupted long before the dead sea scrolls were written in 100 B.C., will you at least admit that there has been no further corruption of the Old Testament since 100 B.C. right down to the present?
  33. In Jude 3; 2 Peter 1:3; John 16:13 and 2 Tim 3:16 the Bible is called an all sufficient book with no need for anything else in regards to how we live our lives or worship God. You claim the same thing for the Qur'an. My question is: how can the Qur'an be all sufficient in our worship of Allah, if it does not even mention something as important as praying five times a day and does this not prove that the Koran without the Hadith is like a car without an engine?
  34. The Huleatt Manuscript was written in 50 AD and is actually a prayer addressed to Jesus and calls Jesus "God". Therefore, Christians have in their possession archeological inscriptions within 20 years of Christ’s resurrection that say he is God. My question is: Do you know of any archeological inscription dated within 100 years of Muhammad's death where he is called a prophet? If so, please name it.
  35. The Bible contains over 60 distinct prophecies of Jesus Christ 1000 years before hand. My question is: what is the single most remarkable prophecy that Muhammad made that was fulfilled?
  36. Muslim's believe the Bible is corrupted. Yet in Isa 40:22 and three other passages. (Prov 8:27; Amos 9:6 Job 26:10) it says the earth is round and not flat. Job 26:7 says the earth is free-floating in space: "he hangs the earth on nothing." Both these facts are scientifically accurate, and revealed in the Bible long before man discovered it for himself. My question is: Are these passages scientifically accurate corruption's?
  37. Muslims proudly quote several passages in the Koran 30:48; 24:43, as scientifically accurate explanations of the hydrologic water cycle. My question is: given the fact the Bible had already fully documented the hydrologic water cycle 1600 before the Koran in Job 36:27-28, and 3 other passages (Eccl 11:3; Job 26:8; Eccl 1:6-7), doesn't this proof Muhammad merely copied the scientific facts of the hydrologic water cycle directly from the Bible? (Clouds hold water: Eccl 11:3; Job 26:8; Rivers recycle water: Eccl 1:6-7; Evapouration: Amos 9:6)
  38. The 66 books of the Bible were written by 40 different men over a period of 1600 years with multiple threads of unified themes that span cover to cover. My question is: would you not agree that in contrast to the Bible, that the Qur'an is a jumble of disjointed material, without order, continuity or unity of any kind?
  39. Muslims authorities refuse to release photographs of the ancient Topkapi manuscript in Istanbul, one of the three oldest Korans in existence. My question is: do you have any idea why Muslim authorities refuse to release documentary photographs of the Topkapi manuscript in Istanbul and what they are afraid for the world to see?
  40. Muslims have repeatedly claimed that Muslim women have more rights in Islam then Western women do in the civilized world. The proof you supplied with the fact that Islam gave women the right to vote 1400 years ago but women in the West only got the right to vote 100 years ago. My question is: would you please name one country in the world today that is ruled by a Islamic "Shariah" law where women are permitted to vote?
  41. Muslim's claim that their growth rate is 235 percent and 47 percent for Christianity. This statistic came from the Readers Digest Almanac and Yearbook 1983, and represents 235 percent increase over 50 years. A simple review of the readers Digest study shows that the growth rate of Islam vs. Christianity is directly linked to the birth rate in Third World countries where Islam dominates and not actual conversions to each religion. My question is: do you have any more recent statistics on an annualized basis?
  42. Muslims claim that Jesus prayed using the Muslim prayer posture, along with all the prophets. Yet Jesus instructed his disciples to pray while standing up. (Mark 11:25), King David prayed while sitting in (2 Sam 7:18), and Paul instructed prayer in church with hands lifted up in the air. (1 Tim 2:8) My question is: If Jesus was a Muslim, why would he instruct his disciples to pray standing up? And when it says Jesus fell on his face and prayed, how do you know he was not fully prostrate?
  43. Muslims claim that Muhammad always worshipped Allah in a 100% correct way, without the need for any restoral. My question is: If this is true, then why did Muhammad pray towards Jerusalem for the first 5 years of his prophethood, and later redirected his prays towards Mecca? And did Jesus pray towards Mecca 5 times a towards Jerusalem or Mecca?
  44. The Bible defines a miracle as something that defies the laws of nature. Muslims claim the Koran is a miracle merely because it was allegedly transmitted perfectly without alteration and flaw till the second coming. Since the Harry Potter books will certainly be transmitted perfectly without alteration or flaw, and be around until the second coming, my question is: does this make the Harry Potter books a miracle like the Koran?
  45. Muslims claim that in Isa 42:1 Muhammad fulfilled the expression "bring forth justice to the nations" indicating that the immoral pagan Arabs before Muhammad’s time were reformed into a just moral society. My question is: Even though you believe the New Testament is corrupt, had the Immoral Pagan Arabs all become Christians and followed the moral standards revealed in the corrupted New Testament, would they not have also transformed into a just moral society? If no why not? And how is the moral standard in the Koran superior to the moral standard of the Bible?
  46. Muslims claim that the Angel Gabriel is the Holy Spirit who came upon Mary and caused her to conceive based upon Luke 1:26:38. My question is: If this is true, then why did Gabriel say to Mary in verse 35, "the power of the Holy Spirit will come upon you" rather than "my power will come upon you"?
  47. Muslims quote Luke 22:43 as proof that when Jesus cried out to God not to be crucified, that an angel came and saved him from crucifixion. However the next verses says that Jesus was arrested by the mob for crucifixion. My Question is: on what basis do you accept the first passage as uncorrupted scripture, but reject the next verse as corrupted scripture?
  48. Muslims claim it was medically impossible for blood and water to come out of Jesus when his side was pierced with spear because all the blood in Jesus body would have been clotted. The universal opinion of forensic scientists say that blood takes days to clot. My question is: Is this another example of where you reject all known science simply because Islam says this?
  49. Muslims quote liberal agnostic Bible trashes who claim that the four gospels were copied from a lost original gospel known as the "Q document". This is a mythological document invented by these skeptics who reject Christianity, because they simply cannot accept the Bible is a book inspired from God. My question is: are you aware that the "Q Document" is a purely theoretical document that has never been found and is a complete fabrication and invention of the mind? And what is the value of quoting those who reject Christianity and Islam equally?
  50. Muslims claim that the heading at the beginning of the four gospels "Gospel according to John", for example indicated the words came from John alone and prove the Bible to be a book of human authorship? In fact, that this text, like chapter and verse numbers, was added much later and are not part of the Bible? My question is: where did you learn that this text was part of the Bible?
  51. Muslims state that they believe that the Bible is a book filled with pornography, and quoted Gen 19:32 where Lot made his two daughters pregnant. My Question is: Do you feel that the Bible should be removed from every library in Canada? And are you comfortable with the fact that your prophet Muhammad married a six year old child, when he was 55 years old? Do you think this is a good story to tell children?
  52. Muslims teach Muhammad was sinless. However the Koran specifically limits the number of wives a Muslim man can marry to 4. Yet Muhammad married at least 12 women. My question is: Is Muhammad above the very law he gave in the Koran and isn’t the definition of sin violating the law of God?
  53. Muslims quote George Bernard Shaw who said, "The Bible is the most dangerous book in the world, keep it lock and keyed." My question is: What value is there for you to quote an atheist like Shaw who also said: "There is not one single established religion that an intelligent, educated man can believe." (George Bernard Shaw quoted in "2000 Years of Disbelief, Famous People with the Courage to Doubt", by James A. Haught, Prometheus Books, 1996) Shaw also said: "The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one. The happiness of credulity is a cheap and dangerous quality. (George Bernard Shaw, Androcles and the Lion, Preface, 1916)
  54. To prove the Bible text is corrupted, Muslims quote a newspaper article in the "Daily News" of Durban South Africa, Tues. May 22, 1990, where you claimed the Church of Scotland had deleted the virgin birth from the Bible. The article actually said that the church of Scotland had merely deleted the teaching from their local church creed and statement of faith. My question is: Would you please explain how a church deleting the virgin birth from their church doctrine books, in any way proves the Bible is corrupted?
  55. Muslims quote Isa 42 as a prophecy of Muhammad and say that Christians teach it is a prophecy of the Holy Spirit. (In fact Christians apply the text to Christ.) You also said that Isa 42 can only be fulfilled by Muhammad because Jesus is never called "my servant". My question is: why did Matthew quote Isa 42 and apply the whole text to Jesus in Matthew 12:18?
  56. Muslims claim that the prophecy of the coming prophet in Deut 18:18 cannot be fulfilled by Jesus but could be fulfilled by Muhammad because the text says the prophet must arise from among their own brethren. Muslims say that if a Hebrew was intended, that the Bible would have said, "from among yourselves" rather than the expression "from among their own brethren". Hence Muslims claim the expression, "from among their own brethren" excludes all Hebrews and specifically Jesus. My question is: Since Deut 17:15 uses exactly the same expression, when it said, "you shall surely set a king over you whom the Lord your God chooses, one from among your own brethren" why did God appoint Saul and David as King and not an Ishmaelite? And in Deut 18:2 it says, "The Levites shall have no inheritance from among their brethren." Did the Ishmaelites share the inheritance of the promised land of Palestine with the Hebrews?
  57. The Koran says in 4:157, that God causes someone who looked like Jesus to die on the cross in his place, therefore tricking the apostles of Christ into thinking he was crucified. Apostle John wrote in1 John 1:1 concerning the crucifixion: "What we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life". My question is: Was not John accurately reporting the things he actually saw, things that Allah made appear to happen?
  58. Muslims claim that the New Testament story of Jesus dying on the cross is a corruption of the truth and that Allah made it appear that Jesus died on the cross, as per Q4:157. My question is: How can Muslims claim that they believe any of the New Testament was originally revealed by God, since the corruption must have begun at the cross.
  59. Muslims believe that the whole concept of blood atonement is an invention of the Christian church. My question is: What were the Jews doing since 1500 BC on the "day of atonement".
  60. Muslims reject the gospel story of Jesus being a substitute for our sins, the just for the unjust. They use the illustration of a man having to pay for a speeding ticket he did not commit. My question is: How do you explain that in the Muslim view of the cross, someone completely innocent died in Jesus place, after God made him appear to be Jesus? Was not this a Substitutionary sacrifice?

Islam is intolerant and incompatible with all other religions: If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will he be accepted of God; and in the next life, he will be in the ranks of those who have lost themselves and will burn in hell. (Qur'an 3:85)

My fervent prayer is for the coalition forces in Iraq and the innocent Iraqi men, women and children who are victims of Saddam Hussein. Although you are fed lies by the Muslim community and media that we, Americans are after the oil of Iraq, I ask that you remember us in kindness and yes, even praise, when we set Iraq in order, free the people, set up a government of their choosing, repair their oil fields, then withdraw (unoccupy) and give the country back to the people of Iraq. The American people are good people who base their lives upon Jesus Christ. (Brother Andrew)

When the US discovers that their soldiers have mistreated Muslim prisoners of war, they condemn it and charge the soldiers with a crime and try them as criminals.

Islamic militant groups capture innocent civilians, like Nick Berg, who was beheaded in a video tape sent to the media by Muslims.

Update in Iraq: Good the Americans have accomplished:

  1. Over 400,000 kids have up-to-date immunizations.
  2. School attendance is up 80% from levels before the war.
  3. Over 1,500 schools have been renovated and rid of the weapons stored there so education can occur.
  4. The port of Uhm Qasar was renovated so grain can be off-loaded from ships faster.
  5. The country had its first 2 billion barrel export of oil in August.
  6. Over 4.5 million people have clean drinking water for the first time ever in Iraq.
  7. The country now receives 2 times the electrical power it did before the war.
  8. 100% of the hospitals are open and fully staffed, compared to 35% before the war.
  9. Elections are taking place in every major city, and city councils are in place.
  10. Sewer and water lines are installed in every major city.
  11. Over 60,000 police are patrolling the streets.
  12. Over 100,000 Iraqi civil defense police are securing the country.
  13. Over 80,000 Iraqi soldiers are patrolling the streets side by side with US soldiers.
  14. Over 400,000 people have telephones for the first time ever.
  15. Students are taught field sanitation and hand washing techniques to prevent the spread of germs.
  16. An interim constitution has been signed.
  17. Girls are allowed to attend school.
  18. Textbooks that don't mention Saddam are in the schools for the first time in 30 years.

Don't believe for one second that these people do not want us there. I have met many, many people from Iraq that want us there, and in a bad way. They say they will never see the freedoms we talk about but they hope their children will. We are doing a good job in Iraq and I challenge anyone, anywhere to dispute me on these facts.

THE GOSPEL OF BARNABAS

IS NOT THE ‘REAL GOSPEL’!

See ‘Christians Answer Muslims’, pp. 119 ff)

This is no Gospel, but was written by a Muslim about 1300-1350. Reasons:

1. The author did not know the geography of Israel: Nazareth at shore of Lake Galilee, Jesus goes UP (!) to Capernaum, the lowest town on the earth’s surface. Jesus went by boat to Jerusalem!

2. The author did not know local and historical situation: Jesus and disciples observe 4O days of Lent! (Known 400 years later). Romans gather army of 3 x 200 000 men at Mizpeh. (Whole Roman army was 300 000).

Jesus born when Pilate was governor. (He was born A.D. 26-27) Jesus observed five daily prayers (No Jewish custom and not reported). “Virgin” is given as a title to Mary (done only 400 years later). Mt. Moria - Mt. of Transfiguration (No ones knows, this is a tradition of the third century).

Four Archangels mentioned (Not in the Bible, this tradition is of a much later date). 1 denarius is 60 minuti (coins). (Minuti used only under Khalif Abdul Malik A.D. 685). Soldiers rolled away like barrels. (Barrels unknown at that time in Israel).

Mohammed called “Messiah”. (Bible and Qur-ån. Jesus the Messiah). Year of Jubilee every 100 years. (Lev 25:11 every 50th year! Changed only once - in 1300)

Eve ate the apple in paradise. (Bible - fruit. Apple tradition much later). Ismael offered on altar by Abraham. (Bible - Isaac Gen. 22.2, Ismael lsl. Tradition).

Many quotations are taken from Dante’s works. (Dante lived 1245-1321).

3. Barnabas was not a disciple of Jesus, but became a Christian after His death.

MOHAMMED IS PREDICTED IN THE BIBLE

(See ‘Is Mohammed foretold in the Bible’ by J. Gilchrist and ‘Christians Answer Muslims’ - pp. 110-116)

WHERE? Muslims: S. 61:6: “Jesus said: I am indeed the Messenger of Allah to you ... giving good tidings of a messenger who shall come after “the praised one”. This, say Muslims, is based on John 14:16-17; 15:26; 16:7. The “Comforter”, the Holy Spirit in Greek paracletos.  Muslims hold it should read pericletos - the praised one - Mohammed. There is no evidence for that.

Christians reply: This Passage refers to a Spirit He was promised to the apostles and would remain forever. The apostles knew him (14:17) and he was to dwell in them. The promise was fulfilled in Acts 2, to those who believed (John 7:39).

WHERE? Muslims: Deut. 18:18: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all I command him.” - this prophet is Mohammed.

Reasons:

1.            “…from among their brethren”, i.e. the brethren of the Israelites - the lsmaelites.

2.            Mohammed resembles Moses fully:            “a prophet like you”.

Christians reply:  l. “. . . from their brethren”, i.e. out of your midst! See Deut. 18:1-2 (their brethren), 15 (from among YOU). The prophet had to come from Israel!

2.         “a prophet like you” (See Christians Answer Muslims” pp.115.

3.         The Bible states that Jesus is that prophet (Acts 3. 17-23)

To use the attempt to fit Mohammed into the role of Jesus is just a desperate move to “fulfill” the saying of S. 61:7 and 7:157. Besides, by making this claim, the Muslims admit the validity of the Bible.

CHRISTIAN OBJECTIONS TO ISLAMIC TEACHINGS!

THE QUR-AN HAS BEEN GIVEN WORD BY WORD BY ALLAH AND HAS UNDERGONE NO CHANGES EVER!

1..        The Qur-an varies from former revelation in considerable and many ways.  If we believe that nobody can change the Word of God (S. 10:64 and 6:34), that Mohammed was the protector of former revelations and that former revelations (Taurat and Injil) are God’s Word (see p. 1), how can we explain the differences?  The Bible underwent no change, as we have seen (p. 1).

2.         During the life of Mohammed there were ‘seven revealed forms’ of the Qur-an which differed considerably (Tafsir of Tabari.  Tafsir of al-Baizawi on S. 3:100; 6:91; 19:35; 28:48; 33:6; 34:18; 38:22; and also recorded in the Mishkat III pp. 702-705). (See: “Christians Ask Muslims” p. 57-59).

3.         Four accepted versions of the Qur-an existed until after the Qur-an was revised under Uthman (“Christians ask Muslims” pp. 60-64).  These were collected and recorded by ibn Masood, Abu Musa, Ubayy ibn Ka’b and Hijazi text.  All recorders were companions of Mohammed and learned the Qur-an from him.

Zaid who revised the Qur-an was much their junior.  Jalal al-Din reports of 2 Suras which are missing in the Uthmani Text but were contained in the masahif of ibn Abbas, Ubayy and Abu Musa, and in today’s text are three Suras which were not in the mushaf of ibn Masood (al-Itqan).

Ibn Masood is reported to have attended the ‘final review’ of the Qur-an by Gabriel!

After creating a uniform text from the existing versions, Uthman ordered ALL others including the original which was kept by Hafsah, to be burnt.  WHY??? (Mishkat III p. 708)

4.         There are portions missing and others willfully added :  (See: “Christians Ask Muslims” pp. 49-52).

Missing in today’s Qur-an are: “If there were two valleys of riches for the son of Adam, he would long for a third valley…” etc. this part of a sura the length of S. at-Taubah, “O people who believe, why do you say that which you do not practice…” etc., and “That which is recorded in your necks as a witness (against you) and you would be asked about it on the Day of Resurrection” and the verse of stoning adulteresses (Sahih Muslim pp. 501, 912: Mishkat II p. 534).

Ayshah reported that one revelation manuscript which was under her bed at the time of Mohammed’s death was eaten by a domestic animal (Sahih Muslim p. 740).

S. 53:19:  “Have you considered al-Lat and al-Uzza and Manat the third other?” was formerly followed by: “Verily they are exalted maidens and their intercession is to be hoped for (or ‘is approved’)”. Al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat were three of 360 deities in the Ka’aba before Mecca was conquered by Muslims.

The text of vs. 19 was also altered.  It read originally “by al-Lat…” etc. To S.23:12 the words Blessed be Allah, the best of creators” were added by Mohammed, being an exclamation by his scribe Abd-Allah ibn Abi-Sarh (al-Baidawis and Zamakshari’s tafsir commentary).

To S. 4:95 the words “except those who suffer from a grave impediment” were willfully added, when a blind person was present when the foregoing verse was dictated by Mohammed to Zaid and he objected.

5.  A great deal of (if not all) the religious concepts and persons reflected in the Qur-an were common knowledge at the time of Mohammed in Arabia and Mohammed had easy access to them (See “Christians Ask Muslims” pp. 96-102): i.e. Allah, prophethood, Ka’aba, Hajj, the prayers as practiced in Islam, Ramadaan, Quibla, Jesus, Mary, Abraham, Moses and many others, Harut and Marut, seven heavens and hells (S. 15:44: 17:44), the Miraj, paradise, the Mizan (balances) and Sirat etc.

These come from varying sources (Sabaeans Talmud, N.T. Apocrypha, Jewish Legends and Legends of Eastern Religions), many are quoted verbally.

6.  The Qur-an served to provide personal advantages for Mohammed. (All references from “Christians Ask Muslims” pp. 111-116)

S. 66:1 ff explained in Mishkat II pp. 680-681 and Ranzatu’r Safu: II p. 188.

S. 33:53-54 explained in Mishkat II p. 723 and I P. 210.

S. 33:36 explained by the Tafsir of al-Baizawi II p. 129 and Sahih Muslim II p. 724.

S. 33:37-38; 33:50-56 explained in Mishkat I p. 210, Sahih al-Bukhari I p. 165, Sahih Muslim II p. 716 and p. 762, Sahih Muslim IV pp. 1299-1301, ibn Sa’ads’ Kitab al-Tabaqat al-kabir pp. 439, 469 etc.)

7.   We find no valid, acceptable evidence in the text of the Qur-an, which testifies to its divine character (we refer to “CCCC” pp. 11-22 and “Christians Ask Muslims” pp. 43-65):

(a)   There is no humanly unpredictable prophecy which was consequently fulfilled as in the Bible, and as demanded as a proof (Deut. 18:21-22; Isa, 41:21-23)

(b)   Jews and Christians repeatedly asked Mohammed for such proof to establish his credentials as a prophet, which he did not give (S. 3:183; 17:90-93; 17:59; 88:93; 13:7,109,124; 7:203; 2:87,99,118-119; 151:252).

(c)   The high literary quality (S. 17:89; 2:23; 9:16) of at least parts of the Qur-an in Arabid does not constitute in itself any evidence of divine origin. (The best human achievement is by that not yet divine!)

(d)   The testimony of one man to a divine and universal text without confirmation by acceptable divine signs cannot be held acceptable.

8.  Contradictions in the Qur-an   S. 4:82: “If it (Qur-an) had been from any besides Allah, they would certainly have found therein many contradictions.” These are, no doubt, there:

(a)  PREDESTINATION: The Qur-an distinctly teaches “taqdir” or “qadar” (pre-ordering). (See “Christians Ask Muslims” pp. 21-37).

IN CREATION: S. 28:68; 54:49; 37:96; 13:39; 42:49-50; 35:16-17; 30:54.

OF GUIDANCE: S. 32:13; 16:93; 16:36; 7:179; 4:87; 14:4; 11:118; 13:27; 6:149.

OF FORGIVENESS AND PUNISHMENT: S. 5:20; 5:40; 48:14.

OF SIN, PIETY AND MERCY: S. 91:7-8; 76:29-30.

OF THE WILL AND DESTINY OF MAN: S. 47:16; 2:5-6; 42:13; 57:22; 32:12-13; 33:17; 48:11; 74:54-56; 64:11; 68:48-50.

OF MAN’S PROVISIONS: S. 34:36; 30:37; 62:4; 13:26; 57:29; 28:82.

In contrast to this the Qur-an teaches REWARD FOR DEEDS, i.e. cause and effect S. 33:24; 33:73; 61:5; 28:56; 6:83.

And that ALLAH IS MOST MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS (see beginning of each Sura) which is in contrast to both pre-ordering and cause and effect.

The Qur-an is confirmed by the Hadis: Mishkat III pp. 93-121; Sahih Muslim IV pp. 1389-1401 and Sahih al-Bukhari VIII pp. 387-403.

One cannot possibly interpret this type of predestination as being on the grounds of Allah’s knowledge.  HOW CAN ALLAH BE MERCIFUL, IF HE IS JUST?  HOW CAN THERE BE A REWARD FOR GOOD OR EVIL, IF ALL IS PRE-ORDERED?

(b)  The law of mansukh and nasikh (“Christians Ask Muslims” pp. 11-16), is the law of abrogation and teaches that Allah may substitute one revelation of the Qur-an by another one (S. 16:101; 2:106).  This is contradicted by S. 6:34 and 10:64!  At least some of the mansukh verses (these abrogated or replaced) are still in the Qur-an and each constitutes a contradiction.  Since there is no accurate chronology of the verses given, it is often difficult to determine which verse is to replace which other one.  Some examples (Salalu’d-Din estimated the number of  abrogations to be up to 500):

1.  Change of Qibla: S. 2:142-144

2.  Change of inheritance laws: S. 4:7 and 11

3.  Change of night prayers: S. 73:2 and 20

4.  Change of punishment for adulteresses: S. 4:15 and 124:2, not to mention the lost verses of stoning (see paragraph 4)

5.   Change of retaliation laws: S. 2:178 and 5:48; 17:33

6.    Change in the restrictions governing Jihad: S. 9:5 is contradicted by S. 9:36 and 47:4 and both contradict S. 2:256.

In addition to the above are changes in pilgrimage laws, dietry laws, the fast and in Sabbath law S. 2:158, 168-174, 182-187; 191-203; S. 16:114-119, 124) and others.

(c)   Other contradictions:

1.  The world was created in six days (S. 25:59) – the world was created in eight days (S. 41:9-12)

2.  No distinction between prophets (S. 3:84; 2:285; 2:136) – some prophets exalted in degree above others (S. 2:253)

3.   Everything is predestined (see 8a) – there is a just reward for one’s deeds (see 8a)

4.   Intercession effected by angels and Mohammed (S. 42:5; 24:62) – intercession is not acceptable to Allah (S. 74:48; 63:5; 34:23).

           CHRISTIAN OBJECTIONS TO CERTAIN

ETHICAL NORMS

We find it strange that Muslim theologians exert themselves to discredit the Christian faith by using doubtful arguments, which have often been refuted, but are continually taught in Madressas everywhere (see first part “Christian reply to Muslim Objections”).  Messrs. Deedat, Joommal and others have resorted to totally dishonest smear campaigns without the masses of Muslims objecting to this!

Into the same category falls the propagation of the so-called “Gospel of Barnabas” (see p. 5) and the comments by Col. Rahim.  The translation of the “Gospel” was accompanied with the translation (L. and L. Ragg) commentary, which clearly states that it is a forgery.  This is left out.  That the “Gospel of Barabas” is a forgery is established without any reasonable doubt (p. 5).

CHRISTIAN REPLY TO MUSLIM OBJECTIONS

The Bible as we have it is not God’s Word

THE TESTIMONY OF THE QUR-AN TO THE BIBLE: The Taurat and the Injil (Old Testament and New Testament) were given by God to Moses, the Prophets and Jesus and they are guidance, light and admonition: S. 5:47-52; 5:71-72; 5:69; 6:91; 3:3.

Muslims are to believe in the revelations given to Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc.  There is no difference in revelations: S. 2:136; 29:46; 4:136; 2:285.

The Qur-an confirms former revelations: S. 10:37; 46:11; 35:31.

The Injil and the Taurat are available during the time of Mohammed: S. 21:7; 10:94; 3:71; 3:93; 4:47; 2:42; 29:46.

The Word of God cannot be changed by men: S. 6:34; 10:64.
