MY
PERSONAL TESTIMONY
of Jesus Christ's Awesome
Power
January,
2012 Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.
My
heart is overflowing with
gratitude to our Heavenly
Father Who so lovingly reached
down His Hand of mercy to an
undeserving world in sending
His Son to redeem us from the
clutches of Satan. Jesus'
vicarious death and glorious
resurrection purchased our
salvation!
The
Lord is awesome and
"His ways are past
finding out."
It is impossible to understand
the grace of God and why Jesus
would suffer, bleed and die
for sinful mankind!
Personally, I am amazed to
think of what God has
accomplished through this
Ministry during the past 49
years!
Almost
everywhere we meet people who
have been saved,
healed, filled with
the Holy Spirit or called
in
His service through this
Ministry. It brings me
to my knees in humility when I
think of how God called me
into His Holy work,
because in my younger years I
never envisioned that I would
preach the Gospel!
It
is true that I was taught by
my parents to trust in God as
a child and at 17 years of
age at SLBI (Lutheran
Collegiate Bible Institute) Outlook,
Saskatchewan, I went forward
to rededicate my life to
Christ after a stirring appeal
by Rev. Sylvan Johnson, a
powerful Lutheran Evangelist.
Due to unsaved friends, a
desire for worldly pleasure
and lack of back-bone, my
confession didn't hold and I
drifted away from God for
seven years, until God
called me again through a
miracle.
GOD
REVEALED HIMSELF TO OUR
FAMILY!
My
Dad had suffered for many
years with his gall bladder
and in March 1956, he
entered the hospital for
surgery. While there, he
heard a voice in the Norwegian
tongue instructing him to go
home and listen to Oral
Roberts on the radio.
My Dad's gall bladder was
healed perfectly, as was his
heart. And my Dad
received the 'Baptism of the
Holy Spirit', spoke in tongues
and prophesied.
Those
events surprised me so
profoundly that I began
experiencing God's convicting
Spirit speaking to me, and for
the first time in my life I
saw that His Word was still
relevant and that He was
performing miracles as He had
done 2000 years ago!
Little
by little, the Holy Spirit
drew me to Himself and in June
1957, I surrendered my
life to God. Shortly
thereafter, I was baptized
with the Holy Spirit and fire.
And I have not been the same
since!
By
the grace of God we celebrated
my 78th birthday on May
15th, 2012 and I can
testify that He has kept me in
good health and strong in the
Spirit. And Donna gets
better looking every day!
We are so thankful and
overwhelmed by the love
showered upon us by the many
who faithfully support us!
On
September 26, 2007, we
opened Christ the Healer
Gospel Church is
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and on
July 3, 2011 we dedicated the House
of Prayer Gospel Church on
Hwy #623, New Sarepta, AB, to
our Lord Jesus Christ.
By His grace alone we have
been able to preach His
Wonderful Gospel across the
world with great success
reaching multitudes of unsaved
people for Christ's Kingdom.
On
our way to Kampala, Uganda for
the Max Solbrekken Gospel
Unity Crusade and Minister's
Conference (September
13-18, 2011), I had the
privilege of reaching many
thousands across Scandinavia
by TV from Vision Norway
during out six-day Outreach
there. It was such a joy
to see so many blessed by our
Lord through TV in Norway and
Uganda!
THE
DOORS ARE WIDE OPEN FOR OUR TV
MINISTRY!
I
began my Radio Ministry in
1961 and graduated to TV
in 1971. For many
years, I preached the Gospel
in Canada by radio and TV and
reached many unconverted souls
for Christ.
NOW,
the doors have swung open for
us to do it again.
In March, 2012, we will begin
to produce our Programs in
Alberta and gradually reach
out across the Nation. I
have asked God to give me many
PARTNERS who will gladly help
us in this great outreach for
Him.
Because
we always pay our bills on
time, we must have $50,000 for
this project within 2 months.
I am asking 50 of my friends
to invest $1,000.00 in this
work of winning souls for our
Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
Some
can give more and others an
give less. God has
assured me that the 'HARVEST
IS RIPE' for a genuine
old-time REVIVAL in Canada!!
I

REPORT
ON
NORWAY & UGANDA CRUSADES
This
is the time for Revival.
The doors are wide open in
Uganda. Even though the
rain hampered us greatly, we
soldiered on and reach
hundreds of thousands with
Jesus' Gospel of T.V.,
Radio and mass media.
Only eternity will tell
everything that our LORD
accomplished from September
6-20, 2011 in Uganda.
Reports
keep coming in from the
Kampala Uganda Crusade.
The
wide open doors to further
ministry through TV are
beckoning, even as plans are
underway to reach Canada
through TV in 2012.

Dearly
Beloved Dr. Max,
Greetings
in the most precious name of
our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. The attached
message is from a journalist
from Bukede Radio where you
ministered on Sunday,
September 18th, 2011.
I
would like to share with you
that the Lord is still using
your mission up until today.
At the Demonstration Farm and
Prayer Resort we have young
boy of 12 years of age called
Jonathan, who followed us all
the way from the City March/
He
gave his life to the Lord
during the Crusades and he was
a street boy. His mother
whom he has never seen
abandoned him in a shrine
where he was make fire for
worship of demons.
The
priest of Demons named him
Jonathan Mukasa and Mukasa ia
a name of a powerful demon
spirit of the lake. The
priest got rid of him saying
that he has eating alot and
that is how he ended up on the
streets of Kampala.
He
does not know his mother or
father. He now lives
with me at the farm and as 12
years old, he has started
school at Back to God Primary
- Butalale, which you
dedicated to the Lord.
He
was enrolled in Primary one.
Thank you so much for coming
to Uganda because now I have a
son !!!!
We
are getting requests for your
messages to be aired on our TV
Station, especially the one
called Urban TV. They
have called me and reduced the
amount to $235 for airing a 45
minute message on Sundays and
it will be repeated once
during a week day !!
Last
Tuesday we had a evaluation
and thanksgiving meeting with
those who served on the
preparatory committee and I
again asked them to send us
their reports.
During
the meeting we came to learn
that your missions broke 2
strong holds in Nsambya where
we had the Crusades and
Conferences; It is the
headquarter of Roman
Catholicism and all the land
belongs to them. It was
very difficult in the past to
hold such spirit filled
meetings as we did.
Remember
the unique outpouring of the
Spirit on us during one of the
Pastor's Conference!! In
addition to that is a
neighboring hill called
KIBAULI and it is the
headquarters of the Muslims!!
Reports here show that the
devil was afraid of your
anointed Scriptural messages.
Send
our love to the brethren in

& UGANDA CRUSADES

We
had great meetings in Norway
and Uganda. By God's
grace, we reached hundred of
thousands across Scandinavia
on Visjon Norge TV for five
days, working with my old
friend Jan Hanvold.
Pastor
Dan McLean from Victoria was a
great help in Uganda in the
Minister's Convention.
Dan McLean is a powerful man
of God and we are inviting him
and his wife Susan to
Saskatoon and New Sarepta in
the near future.
Jan
Hanvold is the president of a
very influential TV Satellite
Network: www.visjonnorge.com.
He is also a powerful
Evangelist and preached with
great clarity and fire and
Lief Inge Sandnes from Norway
was in top form with his TV
camera. Ron Peters and
David Sollid from Saskatoon
and Marty Swanson from Camrose,
Alberta were great team
members and very helpful in
the crusades.
September
is usually a very dry month,
however, about ten days before
we arrived in Uganda - after
months of drought - it began
to rain every day with mud
slides and farmer's crops
rotting in the fields.
The Soccer field we were using
turned into mud. We
didn't let that stop us,
however, and people had to
stand in the mud. On the
last day it rained a lot in
the morning but the sun shone
and dried up the fields and it
was one of the greatest
services I have seen.
Because
of the 7/11 terrorist attack
at the World Cup in Kampala in
2009 - where 82 people were
killed - outdoor meetings were
not allowed to assemble until
our crusade. We were
given permission to hold our
crusade, however, more than
100 policeman patrolled the
park 24 hours a days - 7 days
a week. The Chief of
Police led the famous POLICE
BRASS BAND in a march through
the city to open the crusade.
With
the wet weather, we moved into
Plan B and had an awesome
Press Conference with about 20
news organizations present.
I was interviewed and allowed
to preach on three major
secular Radio Stations
reaching the nation (one-1/2
hour and two-1 hour shows).
Since
this was the first large
crusade since the 7/11/09 two
terrorist attacks, it brought
together pastors from many
different denominations and
many precious souls were saved
in every service. The
Authorities had warned the
pastors after the attacks, to
screen everyone coming to
their church services, so high
was the tension.
Our
crusade has brought a sense of
calm and people danced for joy
for about an hour after the
alter service on Sunday night.
Dr. Dkata, National President
of the Full Gospel
Businessmen's Fellowship in
Uganda and a powerful
preacher/pastor helped us
greatly. He was on the
National Soccer Team as a
young man and had injured his
right leg between the ankle
and upper leg. He
brought a dying man to see us
and after praying for him, Dr.
Daniel asked if I would also
pray for his old leg injury
and the Lord graciously healed
a 12 year old injury and he
danced for joy and later
transported us to the airport.
Glory to God.

again this year has lost none
of the fire. We worked
together as hand in glove for
God's glory!

Dear
Beloved Dr. Max:
Greetings
in Jesus' most precious name,
even Jesus Christ our Lord and
Saviour.
It
was glorious on September 17,
2011, when we opened and
dedicated to the Lord
Almighty, Back to God Primary
School Butalale, water well,
Alone with God Prayers Resort,
Madeline Adams's Women's Dorm
and a model Mixed Farm where
many are already coming to
learn better methods of crop
and animal husbandry.
Hon.
Dr. James Mutende, State
Minister of Industry and
Technology was Guest of Honor
and officiated the opening on
behalf of Uganda Government
and Dr. Max Solbrekken, a
Canadian evangelist dedicated
all these facilities to the
Lord.
The
occasion was attended by the
Ugandan Ambassador to Kenya,
H.E. Maama Angelina Wapakabulo,
Pastors from different
denominations, many invited
guests and after the
dedication, Dr. Max Solbrekken
preached a very powerful
message and many gave their
lives to Jesus.
Hon.
Dr. Mutende gave a moving
testimony about the prayer
Resort because five months
ago, he came to this place
frustrated after loosing in
the elections of Mhale
Municipality, he was prayed
for in the name of Jesus
Christ for God to open bigger
doors. Immediately after
this the President of Uganda
appointed him State Minister
of Industry and Technology!!
After
opening and dedicating the
facilities at the farm, we
drove back to Kampala to
attend evening Max Solbrekken
Unity Gospel Crusades which
had started September 13, 2011
and ended on the 18th of
September. Many came to
the Lord although rain
disrupted.
Dr.
max is a balanced scriptural
preacher, who rocked the City
and the nation at large.
He preached in open air, had
press conferences, and
preached on Radio and
Television. There was
also a 3 day Pastors' and
church leaders' and market
place people's conference in a
Catholic Sharing Youth Hall.
On one of the days the Holy
Spirit came down in power
anointing all of us afresh.
This was significant; He
just showed up, if was
magnetic, I do not know how to
describe it, perhaps Dr. Max
can share the videos with you.
We
had wonderful cooperation with
the Government of Uganda,
allowing the Police Band to
lead a City Gospel March which
was so colorful. It was
also important to note that we
received permission to hold
these crusades at the time
when we had highest alert
against terrorism and the
Police used all its security
organs and over 100 Police
personnel were on guard 24
hours a day.
Despite
the disruption from rain in
the open air crusades, many
came to the Lord during the
media and Capital Community
Church Women's Club will be
giving a Luncheon to the new
converts on September 25,
2011, the men also from the
same church will be giving
Bibles to the new converts.
Hallelujah, God is good.
Uganda
needs preachers like Dr. Max
Solbrekken who preach the
truth from Scriptures and
brings out the old time themes
of SIN AND SALVATION; HEAVEN
AND HELL and JUDGMENT.
The popular messages we have
been hearing of worldly
prosperity and financial
success were not heard this
time, rather, we heard the
power of the blood of Jesus,
where would you spend
eternity?, repentance, love of
God and serving God by winning
souls. IT WAS GOOD!
If

Crusade and the Seminars and
the Word was very powerful,
and the HEALINGS the LORD did
in the crusades.
I
REALLY WONDERED HOW THE
ANOINTING WORKED ON YOUR FROM
MORNING TO THE END OF THE
MEETINGS
Remember,
the miracle that happened when
I brought Mr. David and
Margaret to be healed of
cancer. After you prayed
for him in Jesus' Name, he did
get his miracle! And I
also got mine.
I
injured my right leg while I
was playing soccer, and for
over 15 years I lived with
pain and I couldn't lift my
leg. After your prayers
and laying your hands on me in
Jesus' Name, the pains are all
gone and I have perfect
mobility again. hank
you very much for hearing the
VOICE OF GOD.
May
God bless you and use you even
more. Thanks again for
your prayers. I took
time off work to help you and
my finances improved
immediately. My business
made over $20,000.00 during
that time. God is so
