Fidel Castro today joined the band of September 11 conspiracy theorists by accusing the US of spreading disinformation about the attacks that took place six years ago.

In a 4,256-word article read by a Cuban television presenter last night, the country's leader asserted that the Pentagon was hit by a rocket, not a plane, because no traces were found of its passengers.

"Only a projectile could have created the geometrically round orifice created by the alleged airplane," he said. "We were deceived as well as the rest of the planet's inhabitants," he said.

In fact, the remains of the bodies of the crew and passengers of American Airlines flight 77 were found at the Pentagon crash site, and positively identified by DNA.

As for the attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York, Mr Castro wrote that the way the passenger jets crashed into the twin towers on September 11 and the data from the plane's black boxes "do not correspond with the criteria of mathematicians, seismologists, and information and demolition specialists".

But in a glaring omission, Mr Castro's conspiracy theory failed to mention Osama bin Laden, who this week issued a video praising one of the hijackers who crashed into the World Trade Centre, and his militant Islamist al-Qaida network.

In his article, Mr Castro said the truth behind the attacks with hijacked planes that killed nearly 3,000 people would probably never be known.

The Cuban government originally condemned the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington hours after they occurred.

Within days it had organised a rally to express solidarity with Americans and Mr Castro said Cuba offered to donate blood.

Mr Castro has not appeared in public since mid-2006, when he underwent intestinal surgery and ceded power to his younger brother Raul. In late March, he began writing occasional essays on mostly international themes.

Mr Castro himself was the target of several failed assassination attempts by the US after he took power in 1959.

He also claimed in his essay that Cuba tipped off US security services in 1984 about a plan to kill the then president, Ronald Reagan, while he was campaigning for re-election in North Carolina.

The information provided by Cuba led to the arrest of a group of would-be assassins and foiled the plot, he wrote.

Terror Chief: We Will Be Hit Again

Another attack by al-Qaida on the United States is "inevitable", the head of the National Counter Terrorism Center says.

Retired Vice Adm. John Redd told Newsweek magazine that al-Qaida is actively plotting to hit America, but intelligence sources don't have enough information to issue a precise warning or raise the threat level.

Redd also told Newsweek:

� "If we knew where [Osama bin Laden] was, he�d either be dead or captured. It�s that simple. [He�s] obviously a tough target. That whole area is a tough target. And my standard answer on OBL is: remember [convicted Atlanta Olympics bomber] Eric Rudolph. Nobody likes to hear it but, I mean, here�s a guy [who was on the run] in the United States of America. We had unlimited access � the FBI, local law enforcement � and the guy hid out for an awful long time just by keeping a low profile."

� "We have very strong indicators that al-Qaida is planning to attack the West and is likely to [try to] attack, and we are pretty sure about that. ... They would like to come West, and they would like to come as far West as they can. What we don�t know is � we don�t have that kind of tactical detail. What we do have, though, is a couple of threads that indicate, you know, some very tactical stuff, and that's what � you know, that�s what you�re seeing bits and pieces of, and I really can�t go much more into it."

� "This is a long war [on terror]. People say, 'What is this like?' I say it�s like the cold war in only two respects. Number one, there is a strong ideological content to it. Number two, it is going to be a long war. I�ll be dead before this one is over. We will probably lose a battle or two along the way. We have to prepare for that. Statistically, you can�t bat 1.000 forever, but we haven�t been hit for six years, [which is] no accident."

� "We are better prepared today for the war on terror than at any time in our history. We have done an incredible amount of things since 9/11, across the board. Intelligence is better. They are sharing it better. We are taking the terrorists down. We are working with the allies very carefully. We are doing the strategic operational planning, going after every element in the terrorist life cycle. So we have come a long way. But these guys are smart. They are determined. They are patient. So over time we are going to lose a battle or two. We are going to get hit again, you know, but you�ve got to have the stick-to-itiveness or persistence to outlast it."

Buckley: Muslims Threaten British Way

Quoting the remark by a British patriot in one of the darkest days of World War II that spoke of "the British way of life," conservative columnist and icon William F.Buckley Jr. observed that this cherished modus vivendi is under attack from the island nation's large Muslim population.

Noting that "Western Europe has a Muslim problem," Buckley added that "it is particularly acute in Great Britain,

which is more intimately linked to constitutional traditions and procedures, " than the nations on the continent.

The threat to Britain's way of life, he observed, "is not, this time around, in the shape of a continental army threatening invasion or Nazi bombers darkening the sky," but instead "Muslim immigration." Noting that there are now about two million Muslims in England, Buckley recalled the British custom of granting instant citizenship to members of its empire: "Any citizen could leave Malaysia or Pakistan or India or Jamaica and simply show up, declaring himself a British resident," Buckley explained.

Thanks to that policy, Britain is now being forced to cope with such problems as Muslim demands for their own schools -- where the question is what will be taught -- and to endure the consequences of Quranic demands that Muslims make war against the infidels - in this case their British hosts.

Wrote Buckley, "One hears exactly what one would expect from British authorities. The new prime minister, Gordon Brown, spoke at his first news conference of the 'importance we attach to nonviolence.' That attachment makes unpalatable 'the extreme message of those who practice violence and would maim and murder citizens on British soil.'"

Buckley concluded, "You said a mouthful, prime minister. But it is time for the mother of parliaments to look unruly, unassimilable creeds in the face and say: No more."

Germans 'On Fire' Over Terror Plots

Germany officials are said to be so worried a terror attack will come � potentially against U.S. targets on their soil � their "hair is on fire.�

That�s the word from Mark Hosenball, a Newsweek correspondent who wrote a report for the weekly titled, "Terror Watch: The Return of Al Qaeda.�

Newsweek said that Germany's worries mirror growing concerns in Washington and London that al-Qaida is set to launch major terror attacks this summer.

The U.S. embassy in Berlin has already issued warnings that Islamic militants connected with al-Qaida may be plotting attacks on American military facilities in Germany.

Unlike London, Glasgow, Madrid and Istanbul, cities in Germany have thus far escaped the horrors of a terrorist attack following 9/11.

But fears of a terror strike in Germany were raised last summer when a pair of suitcase bombs failed to explode on commuter trains.

And officials are mindful that several of the terrorists who plotted the 9/11 attacks used Hamburg as a home base.

The concern is that Islamist terrorists could target not only American facilities in that country, but Germany itself � the nation has 3,000 troops in Afghanistan, part of a NATO force battling the Taliban insurgency.

The German government recently set up a team to track the flow of suspected jihadists between Germany and Iraq.

The number of suspects being tracked is "more than a handful,� one source told Newsweek. Another source disclosed that German officials know "for sure� that suspects have traveled from Germany to areas in Iraq where al-Qaida in Iraq and other militant groups operate.

Some have returned to Germany, authorities fear, after receiving instruction on terrorist operations.

At a recent press conference, Germany�s Deputy Interior Minister August Hanning said "the intelligence picture German agencies were seeing was reminiscent of what intelligence agencies saw in the months before 9/11,� Newsweek reported.

In response to the growing threat, the country�s top security official, Interior Minister Wolfgang Schauble, is pressing for the use of online searches of computers belonging to terrorist suspects, and calls for a law to allow security forces to shoot down any plane commandeered by hijackers, according to the New York Times.

He also said this week that Germany should weigh detaining potential terrorists and sanctioning the killing of terrorist leaders in other countries.

Critics complain that the moves would endanger civil liberties in a country that still recalls the tyranny of Nazism and Communism.

But Eckart Klein, a law professor at the University of Potsdam in Germany, told the Times: "If something happened, the same people who are criticizing [Schauble] for going too far would criticize him for not going far enough

Airports Warned of 'Dry Run' Attacks

Airport security officers around the nation have been alerted by federal officials to look out for terrorists practicing to carry explosive components onto aircraft, based on four curious seizures at airports since last September.

The unclassified alert was distributed on July 20 by the Transportation Security Administration to federal air marshals, its own transportation security officers and other law enforcement agencies.

The seizures at airports in San Diego, Milwaukee, Houston and Baltimore included "wires, switches, pipes or tubes, cell phone components and dense clay-like substances," including block cheese, the bulletin said. "The unusual nature and increase in number of these improvised items raise concern."

Security officers were urged to keep an eye out for "ordinary items that look like improvised explosive device components."

The 13-paragraph bulletin was posted on the Internet by NBC Nightly News, which first reported the story.

A federal official familiar with the document confirmed the authenticity of the NBC posting but declined to be identified by name because it has not been officially released.

"There is no credible, specific threat here," TSA spokeswoman Ellen Howe said Tuesday. "Don't panic. We do these things all the time."

Homeland Security spokesman Russ Knocke described the notice as the latest copy of a routine informational bulletin for TSA workers, airport employees and law enforcement officials.

A statement posted late Tuesday by the TSA on its Web site confirmed that "a routine TSA intelligence bulletin relating to suspicious incidents at U.S. airports" had leaked to news organizations. The statement added, "During the past six months TSA has produced more than 90 unclassified bulletins of this nature on a wide variety of security-related subjects."

The bulletin said the a joint FBI-Homeland Security Department assessment found that terrorists have conducted probes, dry runs and dress rehearsals in advance of previous attacks.

It cited various types of rehearsals conducted by terrorists before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon; the July 7, 2005, London subway bombings; the Aug. 2, 2006, London-based plot to blow up trans-Atlantic flights using liquid explosives and the 1994 Bojinka plot in the Philippines to blow up multiple airliners over the Pacific Ocean.

The bulletin said the passengers carrying the suspicious items seized since September included men and women and that initial investigation had not linked them with criminal or terrorist organizations. But it added that most of their explanations for carrying the items were suspicious and some were still under investigation.

The four seizures were described this way:

� San Diego, July 7. A U.S. person either a citizen or a foreigner legally here checked baggage containing two ice packs covered in duct tape. The ice packs had clay inside them rather than the normal blue gel.

� Milwaukee, June 4. A U.S. person's carryon baggage contained wire coil wrapped around a possible initiator, an electrical switch, batteries, three tubes and two blocks of cheese. The bulletin said block cheese has a consistency similar to some explosives.

� Houston, Nov. 8, 2006. A U.S. person's checked baggage contained a plastic bag with a 9-volt battery, wires, a block of brown clay-like minerals and pipes.

� Baltimore, Sept. 16, 2006. A couple's checked baggage contained a plastic bag with a block of processed cheese taped to another plastic bag holding a cellular phone charger.

Londonistan paints a picture of a country so terrified of giving offense to its Muslim minority that it has been cowed by radical clerics. Institutions across British society -- the judiciary, security circles, the Church of England, the universities, the media -- have all been reduced to silence or appeasement. ISLASMO-FASCISM AWARENESS DAY

The Terrorism Awareness Project, a program of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, has organized �Islamo Fascism Awareness Day� teach-ins at more than 80 universities across the country.

The April 19 events will feature showings of �Obsession,� a documentary about the terrorist threat from Islamic militants. The film uses interviews with authorities on the Middle East , former jihadists, and experts on terrorism to �take the viewer inside the worldview and plan for world domination of radical Islam,� according to a release from the Freedom Center .

The screenings will be followed by discussions about the terrorist threat.

�Islamo Fascism Awareness Day is necessary because of the denial and ignorance about terrorism on the part of many students,� said Stephen Miller, a senior at Duke University and national coordinator of the Terrorism Awareness Project.

Argentina orders arrest warrant for ex-Iran leader

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Reuters) -- An Argentine judge ordered international arrest warrants on Thursday for former Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and eight others in connection with the 1994 bombing of a Buenos Aires Jewish community center.

The warrants, handed down by Federal Judge Rodolfo Canicoba Corral, came after Argentine prosecutors accused the Iranian government of masterminding the attack that killed 85 people and wounded more than 200 others.

Tehran has repeatedly denied involvement.

On July 18, 1994 , a truck laden with explosives leveled the the seven-story Argentine Israeli Mutual Association building, a symbol of the country's Jewish community -- Latin America 's largest.

No one has been convicted of carrying out the attack despite a lengthy probe beset by irregularities.

But Argentine, Israeli and U.S. officials have long blamed the bombing on Hezbollah guerrillas backed by Iran .

Rafsanjani was Iran 's president from 1989 to 1997.

Israel 's Military Fears War This Summer

Israel 's Defense Forces (IDF) fear a war could break out this summer with Syria , Israel 's Haaretz newspaper reports.

The IDF has decided not to conduct military operations in the Gaza Strip to clean out terrorist nests, believing "that war might break out with Syria this summer," military sources told Haaretz.

The paper added that "intelligence analysts are still uncertain about whether Syrian President Bashar Assad intends to start a war or is merely trying to pressure Israel to resume peace talks."

Still, IDF analysts say " Syria has clearly been preparing for the possibility of war, both through troop training and major arms deals."

Israeli forces are making their primary focus repelling a Syrian attack along its northern border in the Golan Heights . Troubles with their Palestinian neighbors are being downgraded to a secondary priority.

The last time Israel and Syria engaged in full-scale war was 1973 when Syria , along with Egypt , launched a surprise attack on the Jewish state during the country's high holy day of Yom Kippur.

Tables Turned on Michael Moore

Filmmakers Debbie Melnyk and Rick Caine set out to film a biography of someone they truly admired.

However, while producing �Manufacturing Dissent,� the two made a discovery that their hero, Michael Moore, was far from the person, or for that matter the professional that they had imagined.

During their movie making experience, Melnyk and Caine learned about Moore�s fabricated persona; in particular that he did not grow up in working class Flint, Mich., but in Davison, a wealthy nearby suburb.

They discovered that Moore was not removed as editor of Mother Jones for political reasons as he has claimed, but was fired for bad editing. They learned that Moore shot footage of himself and interspersed it with other events to imply things that never actually happened (such as Moore asking Roger Smith, former CEO of General Motors, a question at a shareholders� meeting).

The most devastating information unearthed, though, is that Moore actually did speak with then-GM chairman Roger Smith, whose supposed evasion is the central premise of �Roger & Me,� but withheld the footage from the film. (Premiere previously reported this but �Manufacturing Dissent� actually displays footage of Moore interviewing Smith.)

Other well-known documentary filmmakers such as Errol Morris (�The Fog of War�) express disdain in the film for Moore's documentary style.

By evading interviews with the filmmakers, Moore and his staff behave like the corporate targets that Moore despises. At one event, the filmmakers� soundboard is unplugged while other reporters are allowed to tape. At another event, a staffer kicks the filmmakers out of an arena and throws their camera to the ground.

An indication that the makers of �Manufacturing Dissent� have had a serious change of heart about Moore is revealed in the tagline used to market the film. It reads: �Michael Moore doesn't like documentaries. That's why he doesn't make them.� A slogan that appears on movie posters also conveys their dampened sentiments: �It�s Never Been so Hard to Get Michael Moore in Front of the Camera.�

Because the criticism of Moore comes from self-described �progressive liberals,� who were originally motivated by their admiration for Moore before they reluctantly concluded that he was not what he appeared to be, the mainstream press are actually treating the film differently than similar polemic material from the Right.

Moore�s talent has been to bring humor, a brisk pace and controversy to the documentary genre. �Manufacturing Dissent� demonstrates that Moore also brings fabrication.

The Left Coast Report thinks maybe now there will be more skepticism about Moore from left-of-center folks who in the past refused to question his work.

Pastor Beaten by Radicals While Police Watch

While distributing Christian literature, Pastor M. Aharon, was Mercilessly assaulted by a group of militant Hindus. He was assaulted for converting Hindus and Muslims to Christianity. His face was covered with blood from heavy blows to his mouth and nose. He survived the brutal attack at the hands of Hindu radicals in the town of Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh, located about 300 miles east of Bombay in central India.

During this violent incident, a mob of over 100 Hindu radicals cheered and yelled in support of the attack on Pastor Aharon, inciting the rest of the crowd to turn against him. Police stood by as the extensive attack was being carried out, and the constables even prevented the pastor from escaping. Only after Aharon could barely hold himself up did police begin to escort him from the tumultuous scene. They carried out their attack plan as a secret mission to keep other pastors from spreading the gospel in India.

Pastor Aharon, who has led 700 Hindus and Muslims to Christ and has established 12 churches in this community, has outraged radical Hindus and Muslims. When a VOM contact asked Pastor Aharon what was going through his mind during the attack, he said, �I remembered Christ and many others persecuted for their faith in the last twenty centuries.�

London Times: Saudi Arabia

Bigger Threat than Iran

The Times of London opinion piece is headlined: "You're attacking the wrong nation, Mr. Blair."

In it, commentator Anatole Kaletsky argues that British Prime Minister Tony Blair's bellicose words about Iran in a recent speech are misguided � and that the real terrorist threat originates in Saudi Arabia, an "ally" of the West.

In his December 20 speech in Dubai, Blair called Iran the greatest "strategic threat" in the Middle East and declared that it seeks "to pin us back in Lebanon, in Iraq and in Palestine. Our response should be to expose what they are doing, build the alliances to prevent it and pin them back across the whole of the region."

But Kaletsky points to "the country that really is the financial and spiritual homeland of al-Qaida, the 9/11 terrorists and the majority of foreign insurgents fighting in Iraq. This country is, of course, Saudi Arabia . . .

"The Saudis' ambivalence in the war against jihadi radicalism is hardly surprising, since extremist interpretations of Islam remain far more dominant in Saudi society than they have ever been in Iran or any Middle Eastern country other than Afghanistan under the Taliban.

"Moreover, the radicalization of previously quiescent Muslim populations from Indonesia and Turkey to Britain, Spain and France continues to be directly funded by the Saudi money pouring into Sunni mosques and madrassas inspired by the extremist Wahhabi sect.

"If, as Mr. Blair suggests, the 21st century will be marked by an ideological struggle between Western civilization and Islamic extremism, the main battles will have to be fought with Saudi Arabia, not Iran."

Thorbj�rn Jagland is a former Foreign Minister and Prime Minister of Norway from the Labor Party. He is now President of the Storting, the Norwegian Parliament, and thus technically speaking the highest ranking person in the country, next to the King. He recently wrote an essay to Aftenposten newspaper entitled Islamofobi v�rt nye sp�kelse? (Islamophobia our new ghost/specter?) where he warned against the dangers of Islamophobia. According to Jagland, seemingly paraphrasing the Communist Manifesto, a specter is haunting Europe � the specter of Islamophobia. Between the lines, Jagland seems to hint that the situation in Europe is now similar to that of the 1930s: We are very close to a new world war and the downfall of European democracy, a conclusion I wholeheartedly support. This is also where our agreement ends. According to Mr. Jagland, �far too few people during the interwar period understood what a fateful time they were living in. While those who wanted peace were arguing, Fascism grew stronger. In the point of intersection between the Islamists and Islamophobia, a new type of Fascism could emerge.�

Jagland praises the way the Labor-led Norwegian government handled the crisis after a tiny Christian newspaper, Magazinet, reprinted the now famous twelve cartoons of Muhammad from Jyllands-Posten in Denmark. Velbj�rn Selbekk, the editor of Magazinet, had firmly resisted pressure by Muslim extremists (who made death threats) and by the Norwegian establishment. But then Norway�s Minister of Labor and Social Inclusion hastily called a press conference at a major government office building in Oslo. There Selbekk issued an abject apology for reprinting the cartoons. At his side, accepting his act of contrition on behalf of 46 Muslim organizations and asking that all threats now be withdrawn, was Mohammed Hamdan, head of Norway�s Islamic Council. In attendance were members of the Norwegian cabinet and the largest assemblage of imams in Norway�s history. Although Jagland thinks we ended the cartoon controversy in a good way, he fears that there is still a lot of quiet Islamophobia in the general public because of �the perverted version of Islam promoted by the extremists.� The right-wing Progress Party, already the second largest in Norway, has been growing in the wake of the cartoons affair, and now seems to be in the process of replacing Jagland�s Labor Party as the largest party in the country, for the first time in 80 years.

Thorbj�rn Jagland recommends time-tested Eurabian methods to combat �the rising racism.� He earlier lauded the EU�s decision to begin negotiations with Turkey as �just as important to Europe as the fall of the Berlin Wall,� of course without saying a word about the fact that this was strongly against the wishes of a majority of the people in nearly all EU countries. In particular, Jagland wants Norwegians to learn from the example of our neighbors in Sweden, which is not as �xenophobic� as our other Scandinavian neighbor, Denmark. Is Jagland being serious? Sweden is probably the worst country in the Western world in dealing with these issues. Sweden has a 25% real unemployment rate. What happens if or when the Swedish welfare state collapses? Isn�t it likely that this will trigger a flood of �welfare tourists� to neighboring countries such as Norway? This question hasn�t even been asked, much less debated, by a single political leader in this country. The number of rape charges in Sweden has quadrupled in a generation, parallel to Muslim immigration. Resident aliens from Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia dominate the group of rape suspects. Lawyer Ann Christine Hjelm found that 85 per cent of the convicted rapists in one court were born on foreign soil or of foreign parents. In a new Sociological survey, the wave of robberies the city of Malm� has witnessed during this past year is part of a �war against Swedes.� This is the explanation given by young robbers with immigrant background. �When we are in the city and robbing, we are waging a war, waging a war against the Swedes.� This argument was repeated several times. �Power for me means that Swedes shall look at me, lie down on the ground and kiss my feet.� The boys explain, laughingly, that �there is a thrilling sensation in your body when you�re robbing, you feel satisfied and happy, it feels as if you�ve succeeded, it simply feels good.� �It�s so easy to rob Swedes, so easy.� �We rob every single day, as much as we want to, whenever we want to.� A high school teacher in Malm� discovered that about a dozen Arab students were laughing and shouting �Allahu Akbar!� while watching a DVD of infidel hostages being beheaded in Iraq. The headmaster didn�t think the incident was such a big deal. At least 139 schools in Sweden suffered arson attacks during 2002 alone. Bj�rn Vinberg from the fire department in Kroksb�ck in the Malm� area says it�s humiliating and degrading to put out fires again and again in the same immigrant areas, with school kids laughing at them and lighting a new one just afterwards. His colleagues have been to the same place no less than twenty times, all totally unnecessary. One of the schools in Malm� recently closed down an entire section because of rampant violence, something unheard of in Sweden only a generation ago.

Sweden is a semi-totalitarian country. It�s all about fa�ade. On the surface, Sweden is a tolerant nation and peaceful democracy. In reality, there is massive media censorship by a closed elite that is scared of having a debate about immigration. There are even physical attacks on critics of immigration by Leftist extremists, something which has been largely ignored and thus quietly approved by the establishment, until it now even targets parties in Parliament. No dissent is tolerated. Opinion polls have revealed that two out of three Swedes doubt whether Islam can be combined with Swedish society, and a very significant proportion of the population have for years wanted more limitations in immigration. Yet not one party represented in the Swedish Parliament is genuinely critical of the Multicultural society or the current immigration policies. The Swedish elite congratulate themselves that they have managed to keep �xenophobic� parties from gaining a foothold while the country is sinking underneath their feet. No, Mr. Jagland, we have nothing to learn from Sweden except hypocrisy to perfection. We should study them only in trying to avoid letting them drag us down with them when they fall, which they will.

Curiously, at almost the same time as Mr. Jagland warned against rising �Islamophobia,� an article in newspaper Aftenposten warned that �youths� are in the process of destroying Norway�s capital city, Oslo. Upon closer inspection, it turns out that these �youths� bear a striking resemblance to the same �youths� with Muslim immigrant background that are destroying so many cities across Western Europe:

Youths Destroying Oslo

Criminal youths are in the process of destroying the social environment in Oslo, concludes the Oslo City Court. Young girls are raped and robbed. Schoolchildren are threatened with death, robbed and assaulted. The Stovner-police is now uncovering another violent gang in the Grorudvalley on the outskirts of Oslo. Four boys were robbed Sunday night, February 5. Eight youths, ranging from 15 to 18 years old, were arrested, and are now charged with the robberies. All suspects are of foreign origin. One of the suspects, a Somalian who turned 17 years old last week, appeared in court and was sent to jail in order to protect society. Only four days after being apprehended he was due to stand trial in another robbery case. To avoid letting the youth loose among his peers, he was sent directly to a jail in Oslo to serve time for several robberies, a rape, and assisting another rape.

The 17 year old Somalian has several serious crimes on his conscience, but the worst is probably the rape of a young girl at Hoybraaten (Oslo suburb) one year ago. Oslo Court states that the rape was unusually brutal, and lasted for several hours. The young girl was threatened with a knife and beaten. The Somalian choked the girl so brutally and for so long, that the medical doctor who afterwards treated the girl, said that she could have died. Her voice has changed. The girl is now suffering from severe psychological problems in the aftermath of the attack. The Youth was sentenced to four and half years in prison, where three years was made conditional, which means he will serve only one and a half years. The sentence also included another rape, where his Norwegian-Moroccan friend raped a 13 year old girl, whilst the Somalian helped to threaten her and keep guard. She was also brutally treated, and is experiencing serious problems after the experience. The Court states that the girl was harassed by the family of the Norwegian-Moroccan and his friends. It went so far that the girl was angry at her own mother for giving the name of the rapists to the police. The girl wanted to pay the offenders to make them leave her alone. Her psychological condition became so bad she had to be forcibly sent to a psychological institution. Her schooling is destroyed.

Aftenposten should be commended for even printing this politically incorrect article, which is unfortunately rare in Norwegian media. The original article in Norwegian quickly got more than one hundred comments by readers. There were so many furious comments that the newspaper suddenly decided to remove them. In general, my impression is that a rapidly increasing part of the population distrusts Muslims. Only massive media censorship conceals this fact, and I suspect the same goes for much of Europe. However, Aftenposten seem to have forgotten an article they printed five years ago. In 2001, two out of three charged with rape in Norway�s capital were immigrants with a non-western background according to a police study. Norwegian women were the victims in 80 percent of the cases. A leading member of the Liberal Party (Venstre), Odd Einar D�rum, demanded all the numbers be put on the table: �A scumbag is a scumbag, regardless of skin color�. From 2001 to 2005, D�rum was Norway�s Minister of Justice, and nobody has seen these statistics since 2001. The number of rape charges in Oslo have continued to rise. There is ample evidence of brutal gang rapes, something that used to be rare in Scandinavia, being committed by immigrants against native girls.

Not only have the authorities done nothing to stop this trend of racist attacks against native Norwegians, they have taken steps to increase crackdowns on �racism� by the natives. In 2005 Stortinget, the Norwegian parliament, passed a new Discrimination Act, prepared by then Minister of Integration, Erna Solberg, who earlier called for the establishment of a sharia council in Norway. The act says in pretty clear words that in cases of suspected direct or indirect discrimination based on religion or ethnicity, native Norwegians are guilty until proven otherwise. The immigration spokesman for the right-wing Progress Party, Per Sandberg, feared that the law would jeopardize the rights of ordinary, law-abiding Norwegian citizens. Reverse burden of proof is combined with liability to pay compensation, which means that innocent persons risk having to pay huge sums for things they did not do. FOMI, a Norwegian anti-Islamic website, was recently charged with �racism and spreading Islamophobia� for translating one of several articles by Frontpage Magazine, with comments, about a Muslim rape wave in the West.

Bruce Bawer, author of recently published book �While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam is Destroying the West from Within,� devotes a good deal of space to European media in his writings, which is appropriate. Norwegian Prime Minister and leader of the Labor Party, Jens Stoltenberg, has stated that �journalistic diversity is too important to be left up to the marketplace.� The government is still running two out of Norway�s four national TV channels, and three of its national radio channels. NRK, the Norwegian equivalent of the BBC or Burka Broadcasting Corporation in the UK, complete with the same anti-American, anti-Israeli and pro-Islamic bias, was the only national TV channel in Norway until 1992, three years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Leader of the right-wing Progress Party, Mr. Carl I. Hagen, has labelled NRK �ARK,� or �Labor Party�s Broadcasting Company,� since until the 90s, most of its leaders were former leading members of the Labor Party. In addition to this, something that would be unthinkable in the USA, Norwegian taxpayers actually subsidize commercial Norwegian newspapers. This is supposedly to ensure diversity of opinions. This system means that Norwegian taxpayers, whether they want to or not, subsidize the existence of Norwegian Communist newspaper Klassekampen (The Class Struggle), whose members in the 1970s strenuously denied any mass-murders done by Pol Pot and his comrades in Cambodia, denouncing these accusations as �capitalist lies� to slime a successful, Socialist nation. Norway�s only professor of journalism at the University level, Sigurd Allern, is a former leader of the Communist Party. He is today teaching critical thinking to aspiring journalists at the University of Oslo.

At the same time, Norway can hardly come up with a single decent conservative newspaper, the closest being business daily Dagens N�ringsliv. The most rightist newspapers, such as Aftenposten or VG, could at best be described as centrist or even soft-leftist, with a few individual journalists as being centre-right. Diversity of media in Norway thus means the whole range from hard-leftist to soft-leftist, with the Norwegian equivalent of the New York Times being as far right as you get. As Bawer notes, when he first came to Norway, he was impressed by the number of newspapers the average citizen reads on a daily basis. Only later did he start to question what information they were actually presented in these newspapers.

Norwegians pride themselves in their sophisticated and informed view of the world, viewing Americans as somewhat simplistic and brainwashed by FOX News propaganda. The very word or concept of �Eurabia� has hardly been mentioned at all in Norwegian media. One prominent journalist, not a Leftist by Norwegian standard, told me that Eurabia is just another conspiracy theory, on par with The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. Kari Vogt, historian of religion at the University of Oslo and widely considered and quoted as the leading expert on Islam in the country, has stated that Ibn Warraq�s book �Why I am Not a Muslim� is just as irrelevant to the study of Islam as The Protocols are to the study of Judaism. A Norwegian NGO called the Freedom of Expression Fund supports the translation and publication of bin Laden�s speeches. They also awarded the editor of Communist newspaper Klassekampen with the Freedom of Speech award for his bravery in defence of free speech. He has shown sympathies for Islamic terrorists in his columns.

For some strange reason, Bruce Bawer�s book has so far been widely ignored by Norwegian media, despite the fact that Bawer lives in Norway and that his work is being read with interests by experts and laymen on both sides of the Atlantic. Could it be that Mr. Bawer has touched upon some sensitive issues that the sophisticated Norwegian press don�t want to talk about? Michael Moore�s books criticizing the USA were translated into Norwegian and sold very well. Any chance this will happen to Bawer�s book, criticizing Europe?

Mr. Jagland worries about the possibilities of a new kind of powerful Fascist movement in Europe, and quite frankly, so do I. But there is no need for this to happen if people feel that their elected leaders uphold their interests they way they are supposed to do. However, when a government can no longer guarantee, within reason, the safety of its citizens, that government�s days are numbered and that system of government�s days may also be numbered. It took centuries of hard and ingenious work to build our civilized Western society, yet judging from current events, it may take just a few short decades for this civilization to commit collective suicide. It is amazing to see such a rapid dissolution of centuries old European countries due to immigration without assimilation. I have read Norwegian historians and �experts� who claim that there is nothing to worry about over this massive immigration, since there has always been immigration and this situation is not new.

This is a clever form of lie. At the beginning of the 21st century, the total number of people on this planet is vastly larger than ever before in the history of the human race. Combined with modern means of communication, we get the largest and fastest population transfers ever recorded, large enough to destroy nations or, in the case of Europe, perhaps even entire continents. This is �the great extinction of peoples,� and small Scandinavian nations with a few million inhabitants, a drop in the sea of humanity, will be completely crushed by these processes unless they take strong steps to limit immigration. That�s the simple truth. Yet all our so-called leaders can do is warn against �xenophobia.� Dr. Ole J�rgen Anfindsen, editor of HonestThinking.org, believes that Norwegian authorities have cheated with prognoses for the number of immigrants. According to his numbers, ethnic Norwegians will become a minority in their own country before 2050 if the current trends continue, in Oslo long before this. The number of Muslims in Norway over 15 years has quadrupled, meaning an annual growth of more than 9%.

Norway celebrated 100 years as an independent state last year. Judging from the new Discrimination Act and the runaway Muslim immigration, perhaps the anniversary should be called �From independence to colonization�. At the same time as their women are no longer safe in the streets because of immigrant gangs, the authorities respond by making Norwegians de facto second-rate citizens in their own country. They use their own people as stepping stones for their personal careers in the UN bureaucracy, lecturing about how to create the perfect society while their own citizens find it increasingly hard to live in their major cities. We have no significant colonial history ourselves and denounce all forms of colonialism, but are supposed to smile when we are colonized ourselves. We were one of the poorest countries in Europe at the beginning of the 20th century, and one of the richest in the world at the beginning of the 21st. We managed this transformation entirely on our own, and didn�t �plunder� anybody for it. We don�t owe anything to anyone, except perhaps the British and the Americans for preserving our freedom during WW2 and the Cold War. It is true that Norway is a special case, with its oil wealth since the 1970s, today the third largest exporter in the world after Saudi Arabia and Russia. But even wealth has to be managed. Norway is probably the only major oil exporting country on the planet that has managed to remain a stable democracy with low levels of corruption. By any standards possible, we�re one of the most successful cultures in the world, our largest flaw, which could eventually bury us, probably being our naivety. So why on earth should we quietly watch while our country is subdued by the most unsuccessful cultures in the world? The most basic instinct of all living things, even down to bacteria level, is self-preservation. In 2006, you have a natural right to self-preservation if you are an amoeba, but not if you�re a Scandinavian. Maybe the solution then is to argue that Scandinavians are indeed a species of amoebas, and that we need special protection by the WWF. We could showcase some of our finest specimen of Leftist intellectuals and journalists to prove our point. Shouldn�t be too hard.

With current trends remaining unchanged, native Norwegians will be a minority in their own capital city within a couple of decades, a situation that has never happened before since the foundation of Oslo a thousand years ago. Judging from all experience with Muslims previously, non-Muslim Norwegians will be ruthlessly persecuted, either cornered into a civil war or forced to flee from what was once their country. Newcomers move into an area and brutalize the natives who have become too soft to uphold themselves. There is nothing new about this scenario; it has been going on for thousands of years, as long as mankind has existed. It is the harsh law of nature. What is unique in this case is that the original inhabitants of this country are forced to fund their own colonization and eventual extinction by their own leaders, who portray this as an act of �tolerance.� I�m pretty sure that hasn�t happened before.

Thorbj�rn Jagland, sticking to true, Eurabian form, also recommends increased pressure on Israel to solve the �Palestinian issue.� Why doesn�t he talk to his old friend from the Labor Party, Mr. Terje R�d-Larsen, a key player during the Oslo process, who has publicly admitted that �Arafat lied all the time and knew he was lying.� There never was an Oslo Peace Process, only a hudna, a temporary truce with the infidels to buy time and destroy the Israelis later, just as Muhammad did in the treaty of Hudaybiyya. The only peace process we will have in Oslo in the future will be when Israel sends special envoy Binyamin Netanyahu to negotiate a division of the country between Muslims and the native Norwegians that haven�t fled to the USA. Who knows, maybe the Norwegian Nobel Committee will award him the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts.

This week, Olav Versto, political editor of the largest newspaper in Norway, VG, supported the decision to keep sending money to the Palestinian Hamas government. VG as a newspaper was created during the resistance to Nazi occupation during WW2. It is a sad day for this country and this continent when institutions that fought Nazi Germany end up appeasing the anti-democratic forces of our age. Darkness is descending upon Europe when Europeans are no longer safe in their own cities from harassment by Muslim immigrants, and the only thing our so-called leaders do about this is recommending a 500% increase in the number of Muslims by letting Turkey into the EU, giving more money to Islamic terrorists and working to silence �Islamophobia� by their own people.

But remember, Eurabia is a conspiracy theory only American simpletons believe, and Fjordman is just a racist, right-wing nutcase. Our state-sponsored Leftist newspapers tell us so, so it must be true.

'Invented Segments' for Book

A longtime aide to Jimmy Carter has resigned from the Carter Center think tank, calling the former president's new book on Israel and the Arabs one-sided and filled with errors.

Kenneth Stein, the Carter Center's first executive director and founder of its Middle East program, sent a letter that bluntly criticized the book to Carter and others.

Stein wrote that the book, "Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid," was replete with factual errors, material copied from other sources and "simply invented segments," according to an excerpt of the letter published by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Deanna Congileo, Carter's spokeswoman, said the former president stands by the book.

Stein, who is also director of the Institute for the Study of Modern Israel at Emory University, did not immediately return a call Wednesday.

Carter issued a brief statement saying that Stein had not been actively involved with the center for more than 12 years and was not involved with the new book. Carter did not directly address Stein's allegations.

It is not the first time Carter and Stein have disagreed over Middle East policy, said Douglas Brinkley, a professor of history at Tulane University and the author of the 1988 Carter biography, "The Unfinished Presidency."

"They've never been on the same page in the Middle East. They've been in an almost constant state of disagreement," Brinkley said. Stein "doesn't trust the Palestinians as much as Carter."

Israeli Official: Strike On Iran Possible

The deputy defense minister suggested in comments published Friday that Israel might be forced to launch a military strike against Iran's nuclear program - the clearest statement yet of such a possibility from a high-ranking official.

"I am not advocating an Israeli pre-emptive military action against Iran and I am aware of its possible repercussions," Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh, a former general, told The Jerusalem Post. "I consider it a last resort. But even the last resort is sometimes the only resort."

Sneh's comments did not necessarily reflect the view of Israel's government or of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, said government spokeswoman Miri Eisin.

Israel sees Iran as the greatest threat to its survival. Hard-line Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has frequently called for Israel's destruction, and Israelis do not believe his claims that Iran's nuclear program is meant to develop energy, not arms.

Israel crippled Iraq's atomic program 25 years ago with an airstrike on its unfinished nuclear reactor. Experts say Iran has learned from Iraq's mistakes, scattering its nuclear facilities and building some underground.

Sneh's tough talk is the boldest to date by a high-ranking Israeli official. Olmert and other Israeli leaders frequently discuss the Iranian threat in grave terms, but stop short of threatening military action.

Years of diplomacy have failed to persuade Iran to modify its nuclear program so it can't develop weapons.

1. Israel Has Six Months to Hit Iran

Iran is accelerating its uranium enrichment efforts and Israel could have only six months to destroy Tehran�s nuclear capabilities or risk an Iranian nuclear attack, according to influential Israeli columnist Caroline Glick.

�Just as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has dropped nearly all pretenses about his intentions to achieve nuclear weapons, so too he makes it clear daily that he intends to use such weapons to annihilate Israel,� Glick writes in the Jerusalem Post.

�With Iran speeding up its program, Israel may have as little as six months to launch a strike on its nuclear facilities before they can start churning out atomic bombs.�

But other developments may constrict Israel�s ability to act, Glick warns.

To the north in Lebanon, French-commanded U.N. forces are turning a blind eye to the weapons being smuggled to Hezbollah terrorist forces from Syria.

What�s more, France�s Defense Minister has called Israeli Air Force flights over Lebanon �extremely dangerous� and said France�s forces there could fire on the Israeli flights.

The U.N. forces �are making it clear that they view the IDF [Israeli Defense Force], not Hezbollah, as their enemy,� Glick reports.

�Were Israel to attempt to take action against Hezbollah or Syria to prevent them from attacking in anticipation of an Israeli strike on Iran, there can be little doubt how [the U.N.] forces would respond.�

To the south, Egypt is increasing its military presence along its border with the Gaza Strip and �assiduously preparing its military for war against Israel,� according to Glick.

The Egyptian government, she notes, is �colluding� with smugglers bringing increasingly sophisticated weapons to Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.

Glick, who has been sharply critical of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his government�s tepid responses to the growing threats, added:

�As if having hostile Europeans guarding genocidal Iranian proxies in the north, and hostile Egyptians guarding and arming genocidal Palestinians in the south weren�t enough, it was reported that the Olmert government is considering allowing thousands of armed PLO terrorists from the Badr Brigade in Jordan to relocate to Gaza.

�It doesn�t have to be this way.�

Christian Beaten by Muslims for "Polluting" a Public Drinking Glass

Nasir Ashraf, a Christian stone mason, was brutally attacked by militant Muslims just outside Lahore.

While working on the construction of a room at a school near Manga Mandi in Pakistan, Nasir took a break after becoming thirsty. He drew water and drank from a glass chained to a cemented public water tank next to a mosque, which was reserved for "all" poor people. Returning to the construction site, a Muslim man asked him, "Why did you drink water from this glass since you are a Christian?" The man accused Nasir of polluting the glass. The Muslim man yanked the glass off the iron chain, broke it and threw it in a garbage can. The man summoned other militant Muslims to the scene, furiously saying, "This Christian polluted our glass." Hearing this, the incensed mob began beating Nasir, yelling that a Christian dog drank water from their glass.

The militant Muslims encouraged bystanders to beat Nasir because it would be a "good" deed that would benefit them in heaven. The attackers pushed Nasir off a ledge onto the ground. The impact of the fall dislocated his shoulder and broke his collar bone in two places. This knocked Nasir unconscious and he did not regain his senses until he reached a clinic. A doctor told Nasir that some people had brought him there.

Nasir's father took him home and a VOM representative was alerted about the incident. VOMedical is helping with Nasir's medical treatment and is monitoring his recovery from the attack.

In a speech made in September 2006AD, Benedict ( the present �pope�) quoted from a book citing the words of a Byzantine emperor who characterized some of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, Islam's founder, as "evil and inhuman."

An Italian nun also was gunned down in a Somali hospital where she worked, and the Vatican expressed concern that the attack was related to the outrage over the pope's remarks. The Italian nun, who was not immediately identified, was shot in the back at S.O.S. Hospital in the Somali capital of Mogadishu by two gunmen, said Mohamed Yusuf, a doctor at the facility. The nun's bodyguard and a hospital worker were also killed, doctors said.

Dick Morris: Clinton Attack 'Outrageous'

The attack by Bill Clinton and his allies on the upcoming ABC miniseries "The Path to 9/11" is "outrageous," charges former Clinton aide Dick Morris.

As NewsMax has reported, Clinton through his surrogates have demanded that ABC "correct all errors" in the docudrama or pull it from the air, charging that it is a "fictitious rewriting of history" regarding Clinton 's handling of the terrorist threat.

But Morris claims that Clinton 's national security adviser, Sandy Berger, and the president himself "were both responsible for failing to catch or kill Osama bin Laden on several different occasions."

Morris served Clinton as an adviser for 20 years and notably as Clinton 's senior campaign strategist during his 1996 re-election.

Morris states that the evidence for this failure is documented in the 9/11 Commission's report and summarized in "Because He Could," the book about Clinton that Morris co-authored with his wife Eileen McGann.

The commission's report, released in the summer of 2004, "highlighted the weak, incompetent, hesitant, and inconsistent attempts of the Clinton administration to kill or capture Osama bin Laden," according to the book, which devotes an entire chapter to Clinton 's mishandling of the threat.

"The report's account shows the president and his advisers at their worst."

One time, the United States "canceled an attempt to kidnap bin Laden out of concern that we might injure or kill him and be accused of using assassination as a policy tool," Morris told NewsMax.

"The president had yet to make a finding that it was OK to kill bin Laden. The reason he had not is that he did not yet know bin Laden's connection to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The reason he did not know that is that he did not fast-track the investigation.

"A second time, we did fire missiles but alerted the Pakistani military to our plans and they tipped off bin Laden, and he escaped."

According to the commission's report, the United States alerted Pakistan because the missiles targeting bin Laden, who was in Afghanistan, had to cross Pakistan, and U.S. officials did not want Pakistan to think the missiles came from India.

"A third time, our plans to attack by missile were canceled, partially out of chagrin over having missed him before and partially because we had just bombed the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade by mistake and were worried about being called trigger happy," said Morris.

"The president was also concerned about civilian deaths in any such attack.

"The underlying theme of the ABC coverage, that he was distracted by impeachment, is of course true. But more so, he was gun-shy" because he was afraid conservatives would say he had launched a failed attack "in an effort to 'wag the dog' and distract people from the Monica Lewinsky affair."

Morris concluded: "His fear of such attacks on him inhibited him from acting."
