Dear Renee:

Thank you for your letter. I pray that my answer, which is based upon God�s Word and not human reasoning, will cause you to open your heart and life to Jesus Christ. And to reject Satan, the liar, deceiver and fount of all evil, who was defeated by Jesus Christ�s substitutionary death and glorious resurrection!

You are using human reasoning, my friend, to deal with things you do not understand. The Bible says: "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Cor. 2: 14)

God�s Word states: "Love NOT the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away and the lust thereof, but he that doeth the will of God abides for ever." (1 John 2: 15-17)

The Bible states: "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that FRIENDSHIP OF THE `WORLD is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." (James 4: 4) "This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish." (James 3: 15)

THE BIBLE IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY!

The Bible is the Word of God and His Word is true! God cannot lie. He has not lied and He will not lie! God cannot fail. He has not failed and He will not fail. God cannot change. He has not changed and He will not change! Our Lord said: �I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.� (John 14: 6)

Jesus called the devil by three names: Satan (from the Hebrew) meaning adversary, enemy; devil (from the Greek) meaning liar, false accuser, traducer; Beelzebub, meaning 'god of flies', filthy, unclean. And Satan is a murderer!

Jesus said: �Ye are of your father the DEVIL, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He (Satan) was a MURDERER from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a LIAR and the father of it.� (John 8: 44)

Satan is a despicable liar and deceiver! Only an ignorant, fearful or stupid person would believe in, serve or appease such a wicked BULLY. The Bible prophecies his judgment: �And the DEVIL that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the Beast and the False Prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.� (Rev. 20: 10)

The �Battle of the Ages� is the battle between God, Who is totally good and the devil - who the personification of evil. The following Scriptures prove that Lucifer the fallen and rebellious archangel is totally defeated and no threat to those who believe in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord!

�And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the DEVILS (demons) are subject unto us through Thy name. And He (Jesus) said unto them, I beheld Satan as lighting fall from Heaven. Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the ENEMY: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. � (Luke 10: 17-19)

�And Jesus said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they CAST OUT DEVILS��

He is predacious as in �living off prey�, a predator. He is putrid as in rotten, foul, thoroughly corrupt, disgustingly filthy and depraved! He is tenacious as in stubborn, obstinate, sticky and persistent!

He is incessant as in ceaseless, continual and never stopping. He is a pursuer as in one who follows, stalks to catch, harm, destroy or kill! Jesus Christ stated: �The thief (devil) cometh not, but for to STEAL, KILL and to DESTROY; I am come that they might have life and more abundantly.� (John 10: 10)

After his close brush with death at the hands of a deranged assassin, U.S. President Ronald Reagan was asked by his Pastor: �Were you ready to die, Mr. President?� Ronald Reagan answered: �No, I have much more work to do!� The Pastor continued: �No, I meant, were you ready to meet God?� The President answered: �Yes.� �Why?� asked the Pastor. �I have a Saviour�, replied the President.

How can you say that Satan is the hated enemy of God and man? God is loving and we should love our enemy. If you are a christian you love everyone including the devil. That is the only way to get around the devil, he is the god of this world and he is controlling the mind of the people.

Did God create evil?
The University professor challenged his students with this question.
"Did God create everything that exists?"
A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!"
"God created everything?" The professor asked.
"Yes sir", the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then God is evil."
The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question
professor?"
"Of course", replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Professor does cold exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question.
The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy.
Absolute zero (-460? F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."
The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does."

The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."
Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"
Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world.
These manifestations are nothing else but evil.
To this the student replied, "Evil dies not exist sir, or at least it does
not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like
darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

Dear Anthony:

My answer is "No".

Believers have gone through trials and tribulations ever since the Church was born on the Day of Pentecost.

Millions of Christians were tortured, imprisoned and martyred under the iron fist of the Roman Empire and for about five hundred years during the Middle Ages under the bloody old Vatican Wolf .

And for the past thirty years or so - according to Dr. David Barrett, a statistician - about 330,000 Christians have died annually somewhere for their faith in Christ under Muslim, Communist and other totalitarian regimes! Last year alone, more than 150,000 Christians died for the name of Jesus somewhere in the world!

I believe, however, that we are now living in very perilous times and the signs of Christ's Return are being fulfilled daily. I have never seen before, in nearly 50 years of Bible study, so many prophecies being fulfilled before our eyes!

Even before my conversion to Christ in 1957, I was convinced of the nearness of our Lord's Second Coming by studying Ezekiel 37, 38 & 39. The rebirth of the nation of Israel on May 14, 1948 fulfilled Ezekiel's prophecy of the dry bones coming back to life. Chapters 38 & 39 deal with Russia, Germany and Turkey together with Iran, Ethiopia, Libya and a horde of Muslim nations joining together to destroy Israel!

That is beginning to happen now! Russia is making tons of money due to the terribly high oil prices and she is again asserting her influence in favour of the Muslim nations.

Hatred against Jewish people and Israel has increased exponentially in Europe due to the fear of offending Arab nations who are on an unholy crusade to destroy God's chosen people and conquer Israel 's 3,000 year old capital city of Jerusalem !

The 24-caret-fanatic & terrorist president of Iran , Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently divulged that the Twelfth & Last Imam is alive now and living in Iran . He is called the �Hidden Imam� who according to a 941 A.D. occult prophecy, when the Shiites went into 'Grand Occultation', should be revealed in a time of great turmoil as the Messiah of the Muslims!

The frightening truth of why Iran wants a bomb

Last Monday, just before he announced that Iran had gate-crashed "the nuclear club", President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad disappeared for several hours. He was having a khalvat (t�te-�-t�te) with the Hidden Imam, the 12th and last of the imams of Shiism who went into "grand occultation" in 941.

According to Shia lore, the Imam is a messianic figure who, although in hiding, remains the true Sovereign of the World. In every generation, the Imam chooses 36 men, (and, for obvious reasons, no women) naming them the owtad or "nails", whose presence, hammered into mankind's existence, prevents the universe from "falling off". Although the "nails" are not known to common mortals, it is, at times, possible to identify one thanks to his deeds. It is on that basis that some of Ahmadinejad's more passionate admirers insist that he is a "nail", a claim he has not discouraged. For example, he has claimed that last September, as he addressed the United Nations' General Assembly in New York , the "Hidden Imam drenched the place in a sweet light".

Last year, it was after another khalvat that Ahmadinejad announced his intention to stand for president. Now, he boasts that the Imam gave him the presidency for a single task: provoking a "clash of civilisations" in which the Muslim world, led by Iran, takes on the "infidel" West, led by the United States, and defeats it in a slow but prolonged contest that, in military jargon, sounds like a low intensity, asymmetrical war.

In Ahmadinejad's analysis, the rising Islamic "superpower" has decisive advantages over the infidel. Islam has four times as many young men of fighting age as the West, with its ageing populations. Hundreds of millions of Muslim "ghazis" (holy raiders) are keen to become martyrs while the infidel youths, loving life and fearing death, hate to fight. Islam also has four-fifths of the world's oil reserves, and so controls the lifeblood of the infidel. More importantly, the US , the only infidel power still capable of fighting, is hated by most other nations.

According to this analysis, spelled out in commentaries by Ahmadinejad's strategic guru, Hassan Abassi, known as the "Dr Kissinger of Islam", President George W Bush is an aberration, an exception to a rule under which all American presidents since Truman, when faced with serious setbacks abroad, have "run away". Iran 's current strategy, therefore, is to wait Bush out. And that, by "divine coincidence", corresponds to the time Iran needs to develop its nuclear arsenal, thus matching the only advantage that the infidel enjoys.

Moments after Ahmadinejad announced "the atomic miracle", the head of the Iranian nuclear project, Ghulamreza Aghazadeh, unveiled plans for manufacturing 54,000 centrifuges, to enrich enough uranium for hundreds of nuclear warheads. "We are going into mass production," he boasted.

The Iranian plan is simple: playing the diplomatic game for another two years until Bush becomes a "lame-duck", unable to take military action against the mullahs, while continuing to develop nuclear weapons.

Thus do not be surprised if, by the end of the 12 days still left of the United Nations' Security Council "deadline", Ahmadinejad announces a "temporary suspension" of uranium enrichment as a "confidence building measure". Also, don't be surprised if some time in June he agrees to ask the Majlis (the Islamic parliament) to consider signing the additional protocols of the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Such manoeuvres would allow the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director, Muhammad El-Baradei, and Britain 's Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, to congratulate Iran for its "positive gestures" and denounce talk of sanctions, let alone military action. The confidence building measures would never amount to anything, but their announcement would be enough to prevent the G8 summit, hosted by Russia in July, from moving against Iran .

While waiting Bush out, the Islamic Republic is intent on doing all it can to consolidate its gains in the region. Regime changes in Kabul and Baghdad have altered the status quo in the Middle East . While Bush is determined to create a Middle East that is democratic and pro-Western, Ahmadinejad is equally determined that the region should remain Islamic but pro-Iranian. Iran is now the strongest presence in Afghanistan and Iraq, after the US . It has turned Syria and Lebanon into its outer defences, which means that, for the first time since the 7th century, Iran is militarily present on the coast of the Mediterranean .
