Satan, the Prince of Darkness, is said to be on the loose across the world!

By the very nature of his person, he stands indicted of collusion in the recent cult suicides, terrorist bombings, and wholesale slaughter, slavery and genocide in Africa and other nations!

Since his defeat and ouster from heaven - FOR HIGH TREASON - Satan delights in deceiving, confusing and injuring mankind, who was made in God’s image.

Lucifer - the defrocked archangel - has a score to settle. He is striking out indiscriminately, knowing he has limited time to wage war against Jesus Christ and mankind.

He’s ingenious, deceptive and dangerous. Like an escaped terrorist - WITH ACCESS TO EXPLOSIVE FIRE POWER - this rebel extraordinaire is on a final kamikaze mission to regain lost power, position and authority!

According to the Holy Bible Scriptures he will not succeed. His doom is sealed forever. In God’s time, he will be punished for his evil deeds and banished forever in “the lake of fire”.

At present, however, he is deceiving and confusing a lot of people. Pope John Paul calls him “a cosmic liar”. And that’s what he is - a cosmic liar and terrorist.

The effects of his terrorism are felt across the globe. They have also been creating waves across Canada.

The suicides of teenagers Wayne Townsend, Ashley Merrick and Chilton Thur of Lethbridge a number of years ago are shedding light on the sinister world of heavy-metal music and Satanism.

Police investigated an alleged suicide pact among teenagers in southwestern Alberta and reported that up to 60 Lethbridge adolescents were involved in occult practices.

Speaking of her son, Rhea Thur said: “Once he got started in this, his grades started falling because of his truancy from school. His art work changed. He was cutting himself and writing in his own blood”.

Townsend’s mother stated: “Before he died, Wayne brought Satanic books home. This bothered me and I took them away because I believe evil forces exist”.

According to the St. Albert Gazette, teenagers there were also practicing devil worship and at least one person had tried to kill herself as a sacrifice to Satan.

“I wanted to be closer to him ( Satan ) to prove I was one of his chosen”, said a 15 year old girl.

Lisa was part of a hard-core group of five teenage devil worshippers who claimed to communicate with Satan. His message is to commit acts of violence to glorify evil.

Winnipeg police constable Russ Heslop is alarmed at the spread of Satanism with its accompanying crime and violence in that city.

“If we were to write down things that we’ve seen, people would not believe it”, states Heslop.

Tommy Sullivan of Jefferson, N.J. seemed to be a normal 14 year old. Then he stabbed his mother to death, set fire to their home and killed himself.

Before these tragic events, he had become obsessed with Satan. He took out a contract to kill his family and spent a lot of time listening to heavy rock music.

Paul Hart, a detective with the Jefferson police, worked on the Sullivan case and decided to study the issue of Satanism and teenagers.

He is convinced that Satanism does exist among teenagers and can have serious criminal, as well as moral, consequences.

Some time ago, New York City’s Cardinal O’Conner denounced rocker Ozzie Osbourne’s tune Suicide Solution - “SUICIDE IS THE ONLY WAY OUT. DON’T YOU KNOW WHAT IT’S REALLY ABOUT”?

The cardinal warned of “diabolically-instigated violence” and that heavy-metal rock music can be the vehicle that introduces youngsters to Satanic practices.

While preaching about the devil’s temptation of Jesus, O’Conner confirmed that Satan is a reality and does possess people. He told reporters of two successful exorcisms that had taken place in his archdiocese over the period of a year.

It’s no coincidence that 14 year old Ashley Merrick wrote in his suicide note that he wanted the song Fade To Black by heavy-metal group Metallica, played at his funeral.

Adolf Hitler, one of the most infamous men of this century, was a great believer in occult practices such as astrology, fortune telling and witchcraft. And Manuel Noriega - one of Hitler’s admirers - was allegedly involved in many bizarre occult practices, including “palo mayombe”, which involves human sacrifice.

One of Satan’s names is Beelzebub which, in Greek, means “the god of flies”. Now, archaeologists think they have found the remains of an ancient city dedicated to the Prince of Demons.

The good news is that Satan has no legal right to harass anyone who has put his faith in Jesus Christ!

As the Son of God was dying on the cross to redeem mankind from Satan’s grasp, He shouted: “It is finished”.

The Greek word he used was “tetelestai”, which is taken from the verb “teleo”. This verb has three essential meanings: (1) to accomplish something or bring something to an end, (2) to fulfill something, and (3) to pay that which is owed.

JESUS CHRIST ACCOMPLISHED SALVATION’S PLAN FOR US. HE BROUGHT TO AN END SATAN’S DOMINION OVER US. HE FULFILLED ALL THE OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES ABOUT THE COMING MESSIAH AND HE PAID FOR OUR TOTAL SALVATION THROUGH HIS DEATH ON THE CROSS AND GUARANTEED IT BY HIS GLORIOUS RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD!

And that includes freedom from the devil!
