He

I
RECEIVED
A HEALING
MIRACLE
FROM
JESUS
CHRIST
Dear
Brother
Max
Solbrekken,
Greetings
in the
Name of
our Lord
&
Saviour
Jesus
Christ!
I
am
writing
this
letter
to give
testimony
of what
the Lord
has been
doing in
my life.
I was
raised
in a
Christian
home, 15
minutes
west of
Fort
Qu’Appelle,
Saskatchewan.
I
knew the
Lord all
my life
and
accepted
Jesus
into my
heart as
a young
boy.
When I
was nine
years
old,
Brother
Max
Solbrekken
baptized
me at a
camp
meeting
in Fort
Qu’Appelle,
SK.
However,
by the
age of
14, I
backslid
and went
into the
world.
All the
time I
was in
the
world,
the Lord
had his
hand
upon me.
Thanks
to the
faithful
prayers
of my
parents
and the
word of
God
which
says,
“train
up a
child in
the way
he
should
go: and
when he
is old,
he will
not
depart
from
it”.
(Proverbs
22:6)
The
whole
time
Jesus
was
calling
me back
to Him,
for His
word
says,
“Behold
I stand
at the
door,
and
knock:
if any
man hear
my
voice,
and open
the
door, I
will
come
into
him, and
I will
sup with
him, and
he with
me”.
(Revelation
3:20)
In
1984 I
met and
married
my wife
Karen.
She too
felt the
Lord
calling
her. In
1990, we
both
rededicated
our
lives
back to
Christ.
Glory to
God!
In
1992,
the Lord
called
me into
the
street
ministry.
The
church
where I
was
fellowshipping
started
a street
ministry.
Myself
and a
few
others
started
going
out on a
bus
turned
mobile
home.
We
went out
and
talked
to the
people
on the
street
about
the
Lord. In
1993, a
friend
of mine
died of
AIDS. I
thank
the Lord
I had
time to
talk to
him
about
Jesus.
He
accepted
Jesus
into his
heart
before
he died,
Praise
God!
It
was at
this
time the
Lord
impressed
upon my
heart a
home for
HIV and
homeless
people.
In 1995,
I lost
my uncle
to this
disease,
this was
the year
I
started
working
on
getting
a home.
By
the end
of the
year the
Lord
blessed
us with
a
$89,000
home.
The home
has six
bedrooms,
two
bathrooms
and a
garage
which we
turned
into a
quiet
place
for
prayer
and
getting
alone
with the
Lord.
Many
have
come
through
the
doors of
Aman
House
and have
given
their
lives to
Jesus.
The
street
ministry
is busy,
there
are so
many
lost
souls
who need
Jesus.
We have
seen
children
hungry,
we have
seen
child
prostitution,
many
drug
addicts
and
homeless
people.
In 1998,
only by
the
grace of
God, we
were
able to
acquire
a 25
foot
mobile
home.
Through
this
mobile
home, we
feed
soup and
bannock
to the
hungry
and
share
about
the
saving
grace of
our Lord
Jesus
Christ.
Last
year,
the Lord
opened
the
doors
for a
group of
us to
minister
in the
jail.
We’ve
been
going
out once
a week
to
counsel
inmates.
Last
month,
the
service
was
wonderful,
you
could
feel the
Holy
Spirit
strong
in that
place.
We made
an altar
call and
about 20
inmates
responded,
15 of
them
gave
their
hearts
to
Jesus.
The
number
of
inmates
that
come out
are
between
45-90.
In
the fall
of 1997,
we
opened a
drop-in
centre
downtown
where we
provided
free
coffee
and
sometimes
doughnuts,
when
they
were
available.
There,
we were
able to
reach
out to
many.
We
started
having
services
3 times
a week.
We have
since
turned
the
coffee
shop
into a
church,
which I
now a
pastor.
We have
had to
take
down
some
walls
because
of the
amount
of
people
coming
out.
Well,
we ran
out of
walls to
tear
down and
our
place is
just too
small.
In July
’99,
we will
be
moving
to a
larger
place
two
doors
down.
However,
this
place
does
require
a lot of
renovations.
I
thought
of
moving
someplace
else
where we
wouldn’t
have to
put as
much
renovating
into the
place,
but the
Lord
spoke to
me to
stay in
this
area.
This is
a hard
area, a
lot of
people
walk in
front of
our
building
on drugs
or
alcohol.
We
have had
quite a
few of
these
people
come in
and
inquire
about
God and
sometimes
we have
had our
services
interrupted,
but it
is so
rewarding
when you
see
souls
won over
to
Christ.
The Lord
seems to
say,
just
press
on.
The
renovations
on the
new
building
are
approximately
$15,000.
We need
to
install
two
bathrooms,
some
doors,
drywall,
paint,
carpet
and
chairs.
Once
again,
we are
looking
to the
Lord to
provide
the
finances.
God says
in His
word,
“For
with God
nothing
shall be
impossible”.
(Luke
1:37)
A
couple
of years
ago we
were
able to
acquire
a
charitable
number.
The
helps
people
to give
because
it shows
we are
accountable
for our
finances.
I just
thank
the Lord
how He
has
worked
things
out. “And
we know
that all
things
work
together
for good
to them
that
love
God, to
them who
are the
called
according
to His
purpose”.
(Romans
8:28)
The
Lord has
blessed
me and
my wife
with
four
beautiful
children,
2 sons
and 2
daughters.
Our
oldest
boy will
be 14
years
old this
year and
the
younger
boy is
10 years
old. Our
girls
are 5
and 2
years
old.
I
just
thank
God for
His many
blessings
upon us.
And I
ask that
you
would
keep us
in your
prayers.
I thank
the Lord
for you
dear
brother,
“The
Lord
bless
thee,
and keep
thee:
The Lord
make his
face to
shine
upon
thee,
and be
gracious
unto
thee;
the Lord
lift up
His
countenance
upon
thee,
and give
thee
peace”.
(Num.
6:25)
