CHRIST’S
CROSS
AND
OUR
SINS!
The world has a way of crucifying those whom it does not like.
Jesus told the truth. The world could not stand the truth. The
world put Him to death.
What
sin really crucified Christ? Was it Peter’s denial? Judas’
betrayal? The disciples’cowardice? Can we blame Pilate for
conforming to the crowd’s demands? Does the fault lie with those
who cried, “Crucify Him”? Did the priests weigh in on the
crime?
It was
all these: Denial! Betrayal! Cowardice! Conformity! Pride!
Jealousy! These sins nailed Christ to the tree. And we are
troubled when we see that these very sins reside in us all.
Therefore it is our pride, our conformity, our betrayal which
crucified the Lord Jesus!
The
cross of Christ speaks of our sin! But, for those who admit
weakness and spiritual poverty, the cross becomes the power of
God unto salvation.”

MY
ADVICE TO JEWS
MUSLIMS
& CHRISTIANS!
My advice to all Muslims,
Jews and Christians, don’t look at the failures and frailties of
mere men in whatever religion. Look rather to Jesus Christ -
God’s Son - Who came to this sin-cursed earth to save us all
from our sins, fears, torments and eternal death!
Allow me say to my
Jewish friends, Moses will never save you; to my Muslim
friends, Muhammed cannot save you; to my Catholic friends,
Mary cannot save you; to my Protestant friends, Church
membership and good deeds cannot save you! ONLY JESUS CHRIST has
the power and ability to save you, through His death for you on
the cross, by the power of the Holy Spirit and through His Holy
Word!
And now may the grace of
our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father and the
fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, even until Jesus
comes again! Amen.

Giving:
The Secret
of
Receiving!

"Give,
and
it
shall
be
given
unto
you;
good
measure,
pressed
down,
and
shaken
together,
and
running
over,
shall
men
give
into
your
bosom.
For
with
the
same
measure
that
ye
mete
withal
it
shall
be
measured
to
you
again.
(Luke
6:
38)
Show
me
a
giving,
sharing
person,
and
I'll
show
you
a
happy
person!
On
the
other
hand,
a
stingy
individual
is
usually
taken
up
with
himself
and
others
of
‘the
same
ilk’,
and
soon
tires
of
both
himself
and
them!
Those
kind
of
people
are
most
often
selfish,
grabby
and
critical
of
others. They are usually insecure because they trust only in
themselves,
rather
than
having
faith
in
God
and
their
fellowmen! After a time of self-adulation and navel-gazing, the ‘self-made
man’
loses
faith
in
his
own
ability
and
the
system
that
‘created
him’!
Consequently,
such
a
person
is
unhappy,
depressed
and
a
candidate
for
ulcers!
Some
of
the
happiest
people
I
have
met
are
dedicated
seniors
who
have
faith
in
God,
live
only
for
their
families,
doting
on
the
‘little ones’,
counselling
their
children
or
entertaining
guests
who
‘drop by’!
What
makes
this
country
function,
is
not
the
bloated
beaurocrat
or
politician,
but
the
dedicated
moms
and
dads
who
rise
early
in
the
morning
to
help
their
kids
deliver
newspapers
and
who
spend
countless
hours
driving
them
to
music
lessons,
hockey
or
baseball
practice
and
Sunday
School!
Let's
not
forget
the
thousands
of
community
workers
who
continually
give
their
time,
money
and
effort
in
working
to
help
the
under-privileged,
and
be
a
blessing
to
their
fellowman!
I've
met
a
lot
of
these
special
people
- during
more
than
four
decades
of
Christian
Ministry
-
many
of
which
are
unheralded
and
unsung.
And
without
doubt,
these
are
the
real
backbone
of
Canada's
homes,
churches
and
communities!
KATIE
KUTRYK:
ONE
IN
A
MILLION!
I'm
referring
to
people
like
Katie
Kutryk,
who
passed
away
a
number
of
years
ago
at
88
years
of
age. She was a woman who never missed a beat for Jesus, the Church
or
her
family!
Katie
was
‘always there’ for us all; an example extra-ordinaire,
of
Christian
loving,
giving
and
sharing
the
gospel
of
Christ
in
her
daily
living.
She
utilized
every
opportunity
to
testify,
give
to
missions
and
support
her
Church
and
pastor!
We
all
miss
her
dearly!
My
son
Ken, Superintendent of the Alberta District of the Pentecostal
Assemblies
of
Canada,
put
Katie's
life
in
perspective
by
sharing
the
following
at
her
funeral:
"Several years ago, a number of Edmonton Churches united for a Gospel
Outreach.
The
weather
turned
bitterly
cold
and
attendance
was
poor.
As
I
was
hurrying
towards
the
auditorium,
a
lone
figure
stepped
off
the
bus
and
headed
against
the
wind,
in
the
same
direction.
It
was
Katie
Kutryk.
While
others
had
stayed
home
to
enjoy
their
fireplaces,
Katie
had
come
to
serve!"
Here's
a
little
poem
which
I
hope
will
be
an
inspiration
to
you.
We
found
it
inscribed
on
a
restaurant
place
mat.
The
last
six
lines
were
added
by
myself.
GIFTS
TO
GIVE
 To
your
enemy....forgiveness |
To
your spouse ... trust |

To
your opponent .... tolerance |
To
your employer .... loyalty |
|
To
a friend --- your heart |
To
elected officials ... your prayers |
|
To
a customer ... service |
To
your Minister ..... dedication |
|
To

Jesus Christ ... your life |

every child .... a good example |
To
your fellowman ... your best |
|
To
yourself .... respect |

Jesus
said:
"...Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them
that
hate
you,
and
pray
for
them
which
despitefully
use
you
and
persecute
you".
(Matt.
5:44)
It
is
difficult
to
be
tolerant
and
caring
to
those
who
misunderstand
or
abuse
us,
but
the
Holy
Spirit
gives
the
necessary
help
to
do
so.
To
be
tolerant
however,
does
not
mean
that
you
must
compromise
your
principles!
Let
us
all
seek
to
be
servers
and
givers,
rather
than
always
demanding
others
to
serve
us.
And
remember
that
true
charity
or
'agape'
love
goes
the
‘second
mile’!
EARN
ALL
YOU
CAN,
SAVE
ALL
YOU
CAN
AND
GIVE
ALL
YOU
CAN!
What
our
young
people
need
today,
is
a
definite
example
of
godly
principles
exhibited
by
adults. There is nothing worse than being a hyprocrite! The Bible
says:
"A
good
name
is
rather
to
be
chosen
than
great
riches..."
(Prov.
22:1)
In
order
to
respect
others,
their
property
and
their
rights,
we
must
first
respect
ourselves
and
our
own
property!
Building
strong
families,
requires
husbands
and
wives
to
show
love,
affection
and
trust
toward
one
another,
in
public
and
private!
Something
that
is
sadly
lacking
in
Canada
today,
is
the
old
fashioned
"Protestant
work
ethic"
that
built
this
country!
It
is
important
for
employees
to
be
loyal
to
their
employers,
by
putting
in
a
good
day's
work,
and
those
who
pay
the
salaries
must
be
fair
to
their
employees.
Our
government
leaders
and
elected
officials
need
our
prayers
and
support,
as
do
our
pastors
and
Gospel
Ministers
who
labour
among
us
for
the
common
good
of
all.
John
Wesley,
founder
of
the
Methodist
Church
stated:
“Earn
all
you
can,
save
all
you
can
and
give
all
you
can.”
To
follow
Jesus
Christ
and
His
teachings
is
not
easy,
but
it
is
so
rewarding!
He
said:
"Whosoever
will
come
after
Me,
let
him
deny
himself
and
take
up
his
cross
and
follow
Me".
(Mark
8:34).
You
may
say,
“That
is
an
impossibility!”
And
you
are
absolutely
right.
In
the
natural,
that
is
impossible.
Jesus’
disciples
asked
Him:
“Who
then
can
be
saved?”
The
Holy
Record
states:
“And
Jesus
looking
upon
them
saith,
With
men
it
is
impossible,
but
not
with
God:
for
with
God
all
things
are
possible.”
(Mark
10:
27)
Making
a
statement
about
Jesus
and
the
Christian
life,
St
John
said:
“That
was
the
true
Light,
which
lighteth
every
man
that
cometh
into
the
world.
He
was
in
the
world,
and
the
world
was
made
by
Him,
and
the
world
knew
Him
not.
He
came
unto
His
own
and
His
own
(Jewish
nation)
received
Him
not.
“But
as
many
as
received
Him,
to
them
gave
He
power
(authority)
to
become
the
sons
of
God,
even
to
them
that
believe
on
His
name.”
(John
1:10–12)
WHAT
IS
PURE,
UNDEFILED
RELIGION?
Writing
under
the
influence
of
the
Holy
Spirit,
St.
James
gave
us
a
defining
truth
that
changes
lives:
“Pure
religion
and
undefiled
before
God
and
the
Father
is
this,
To
visit
the
fatherless
and
widows
in
their
affliction,
and
to
keep
himself
unspotted
from
the
world.”
(James
1:
27).
The
word
religion
in
its
original
form
and
meaning
comes
from
two
latin
words,
re
and
ligio
which
means
to
‘hold
back
something’
or
‘be
bound
again
to
something’.
True
religion
holds
back
the
advance
of
the
devil.
It
holds
back
the
avalanche
of
pornography,
perverted
sex,
rape,
incest,
violence,
murder,
abortion,
infanticide,
alcoholism,
drug
abuse
and
gambling!
And
it
ties
us
again
to
Christ,
to
be
crucified
with
Him,
suffer
with
Him,
buried
with
Him
and
rise
with
Him.
Hallelujah!
In
my
opinion,
if
all
Christians
in
Canada
would
begin
to
practice
the
gospel
of
Christ,
we
would
not
only
solve
our
own
problems
but
those
of
other
nations
as
well.!!
DIVINE HEALING
through Faith in
Jesus Christ!

GOD’S
MIRACLES
ARE
FOR
TODAY!
THE
BIBLE
says:
“Jesus Christ, the same
yesterday
and
forever”.
(Heb.
13:8)
MARTIN
LUTHER
the
great
reformer
said,
“How
often
has
it
happened,
and
still
does,
that
devils
have
been
driven
out
in
the
name
of
Christ;
also
by
calling
on
His
Name
and
prayer,
that
the
sick
have
been
healed”.
JOHN
WESLEY,
founder
of
the
Methodist
Church,
declared:
“I believe that God can open the eyes of the
blind,
cause
the
lame
to
walk,
and
the
deaf
to
hear,
if
men
will
have
faith
in
God;
stand
on
the
word
of
God,
and
pray
according
to
the
faith
that
God
hath
given
them.
God
will
do
the
things
He
said
He
would
because
He
is
a
never-changing
God.”
In his ‘Notes on the New Testament’ John Wesley, commenting on James 5: 14 says: ‘Having
anointed
him
with
oil’ – “This
single
conspicuous
gift,
which
Christ
committed
to
His
apostles
(Mark 6: 3) remained in the Church
long
after
the
miraculous
gift
ceased.
“It seems to have been designed to remain
always,
and
St,
James
directs
the
elders,
who
were
the
most
gifted
men,
to
administer
it.This
was
the
whole
process
of
physics
in
the
Christian
Church,
till
it
was LOST THROUGH UNBELIEF.”
DR.
A.B.
SIMPSON,
founder
of
Christian
&
Missionary
Alliance,
stated:
“If ever there was an age when the world needed
the
witness
of
God’s
supernatural
working,
it
is
in
this
day
of
unbelief
and
Satan’s
power.
“Therefore,
we
may
expect,
as
the
end
approaches,
that
the
Holy
Ghost
will
work
in
the
healing
of
sickness,
in
the casting out of demons, in
remarkable
answers
to
prayer,
in
special
and
wonderful
providences,
and
in
such
forms
as
may
please
His
sovereign
will
to
an
unbelieving
world.”
DR.
CHARLES
H.
MAYO,
Mayo
Brothers
Clinic,
said:
“Christian healing has passed beyond the stage of
experience
and
its
value
cannot
be
questioned.
Spiritual
healing
is
no
longer
the
hope
of
a
few
but
the
belief
and
prayer.”
DR.
A.
J.
GORDON,
in
his
book
‘The
Ministry
of
Healing’
stated:
“But now comes a very suggestive fact; that
wherever
we
find
a
revival
of
primitive
faith
and
apostolic
simplicity,
there
we
find
a
profession
of
the
chaste
and
evangelical
miracles,
which
characterized
the
apostolic
age.
These
attend
the
cradle
of
every
spiritual
reformation
as
did
the
birth
of
the
Church
itself.
Waldenses,
Moravians,
Hugenots,
Covenanters,
Friends,
Baptists
and
Methodist,
all
have
their
record
of
them.”
JESUS
CHRIST
said:
“If
thou
canst
believe;
all
things
are
possible
to
him
that
believeth”. (Mark
9:23)
“And
these
signs
shall
follow
them
that
believe;
In
My
name
shall
they
cast
out
devils;
they
shall
speak
with
new
tongues;
They
shall
take
up
serpents;
and
if
they
drink
any
deadly
thing,
it
shall
not
hurt them; they shall lay hands
on
the
sick,
and
they
shall
recover.”
(Mark
16:17-18)
MAX
SOLBREKKEN
says:
“That
God
is
a
healer
is
no
secret.
That
His
Word
has
amazing
saving,
healing
and
creative
power
is
well
known.
But
that
His
power
to
save,
heal
and
deliver
is
readily
available
at
absolutely
NO
COST,
is
not
widely
known!
Most people believe that there are strings
attached,
a
price
to
pay,
good
works
to
do,
a
guru
to
follow
and
that
God
favours
only
a
few!
Divine healing is a gift from God to those
who
are
fearful,
hurting,
sick
and
diseased.
And
He
offers
it
freely
through
the
death
and
resurrection
of
His
Son
Jesus
Christ,
by
Whom
He
has
defeated
sin,
sickness,
fear, death & Satan! Glory to God forever!

This
little
booklet
was
written
in
1965
-
only
two
years
after
I
had
entered
the
ministry
-
and
brought
the
healing
message
of
Jesus
Christ
to
multitudes!
It
was
titled
‘How
to
Receive
Healing
from
Jesus
Christ’!
Numerous
miracles
of
divine
healing
and
deliverance
have
been
wrought
by
our
blessed
Lord
Jesus
through
this
ministry,
during
the
past
four
decades!
The
truths
found
in
this
message
are
still
basic
and
necessary
for
each
of
us,
if
we
are
to
experience
the
presence
of
the
Holy
Spirit
Who
brings
the
healing.
Without
doubt,
God
is
still
as
interested
in
the
human
family
as
ever
and
His
Word
is
still
true
and
“by
His
stripes
we
are
healed”!
No
one
can
change
that!
He
proves
His
great
love
to
us
by
forgiving
our
sins
and
healing
our
sicknesses,
as
Dr.
A.B.
Simpson
-
founder
of
Christian
&
Missionary
Alliance
-
concurred
many
years
ago
in
his
powerful
book,
‘The
Gospel
of
Healing’!
Prophet
David
declared:
“Bless
the
Lord,
O
my
soul,
and
forget
not
all
His
benefits:
Who
forgiveth
all
thine
iniquities;
Who
healeth
all
thy
diseases”.
(Ps.
103:2-3)
Again
the
Psalmist
proclaims:
“He
hath
sent
His
Word,
and
healed
them,
and
delivered
them
from
their
destructions.
Oh,
that
men
would
praise
the
Lord
for
His
goodness,
and
for
His
wonderful
works
to
the
children
of
men.”
(Ps.
107:20-21)
He
is
our
kind
and
caring
Heavenly
Father,
and
it
has
been
my
joy
to
see
His
hand
outstretched
toward
the
sinful,
sick
and
suffering
these
many
years!
All
glory
and
praise
to
His
wonderful
name,
through
Jesus
Christ
our
Lord!
It
is
my
prayer
that
as
we
reprint
this
little
“messenger
of
hope”,
faith
will
rise
in
many
hearts
and
great
blessings
will
touch
multitudes
